Yea I noticed same this morning. The channels didn't pop up after I rescanned.

walcolm: i'm sure you should know by now that Nigerians naturally exploit each other. to cut your sim at the friendship centre for your network should be free but expect to be charged around 1000

i won't advise you to cut the sim yourself

Blackberry Complete and Blackberry Absolute plans do not work on bb10 devices. U have to use the newly introduced BB10 plans especially on MTN and Etisalat. For glo and airtel, BBC and BIS works on bb10 but we know it won't be there forever. The choice is yours

Glo BBC subscription is working perfectly on bb10 devices. Its what I'm currently using on my z10. Everything works fine and there has not been any case of deduction from my accout balance so far.

sandraa: I subscribed for my normal mtn bis on the 19th of july after my subcribtion expired and till now I cant browse on my bb10.
infact all my credit has been zapped, now am scared to load any credit on my fone!i called the idiots and they told me to change to default which I did, but same issue but my bbm is working but cant check any other app with internet! not even facebook.

My bro I suspect u subscribed to the wrong blackberry plan. BIS and BBC plans are ment for blackberry devices running os7, os6, os5 and lower versions of blackberry operating system. For your BB10 device u must use the BB10 plans or ur credit especially on MTN and Etisalat network. The default which the cc rep told u is the bb10 plan. Find time to acquaint urself with the new codes.

I think the Glo bb10 midi plan (N1400 for 2gig data) is manageable compared to what MTN and Etisalat is offering.

Thatz not true. It supports BIS and you can also use the normal internet plan to get all the BB services.

petfun4u: Yes, you can nail both. I nail the following on the same dish
1. 4.8E, 16E, 17E, 28E and 36E (1meter dish)
2. 7W and 22W (1 meter dish)
