Get the Huawei e5573s-320 (the official MTN 4g mifi), when it's unlocked you can use it for all the 4g bands in Nigeria.
I think MTN sells it for ₦20,000 or so.
You may be able to get the unlocked one cheaper.

Yeah I already get double data on my Infinix Hot S..the best plan to use is the 5H for 1gb on MTN Pulse, turns into 5H for 2Gb with the bonus..but the 4G plans are different to the normal plans. You cant use a normal plan on MTN 4G. Once you switch to 4G it stops browsing. I don't know why they made the 4G plans independent of the existing ones. They are much more expensive. Does anybody know if they've changed that?

In general though, I don't use MTN to browse much. I find it more economical to go for Ntel's 10K for unlimited data simply because of the ratio of price to the amount of data you're getting. Like I said before I've averaged 160GB monthly for a few months now that's roughly 1K=16GB. And I haven't even maxed out before or noticed any bandwidth reduction. I wonder when their fair usage policy kicks in Maybe at 200GB

Ntel is such a stupid network that the fact that the phone clearly supports their 4G band does not mean that it will work.

i suffered the same fate with about 2 phones. na luck the thing dey take work.

plus its not a wise idea, because their network is so crap that it will be killing the phone battery very quickly



for the MiFi, maybe the service isn't too good in that your vicinity.....

if it is unlocked it usually works without much ado

I've done everything known in the book to get these networks to work, but to no avail. Trust me when I say everything. You either wait a bit and hope that miui 9 will offer global stable for the redmi note 3 mtk or unlock bootloader and port to other roms like eu roms, that's why I was looking for vosquare, I think he has done something like that before.
