Not allowing the school to pass through me.
Everything happened really fast for and getting admission at a very young age and as the first born,i felt this enormous responsibility to set a good tone for my younger ones, mehn the pressure was real.
I went hard on my academics;i was all about the library...
I had beleif in God,i wasnt religious at all.
Am in my finals now, will be graduating with first class by God's grace, this final year i would try things,go out more and maybe bang one or two undergrads just for the records.
not trying to pry, but could you tell me how many hours you studied daily and stuff like that?

Do you think if I try to read 8 hours everyday, that'd would excessive?
Education / Re: What Do You Regret Not Doing In Your University/School Days? by Amakababe(f): 10:21am On Mar 02, 2019
I'M PRESENTLY AN ADMISSION SEEKER AND I WAS ADVISED TO WITHDRAW LAST YEAR AFTER JUST A YEAR ON CAMPUS.

I read but still failed. So I regret READING! In retrospect, reading now feels like profligacy to me. I read too much and it was rather counterproductive.

Au contraire, I regret not having lots of sexx

I wish I had fùcked more handsome boys en masse and perhaps girls too, to fully explore my sex life.

I wouldn't say it will make my future brighter, but if I could go back to school- I would allow school pass through me i.e, socialise and do fun things. I lived a very triangular life. Didn't want to make mistakes or disappoint my dad, who means a lot to me. Now I am older, I work more than I unwind. Them no dey learn left hand for old age.

I am not advising anyone (lady) to get dickstracted, but it is advisable to build healthy relationships and create memories while in school. When it is all over, you get your First class, 2.1, 2.2, 3rd class or pass...the bond created would come through. You think of your colleagues, friends, lodge mates, fresher's night...etc and smile. The memories will last a lifetime. These memories and experiences, helps in shaping us.

Also, do not listen to those people that will tell you grades do not matter. Get good grades, then we can talk about Martha.

OP, please it is "I'm" (being I am) not "Am". Make a conscious effort to unlearn that "Am".
epic pun!

I like that!
You sound rather intelligent!

Romance / Will I See Him Again? I Want To See Him Again, Please Help. by Amakababe(f): 11:59am On Feb 28, 2019
For nairalanders who know Unity Villa in Futminna GK campus, I sojourned there in my first year (2016) with my 300 level female friends who allowed me stay with them for a month before I moved to the hostel, and two weeks into my stay, I was struck by a sight of God in flesh, literally and metaphorically. I was looking out my window on a beautiful evening and saw him walking towards the alley that led to the gate, and I was indeed stunned!
He was devastatingly handsome and walks conspicuously, that what my first crush in the school, I saw him a couple times, and he knew I was a fresher (I suppose). I would pass him sitted in his corridor many times a day in attempts to give greenlight - apparently he would see me, and I would see him staring from the corner of my eye, but I wore a frowning bitter facial expression so I think that might've scared him off (like narcissistic fresher, I better keep off!)

I didn't know his department or level (but I presume he should be 200 or 300, while I was in 100)

Sadly, I didn't get the chance to talk to him during my stay there, and I eventually left.

Fast forward to 2018, I saw him again after 2 years and I looked and immediately dropped my gaze, I was foolish and now I think he's graduated already. I've described him to my friends, asking for name or phone number, but they can't picture the description I have given them.

Please advise on what to do. I promise to give the greenlight a million times next time I see him.

And being paedophile isn't natural too? Fool!

Ignorance will be the death of Nigerians.. Being gay is natural, though pimping a minor is a crime... There are underaged girls being pimped around but where is our rage towards the issue?

The fact that someone is gay doesn't bother me one bit, we need more of them as they adopt needy children and further fine arts and tourism. Nigerians need to rethink their biases.

no, i don't. You do.
You're the one hiding in the guise of a heterosexual man behind the internet, it's only on nairaland you're pro-gay.
Don't worry, it's always takes two to tango, you'd soon be caught in your homo bed and the mob action would be artisanal.

Last time I checked, you can contract HIV from females as well. cool
yes you can, but homosexuality is the MAJOR activity behind AIDS, argue with your reflection.

how do you expect to engage in what nature abhors and get away with it?
Homosexuals are delusional and neurotic.
Everything good in life would elude you for choosing homosexuality, and you'll be left paulverised and polluted. Homosexuality is bizarre, depraved, and deplorable. You can't fool nature.

The only crime here is that they got themselves involved in what is illegal in Nigeria
Apart from that, straight people over the years have committed more sexual crimes compared to gays
From child marriage, parents sleeping with daughters, prostitution etc
So the offenders here being gay doesn't make their crime greater than the rest of the crime going on in Nigeria
Hiv isn't only about gay people, straight people have the virus as well.
fagģot!
Bloody HOMOSEXUAL.
You seem to not be cognizant of the fact that AIDS is rather a gay man's disease.

BIBLE NEVER SAID WOMEN CAN HAVE SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE. IN FACT, THERE'S NOTHING THE BIBLE CONDEMNS MORE THAN NON-VIRGINS.
IN THE 10 COMMANDMENTS, GOD FORBADE FORNICATION, THIEVING, LIES, AND OTHER 7.
I DON'T SEE HOMOSEXUALITY ON THAT LIST SO IF WE HAVE TO GO BY THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION'S LOGIC, MOST CHRISTIANS ARE WORSE SINNERS THAN THE AVERAGE GAY PERSON.

OH, LETS NOT FORGET THAT THE BIBLE RESTRICTS WOMEN FROM HAVING PUBLIC OPINION. YOUR PRESENCE ON THIS FORUM IS A TERRIBLE SIN AND YOU SHOULD BE STONED IMMEDIATELY.

The Jussie Smollett guy and attention seeking is becoming nauseating.
We get it, you're a hedonistic faqqot, but stop shoving it down our throats please!

As for tonto, she married a batty boy, and presumably we understand where the 'love and support' is coming from. She has once had a taste of gay penis. Who says you can't have your cake and still eat it??
