I am in a fix. I applied for My Msc in ABU zaria while I was still teaching in a private school in the north east. I resigned because I wanted to go for the qualifying exam but my school wouldn't permit me. now ABU has offered me the admission. I have spent all d remaining money in securing d admission and paying my acceptance fee, traveling to d east to inform my parents etc. its remaining my school fees and accommodation. NAIRALANDERS, pls what do to make ends meet? where can I get a job/work to hold in Kaduna or a close by city so I can raise money for myself. my parents are out of th3 equation because they said they don't have. all those I have hoped on don't even respond to my text. what work can I do? who will God use to assist me?

You need to take Grandpa to an ENT department, so his listening can be tested and proper hearing aid issued. Not best to just buy without proper testing(it would just be like buying a Toyota's radiator and expecting it to fit a DAF lorry).

For my grand father to hear 'papa good morning', u would have to come close to him and raise ur voice. It wasnt like this about 5 years ago. Though he has been complaining that he has difficuty in hearing until u come closer. He is over 90 years and he still trek to the town hall meeting. I feel he needs a hearing aid. Doctors in d house, pls what kind of hearing aid can i suggest to my dad to buy for him so that sounds would be naturaly amplified for him? Where and how much can it be bought? Or any other advice. To be honest with you, I don't really encourage people to try those satellites with 90, even with the scalar ring. That thing is a scam. Get at least 1.2m dish.

Those claiming to be getting sport24 with 90cm aren't really telling you the truth.

A JSS 3 student (over 12 years) in the school where I'm teaching (in Yola, Adamawa state) approached me this morning. Her name is Oluchi (not real name). She pleaded with me to help her talk to her mother. That an ex student of our school (she met on facebook) wants to take her 4 shopping on d grounds that he knew her when she was in JSS1. I told her that the first thing the ex student was suppose to do is to introduce himself 2 d family. And familiarize himself with her parents. And that if I was in her parents shoes, I'll not let her go for d shopping. I asked her if the boy has a job or is he an undergraduate? and many other reasonable questions. All her answers were negative. I told her that she can't just trust anybody. We males could be dangerous. And I finally told her that the guy may have a different thing in his heart. "What if the guy finally lures u into having se*x with him" huh

THE CRUX OF THE MATTER
She said and I quote,"Uncle, I know what men can do. I know about se*x". I shut her up that she doesn't understand what I mean. Its not just talking about se*x, I mean, the real se*x. She said YES she understood what I'm talking about. She said that their pastor has been having se*x with her almost on a weekly basis. Any day She goes for choir practice on friday in preparation for church service, the pastor will call her to his house in the church compound to have se*x with her. And at times, when she goes to join others to clean the church for weekly activities. Within this period, the pastor do have se*x with her up to three times within the week. Several times, her mother has sent her to church and she ends up sleeping with d pastor. The said pastor is married but the wife is not around as she made me to understand that the woman is still schooling in another state.
She said that this character is running in the lineage of d pastor. And the pastor can't help himself. The pastor has been molesting her for over a year now.

Now, I asked her if she'll want me to help her. She answered in the affirmative but that she can't help herself too because she finds it difficult to say NO when ever the man starts pulling her clothes.

This has been going on since she was 11 years. Please, I need an advice on what to do. She said her menstruation last up to 7 days. She doesn't want the man to be exposed the way I want and she doesn't want her dad to know! (That d dad will kill her). At the same time, she wants to stop but she's finding it difficult.

Who do I report to first! How can I help my young student out!!! Who has a way out! I can give a detailed information to whom so ever has the will to help me stop this mess.

At the end of the story, she became the most submissive wife on planet earth by the time he was through with her lol.

You dont know her yet let alone understand her person and i think its same for her. I see the time you both should have used in studying and knowing each other, you use in catching up on kisses, not that i blame you guys much because you seem not to know certain things should be in place before marriage.

She is too clingy and possesive, it may develope into insecurities that may make her suspect your every move, it can also develope to obsession and make her do dangerous or harmful things if she dosent outgrow it. You too sound egoistic, what do you mean talk back to you? And you couldnt drive your point without raising your voice, it start gradually and then become habit. She maybe talking rudely but she is saying something listen. Work on your attitude of not wanting stress or problem, everyday is not christmas, deal with it not running. Talk to her on what you dont like and listen to her version of you and both should amend. Work on the things i pointed out. Get to know and understand each other beyound the kisses. If it doesnt work now it wont in marriage.
