Another question though, is it compulsory for my spouse to write the IELTS exams even if I don't plan to use it to boost my point? I have used the CRS tool and my point is 425. Do you think this will be enough to get ITA? Thanks!

Transcript Received - April 17 2017
Verification Request- April 27 2017
School Responded - May 4 2017
ECA - May 17 2017.

Just wondering if it's possible to have two express entry profiles, then one can be withdrawn if ITA is received on the other. Please advise.

Nobody in this forum has gotten an offer because no one has gotten an offer at all. As of now, nobody has been called to resume before 1st of April. Don't ask me how I know.

The phone calls were only to confirm availability of the people that received it for April 1 which, according to what I can deduce, only a few people got. That doesn't really amount to an offer but seem to be a good sign. And April 1 is not a resumption date. It's probably for medicals or some documentation as previously surmised.

According to a friend that received the call, the caller mentioned that he stated at the interview that he would need some time before he can activate a new employment and that would he, despite that, be available for the said date. So I am THINKING (with emphasis) that the calls were merely to clarify availability of the successful ones that stated at their interview that they'll need some time to disengage from their present duties since resumption is so close and that kind of grace may not be realistic.

This is just me adding my rational thoughts to the very credible info at my disposal.

I am open to a contrary opinion.

I think in this scenario we need to avoid incorrect constructions so as not to cause unnecessary confusion.

So I think it is better to say "anyone who WAS called" instead of "anyone who HAS BEEN called". The second one (as you have used it) may be confused to mean some people have been called to resume.

Just what I am thinking anyway.

I can perceive everybody is on high alert at this point. Very expectant. May we receive good news.

I was specifically warned about the course before getting admitted into Lautech. They treat the course as if it's medicine. So voluminous, lecturers will give u five outlines in class and expect 10 in exam.
Food science and engineering is an hybrid and an applied science course.

To those of you calling it catering.... well, u are myopic. So many beautiful chicks I'm my school thought it's a simple course, hence they rushed in picking it as a first choice. They later took to their heels to "Agricultures" when they couldnt bear the heat of the Faculty of Engineering courses and the departmental "straw licking CGPA FSE" courses...Lolz

Your mistake as a Food/Chemical analyst/Quality control/Assurance Personnel etc could lead to loss of lives and closure of food companies. Hence, good schools are always cautious about graduating half baked students.

I'm a proud food scientist graduate from Lautech. Ask anything u care to know. It's one of d most beautiful courses ever.

On a positive note, i strongly believe that i was not scheduled for this week because i don't even av tp to travel back to and from lagos now. I'll be scheduled soon (most probably next week). By then funds will be in place. Lol..

First, I answered that the flours were same. However, I do not think the point of that assessment was to actually test whether you could tell them apart. I think what was being tested was whether you could form an opinion firmly and stick by it.

Secondly, I think it's premature to conclude that you will no longer get called. There wasn't any indication that the invites are over. There wasn't indication of the opposite either. There wasn't a chance to ask questions as everyone of the HR personnel was in one panel or another. But I am more inclined to think that invites are still coming.

I know it's difficult to stay positive but that's all we can do for now. Stay positive.

First, make sure u don't skip breakfast tomorrow or u may regret it. I arrived at 10 and was interviewed at 3:30 despite being the fifth although last on the line. The interview panel took their time; there was no urgency from them as they painstakingly went through every inch of detail on my CV from education background, SIWES, final project and it's relevance, NYSC, and what I've been doing since NYSC- whether I was working or not. They also asked questions bordering on individual responses to certain complex situations and and general group behavior.

Just go in relaxed and ready to talk, and try to be consistent in your responses to avoid suspicions of embelished answers or lies. Lying is a big risk unless necessary and get ready to negotiate your salary expectations- they may make it seem like you're pricing a cab.

You mean your interview is scheduled for Wednesday (tomorrow)?

Don't prepare for something too serious. This stage will test you prowess in practical situations.
You'll be splitted into different groups of 3. Each group would take turns carrying out two different test. Anyone of these two described below could come first for your group.

Test 1: You'll be presented with a sample of flour which you are to measure and sift through a series of sieves. You'll be making use of a sifter which you most likely haven't used before so I'm sure your ability to understand how machines work would be graded.
Hint: ensure each of the sieves are perfectly fitted into each other and the clamp STRONGLY TIGHTENED over the top cover.

Test 2: You'll be presented with two samples of flour and required to determine if they are from the same flour or not. Colour, texture and a comparison of particles under microscope should help you make your decision.
Hint: You should ask if you are allowed to taste. I didn't and I felt stupid since flour is perfectly edible.
