Amash, it's okay. You should start antenatal though,you have to make time for your baby bust schedule or not.. I also delayed in making up my mind about where to deliver.
Only submitted my visa app about 3 weeks ago.
Had my interview today.
It was easy breezy.thanks to God and thanks to this forum.
The visa officer asked why I was traveling and I told him to have my baby.
He asked if I had contacted any hospital, I said yes and he asked to see any doc showing that, I gave him d letter.
He asked what I do, I'm not working at d moment and so I told him.
He asked what my husband does, I told him
He asked what d cost of d trip was, I gave him a spread sheet and then he asked to see bank statements, I showed him.
Then he said my.visa has been approved and I should ensure I keep all my receipts "forever and ever"
I laughed and said thanks.
All of this took about 3-5mins.
A couple of people were rejected when I was there, including another pregnant lady.
I believe she didn't come out straight to say she was gonna have her baby there, the.VO had to drag it outta her.
All in.all,I'm grateful to God and all of you who helped with your tips.

am a first time mum and havent even started my antenatal. am four month gone....still choosy on what hospital here in abuja for ante natal and what state in the u.s for delivery....
i guess am not on track! someone scold me please....

Nita2013: Hi dear. Garki hospital iss no longer owned by govt but by d owner of Nisa. Delivery fee there is 50k while antenatal fee is 30k.

nenababe: . This is all the fees for a normal delivery with no complications. Howver, u have to also pay for antenal and Lab works which is below $600 depending on how far gone u are and d tests required. One thing I know is that use ur Naija sense to negotiate. If u want I can send u Dr Ramani's no and u call and make all inquiries.

Nita2013: Hello Amash, I live in Abuja and I used Federal Staff Hospital Jabi Airport Road. It's really affordable but my dear d crowd na die oh. I normally leave the house for my antenatal by 5:30am and get there latest 6:00am but have never been number 1. D earliest I av been is number 6. D earliest time I av left the hospital is 12noon. So if u r up to d stress once in a month then u can use their
Services. D hospital is extremely neat.

Every antenatal u pay 500naira for consultation and 700naira for PCV and urine. After 28weeks u r required to pay 30k for delivery fee whether u wud deliver there of not. As long as u attend antenatal there u must pay it or they won't attend to u.

nenababe: In. Atlanta, u can try Piedmont Henry Hospital that charge $3,500 womanly and DR RAMANI LAXWAN of Eagles Landing OB/GYN who charge $1,760 womanly too.

modath: If you don't intend to have your baby there eventually, save your cash and go to Fed staff hospital in Jabi instead.. I had my baby there( Nisa) in '09 and two of my friends have had their babies there as well, aint nothing special about that place,most of their good doctors have left to start their own private practice.
Its good but not good enough to charge 750k (it could be more for compicated cases)for a C-section.

thanx @modart but do you mean 750k to give birth cuz i was told 150k ante natal and 180k birth and yes i dont intend to give birth there as i am exploring my ptions of giving birth in the us
