The US maintain ambiguity when it comes to China. While it is true that they do not recognize Taiwan as a sovereign state, they officially do not agree it is part of China. For example, the US is the biggest supplier of weapons to Taiwan. How can an entity that is not a country have it's own military and be able to buy weapons? The US sells weapons to Taiwan. If Taiwan were truly under China sovereignty, they wouldn't need to buy weapons, have their own military, elect their own presidents and other political leaders.

1. Jewish people: The Jewish identity is a combination of religion, ethnicity, and culture. Jewish people come from diverse backgrounds, including Ashkenazi (Eastern Europe), Sephardic (Spain and North Africa), Mizrahi (Middle East), and others. Isreal is not the only country you can find jews. You can find the Jewish people in the US, Canada, UK, France, Russia, Argentina, Germany, Brazil etc. Infact, there are more jews in the US than in Isreal. Being Jewish is an ethno-religous identity. Being Jewish doesn't automatically make you an isreali citizen.

2. Isreal: This is a modern country that was founded by the UK and US on Palestinian land. It was founded as a Jewish state and it's population is not entirely Jewish. It has Arab, Christian and druze population. There are other small minority and ethnic groups in Isreal that are not Jewish.

This is why I am telling you that when the Bible mentions Isreal, it can't be referring to the present state of Isreal. If you say the Bible was referring to this present state of Isreal, does it include the Arabs, Christians, druze that are citizens of isreal? And does it exclude Jews that are real jews but don't live in Isreal and are not isreali citizens?

If you study your Bible very well, you will realise that Isreal means two things in the bible;
1. The body of Christ. Those who have come to accept the authority of Jesus (whether you are a jew or gentile) or
2. The Jewish people (which is not the same as the country of Isreal)
