The market for Smartphones is an open ended and level playing field according to each OEM capacity.
As l post this at the supermarket right across my office l can see Mac Cleans; Closeup and several different brands of Toothpaste. Is left for the consumer to pick the one that suits him/her best.
Same goes for the different clubs and leagues in Europe. Chelsea, Man.U, Real M, Barca etc is all a matter of choice to the Fans and Viewers.
My dad can't foist his party on the entire family. Same goes for the Faith I want to practice. It's a personal decision I need to make.
And at school my teacher can only counsel me on.the different careers. I make the final decision not him.
In the matter pertaining to Tecno and Samsung with others like BB, Nokia etc.
TECNO is the ONLY CREDIBLE ALTERNATIVE in terms of Quality, Availability, After Sales Services and Performance.

Zechy09: I am happy that you said you just gave him arbitrary scores from your mind. The problem is that most of you sit at home and say nothing is happening meanwhile a lot is happening. Bussiness men are reading the report and looking at places where govt is subsidizing things and taking advantage of those to grow their businesses while others like you sit at home and say nothing is happening.
You gave health sector 40% from no where, mean while the equipment delivery in hospitals have been increased a lot and even my dad who is a doctor is manning equipment which do break down often but it is down to hospital management to fix these not GEJ!!!
Agriculture 30% is a joke- when all the fertilizer benefactors come and vote for him in 2015 you and I will come out and shout rigging but you will not go to villages near you to ask if people are getting these fertilizers. I know someone who got a job with govt helping to set up a delivery process for the fertilizers and a monitoring mechanism and you are here giving him 30% from your sitting room.
Corruption is from me and you- once i am caught doing the wrong thing, i will bribe my way out and blame the FG for it.. You people are making the government feel bad for exposing the truth and the next person that takes over from GEJ will certainly hide all the corruption so that people like you will say corruption has reduced. It doesn't pay to allow press freedom in Naija! GEJ has a lot to do in fighting corruption but nobody is comparing what senators earned during OBJ time to what they earn now, it has gone down by over 30% (still unbelievably high though). Nobody is asking what OBJ took for feeding per day to know if it has increased..... Nobody is asking both PDP and APC if they are collecting crazy amounts as security vote.

Pukkah: Anenih, the Mr Fix-It of those days, is obviously at his wits end. The poor man is now old and understandly tired and his once robust bag of tricks is now empty.
Having been dusted in Edo state by the dimunitive but ruthless Oshiomhole, the man is too exhausted to fight this Amaechi/2015 tussle. Himself and the other aged PDP Chairman, Bamanga Tukur, have been throwing feeble and predictive blows at Amaechi, all of which the younger and more alert man has been ducking.
Unsure of the direction the 2015 PDP primaries could go, especially from the way the Governors' Forum election went, they've come up with another shift in the goal post - look for a way to dodge party primaries for Jonathan.
Honestly, these are not the best of times for the Jonathan 2015 camp.
Tukur is expired. Anenih is tired. Akpabio is not meticulous. Jang is expired. Dickson is a lapdog. The President himself is a poor politician. Amaechi has become an eel. OBJ has jumped ship. Dokubo and Clarke and Kuku are exasperating alarmists. Mimiko is unserious and a mere opportunist.
Fredrick Faseun is deluded. Peter Obi is lazy. Theo Orji is unthinking. Okupe is bumbling. Abati is confused. Most of the ministers aren't seasoned politicians. Sullivan Chime is sick and apathetic.
Saraki is cold. Atiku is mute. The VP is a rookie and a lighweight. The Senate President is his own man and has an agenda. Same for the Speaker of House of Reps. PDP is at its weakest point since 1999. The opposition is at its strongest point.
Who are the other visible names? No wonder they're looking for a shortcut. We understand, Mr Anenih, we understand. 89 Likes |

Politics › Re: Sweet Dieziani! Sweet Goodluck! Sweet Crude! by amAZEing: 11:03am On May 28, 2013 |
Joblessness of the highest order. Zulele: By Obinna Akukwe Dieziani Allison Madueke is Nigeria’s oil minister under the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan. This woman has become the second most controversial woman in the history of Nigeria, second to Mrs Turai Yar’adua, wife of the late president Umaru Yar’adua. Hajia Yaradua took over the apparatus of governance while her husband was hospitalized in Saudi Hospital and through the use of a cabal, wrestled the acting capacity of the Goodluck Jonathan until human rights activists, Save Nigeria Group and others helped returned the constitutional mandate back to him. Dieziani Madueke, a former Director in Shell Multinational Corporation was appointed a minister under the presidency of late Yar’adua. She was among the two lists from then Vice President Jonathan whom Yaradua brought in as ministers. Therefore, the relationship between the duo preceded his presidency. During her tenure as Minister of Works, there was no evidence that she left the deplorable roads in Nigeria better than she met it. When Jonathan ascended the throne of Nigeria where food bill is N1 billion naira annually, she was transferred to the ever lucrative Petroleum Ministry. Yet there is no evidence that she has turned around the rot in the industry. Therefore, it is proper to assume that she is a bundle of stagnancy in the discharge of official functions. Despite the above, this woman who had maintained her attractive figure and superlative dress sense, is known to have the ears of Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan. A lot of close watchers in Aso Villa knows that Dieziani has lots of favors with Jonathan. All the efforts by those nicknamed “agents of darkness” to cause Jonathan to remove her or assign her a less lucrative portfolio has fallen on deaf ears. While the activists, professionals and bureaucrats are calling her incompetent and corrupt, Jonathan sees her as efficient. Therefore it would not be out of place to refer to her as Sweet Dieziani. How efficient is Sweet Dieziani. That story is for another day, however, even the First Lady has been forced to realize that respect and tolerance for Sweet Dieziani is the beginning of Wisdom. Thus her initial venomous attitude and “garagara†towards the oil minister has died naturally. Therefore, it could be conveniently said that this woman controls the sweet crude of Nigeria because a sweeter Goodluck is behind her. All these things are quite irritating to me because governance is to be run with utmost selflessness and patriotism devoid of sentiments but since we are still mortals, sentiments sometimes come in. However, it seems that this controversial woman gave her children some sort of home training and soberness in the midst of opulence. I remarked that during the fuel subsidy riots, pictures of her son Ugonna with some friends, half naked women and bundles of thousands of dollars, in reveling display at a private jet and a stretch limo, was circulated on the internet. This picture further infuriated the protesters and raised national angst. Shortly afterwards, this pleasure loving son apologized to the Nigerian people, saying that the pictures was not meant to destroy the already battered psyche. This action from this man caught my fancy. According to the Ugonna “I sincerely apologise to my family and the Nigerian public for any hurt, anger or embarrassment that might have been caused by these pictures, which were taken completely out of context. I will endeavor to ensure that all my actions in future will be sensitive to the plight of allâ€. This is the first time that a son or daughter of the embezzlers of Nigerian common wealth apologized to a traumatized public. Children of looters of Nigerian funds will naturally scorn at those criticizing their profligacy describing them as ‘Homo Sapiens whose impoverished ancestors kept in their sorry state’. Sweet Dieziani should expand this sober act of her son or step son, towards her relationship with the president and display sensitivity to the plight of Nigerians. It is time for Sweet Dieziani to convince the president that the process earlier started by late president Umaru Yaradua which led to the revocation of some illegally acquired oil blocks be resumed so that a few people do not control Nigeria, with excess funds to sponsor terrorism. Can Sweet Dieziani convince the president that importation of petroleum products from outside is not beneficial to Nigerian economy, despite the fact that some powerful persons in government are benefiting from it. Can Sweet Dieziani convince the President to support institutionalized transparency in the oil industry so that all these billions of dollars lost to oil theft annually can be blocked? Can Sweet Dieziani convince the president that a situation whereby all our oil savings is shared between the three tiers of government without reserve is another brand of voodoo revenue allocation, capable of putting the nation in trouble if there is sustained fall in oil price? Can Sweet Dieziani convince the president to dedicate more funds to poverty alleviation and job creation and reduce amount spent on frivolities, fighting opposition governors, and related matters, and leave a lasting legacy for the Jonathan presidency. It is obvious that a lot of sycophants, boot lickers and liars whose selfish interests are suffocating have held the president hostage and the man needs fresh air himself. It is discernible that the way Jonathan’s friends and inner cabinet are handling opposing opinions and actions, there might be no Nigeria by the time he finishes his tenure in 2015, 2017 or 2019, whichever one providence allows. Therefore, Sweet Dieziani could bridge the gap and let the President know that he must behave as father to all Nigerians, shun partisanship and take firm action when national cohesion is threatened. I believe that Sweet Dieziani can do all these if she rises beyond mundane attachments, rids herself of praise singers, shuns corrupt entrapment and uses the same spirit she used to caution her step son who was partying while the nation was burning. In the Ministry of Petroleum resources, the fear of Dieziani is the beginning of wisdom. All the oil hawkers who hitherto turned the ministry into an annex of Arewa House have all scampered back to their villages effectively ending the tenure of few northern cabals in the place. Can she use the same influence to reduce corruption in the Petroleum Industry and save the future of hopeless Nigerians who depend on oil revenue for survival? Queen Esther in the Bible used her influence to stop the first planned genocide on Jews in the history of the world. Everyone must give account of how he used his or her position to God ,Dieziani inclusive. Nigerians are facing economic genocide due to the fact that government has abandoned the art of providing for its citizenry and wasted billions of dollars on politics. The EFCC, ICPC, National Assembly and all organs assigned the constitutional duties of checkmating profligacy and corruption in the system, are themselves partners in the corrupt chess pool. Therefore, the hopeless Nigerians has nobody to enforce their rights to dignified existence through equitable allocation of resources. Based on the foregoing I have no option than to hope that this most powerful woman in Nigeria at the moment can heed the clarion call, use her position and favor with President Jonathan, whichever way it came about, to advance Nigeria in the right direction and stop further economic genocide on unfortunate citizenry. It is not her duty to influence all these but I believe that Sweet Diezani can mobilize other women in that place including Okonjo Iwuala, Stella-Oduah, Joy Emordi to quietly pressurize for a radical change from Sweet Goodluck towards the realization of the promised transformational agenda.

Politics › Re: After Dancing Kirikata, Kirikata Many Nigerians Have Not Ported, See Why – SAKA by amAZEing: 8:44am On May 28, 2013 |
Modz kindly move to Phone Section. Thankls. Angelica Divine: A few weeks ago, telecoms giant MTN wowed us with their ‘I don port’ ad featuring popular comedian Saka. If you’re new in this clime, Saka is a popular comedian who had featured on several Etisalat ads making him a popular face of that brand (Etisalat is a competing telecoms provider).
In what popular writer Tolu Ogunlesi described as the “biggest coup since Sani Abacha in 1994”, we suddenly woke up to Saka announcing his cross over to MTN. The ad went viral, it got us talking, Facebook was awash with several caricature adaptations of Saka, twitter was agog, MTN and Saka trended for some days, with record views on YouTube. ‘Great ad,’ many of us said. I for one applauded the strategic thinking behind the ad. MTN and DDB (their advertising agency) I imagined must have pumped hands and popped champagne. Come LAIF (Lagos Advertising International Festival) in October, I’m sure they’ll pick not a few awards (in fact, a grandprix may not be far-fetched). But now that the dust appears to be settling, the question I’m asking is how many of us really ported or will be willing to port? Statistics released by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) revealed that over 4,000 subscribers from the four GSM operators migrated with their lines to other operators, within 48 hours after the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) was launched on April 22. For a country with over 100 million mobile phone subscribers, this is number is minuscule. In addition, I have no encompassing data at the moment, but from asking people around me, no one has told me they knew someone who knew someone who has ported to MTN except Saka of course! Rather, there appears to be movement away from the yellow corner i.e based on findings from my circle of friends.
It’s still too early to judge, but from indications, it appears not many Nigerians may be interested in porting to the yellow corner after all. A number of reasons may abound, one being the availability of multiple SIM phones which ensured that many of us had more than one SIM to start with and the other reason being the generally poor level of service delivery across the industry (they are all same of same).
The whole point therefore is this; beyond great advertising, MTN needs to be able to show Nigerians what makes their network better (which by the way appears to be the path Etisalat is towing in their communication strategy). There has to be more investment in capacity to deliver. Glo recently announced the signing of a multi-billion naira deal with ZTE for facility upgrade and I’m wondering, beyond the comic act, what’s MTN’s superior offering?
It is classic capitalism, innovate or die…the consumer has to be king. Will I be better off on their network? DDB has pocketed their fee, Saka must be smiling to the bank, but this writer ain’t porting nowhere! Although one may reconsider if a similar ‘porting contract’ comes one’s way. Osun state does not need mac mansion and grand buildings at this time. What she needs is the proper positioning of all its asset to take advantage of the day when iron and steel industry kicks off. This is how people judge/measure their leader.now a tailor in akwaibom should be wondering how a governor in osun can contract directly to local tailors thereby keeping the locl economy active. why is my governor building things that are of no use to the common man while most people are going hungry.why do i have to ride okada in the midst of plenty to make up for lack of patronage? What do you think the premier league rivalry was all about.?
