However, knowing how many judges are Trump’s picks on this court makes me suspicious of every decision they make but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt on each ruling individually.

The Court is doing the same thing with birthright citizenship that case was a precedent for what's happening. The way they ruled in this universal Injunction suit on procedural grounds without tackling the question on birthright citizenship was exactly what they did in SB8. They allowed an illegal law remain in effect so if you think they will not allow an illegal executive order think again.

Some naive folks might argue that, Roe is different abortion isn't in the constitution, but citizenship is, lol. It seems you are not familiar with their argument. What they did is decide that laws are legal or illegal based on the state of who brings the suit.
I understand that nation-wide injunctions have some inherent flaws, but the alternative is a piecemeal way of stopping an Executive branch that decides to push an illegal action.
So, legality of a Federal action depend on what state you live in.

Say that a Fed. Judge in a Massachusetts district puts an injunction on the Birthright citizenship and another in a Texas district does not.
That means children born in Massachusetts would be citizens and children born in Texas would not be?

One thing I know about law is that statutory interpretation by judges aims to avoid ambiguity. This opinion by SCOTUS is ambiguous. The law isn't meant to confuse you or provide uncertainty that's what these Justices did with this ruling and that's why it cannot be a legal/sound reasoning (ratio decidendi) used in coming up with the opinion. Judiciary interpretation anywhere in the world aims to avoid ambiguity but this opinion didn't. It's meant to usher in chaos and uncertainty just as intended that's why I told feedthenation, that Felon 47 as he calls him, understood the language SCOTUS spoke even though we all know that Orange Mussolini is lying. It's a nakedly partisan ruling and believe me you, these people are destroying their own power and history will not be kind to them.

Just like I advised Cococandy, get your passport ready and jet out when necessary. Things are only going to get a lot worse and don't even count on the Midterm elections and 2028.

You people are quite naive, Felon 47, unconstitutional analysis is the opinion of this Court, they know how to communicate with themselves and they have told him time and again that they will defer to him and not stop him. This Supreme Court will overturn Birthright citizenship and tell us that it only applied to children of the enslaved and not anymore. The majority opinion was loads of rubbish.
