Well To answer your question. Yes I would.

He’s smart. Sounds educated. Understands what it means to care about other populations that are not in the same community as himself. My politics would align with his which means that we won’t have topics that are forbidden in the house.

Some people and their significant others don’t talk about politics because they don’t align. So to avoid tension, they skirt around important issues that can affect how they raise their kids. If I can see it, I’m sure other women can see it too.

I hope that succinctly answers your question.

It’s unfortunately still legal in many states because there’s no national law precisely banning it. So parents are expected to use their discretion when giving permission and also up to the jurisdiction of the court.

If a child under 18 wants to get married and their parents refuse, they may not be able to get married. If the parents agree, then the court can review the circumstances and decide if to grant the marriage or not. But get this, most of them can’t get a divorce until they are 18. Is that not madness?

A country that hasn’t outrightly banned child marriage in all states is busy staying distracted by useless culture wars. Is that not the height of misplaced priorities?
