An old acquaintance of mine married into the family of one these republican loud mouths on here (not saying which one but he knows himself). He himself has been in the US a while and I’m sure he’s a citizen. Any kids he has are definitely citizens as well. All possible because he lived under a system that wanted to value all humans equally. I guess he hated that so much he decided to vote against it.
Got up and pulled the ladder out from under the new climbers.

But my girlie? She’s new to the US and under this new system they’re seeking, any kids she has won’t have American citizenship. Thereby subjecting them to the torture and harassment they’ve been giving non-citizens in recent times. I hope she can look at her BIL in the face and tell him what she thinks of him and his political views.

It's crazy to be an immigrant and be washed up in far right ideology. It's bonkers. Many Nigerians are MAGA and it's unsurprising after all look at their elected leaders.

The irony about everything is that Hispanics are the ones suffering the most brunt from of their electoral choice. More than a 3rd of them now regret voting Trump.

They thought they were being smart but this thing has back fired severely and it doesn’t look like it would slow down under Trump.

If the SCOTUS rules to end birthright citizenship then it would be from frying pan to fire for Hispanics especially. A ruling against birthright citizenship will have generational consequences for Hispanics. I feel other non-white minorities will navigate their way around.

After that ruling they should deport all Cubans.

This SCOTUS has never taken up a case challenging precedent that they didn't end up overturning. They should have ignored this case and enforced the lower court ruling but believe me when I tell you that they are considering siding with that Orange. Infact they will. The question being brought before the Court has no basis, wanting to entertain this by having over 4 votes in favor of hearing this case is absolutely wild.
