WE ARE READY FOR YOUR MEDIA PROPAGANDA
BY OSCAR LEE
(FOR FAMILY WRITER)

Just as we have been expecting it the media war between the Republic of Biafra and Nigerian just began following the search for fresh evidence to indict the Leader and Director of Radio Biafra Nnamdi Kanu by the men of the DSS get more interesting as they have confined through all the channels of publications like Sahara Reporters, Premium Times and The Nation to propagate false information against him in other to generate hatred from the well meaning Biafrans who have built hope and trust for the Leader who has been in the DSS facility for some months now despite meeting court requirement for bail.

The recent, in the false propaganda against him was the latest article making wave published by the Department of State Security( DSS) in the above listed newspapers that there collaboration between Mr.Chidiebere Onwuduwe the former Biafra land coordinator for the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB)who is now at large according them and the Field Maintenance Engineer of MTN telecommunication mast Mr. David Nwawusi to install transmitters on the said mast across Enugu and Anambra State, which will help in the wider coverage for the transmission of Radio Biafra broadcast in Nigeria to favor Nnamdi Kanu, and that he Nnamdi was arrested in his hotel room alongside one lady with all his broadcasting equipment set for use and one would readily ask if all the evidence mentioned was there then why all this waste of time by DSS in prosecuting him since he was arrested? According to a source close to the Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra states in the words of Nnamdi Kanu that is better for him to die in detention than to beg for amnesty or forgiveness from Mohammed Buhari but only the truth can set him free and he is ready to fight it to the later than to betrayal the trust of millions of Bifarans including those who lost their lives in the course of the struggle.

So the Leadership of indigenous people of Biafra has taken note of this media propaganda by the compromised zoo media/journalist and wish to state that all the evidence against its leader in the fresh count is neither here nor there as it is a mere accusation and means to divert the attention of Nigerian population from the incompetence of the Mohammed Buhari administration which has been saddled with corruption barely six months of its inauguration and the countless attack of people by the men of the Islamist group Boko Haram in many part of the Northern Nigeria which his government has lost sight on how to combat , and it will be unlawful for any individual to point accusing finger because the government through its numerous agents of destruction lost the case against the Leader of Indigenous people of Biafra the very day justice Mohammed Diri washed his hands off the case.

And on this note we are advising the Nigerian government to shamelessly as a matter of urgency release Nnamdi Kanu from detention for no amount of intimidation by both the military and the police will kill the Biafran spirit as we enter into 2016 the protest will take a new dimension and we are calling on all Biafran serving in any of the security forces to take a close look of what is going on at the River Niger head bridge of their FATHER LAND BIAFRA and advised themselves now that is not too late to cry when the head is off.

The power struggle between the Nigerian government, the DSS and the state of the rising Sun Biafra is yet to be over and has taken a new dimension with Biafra filing a fresh case against the Nigerian government in the court for unlawful detention of their director and Leader of the indigenous people of Biafra and damages against the people Biafra to be heard on the 29th of Dec 2015,The information reaching us indicates that though the Leader of the indigenous people Biafra will not be appearing in the court himself but his counsel had perfected all plans to represent him in court on the said date.

It could be recalled that both the magistrate and high courts all in Abuja had previously on many occasion discharge him on not enough evidence against him and therefore his continuous detention is an infringement on his right of freedom of movement but due to lack of respect for human right in Nigeria the government refused to released him which is a blow to the rule of law and a slap to the judicial system in the most populous black African nation. The most recent one was when in the full gleam of the court the presiding judge justice Mohammed Diri washed his hands off the case and asked for the case to be resigned to another judge which comes as a surprised to Nigerians and Nigerian government as a whole and notwithstanding Mohammed Buhari lead government through his numerous agent of destruction is still bent of putting him in Jail and had gone further to compromised some judges from the south-East with sum of one hundred million Naira through Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, since the first and second judges who were appointed over the case refused to be bought over with money surprisingly they were Yoruba and Hausa respectively and it brings to mind what morality and ethics means to them in their highly honored profession as the custodians of the rule of law.

We are calling on all Human Right Organization locally and internationally, the International Community, and all lovers of freedom of movement and expression to turn their search light to Nigerian as the case will prove to them the high level of inhuman treatment been melted out to Nigerians whom some of them has been killed in cold blood by men of SARS with no trace of their corpse till date. The IPOB is a peaceful minded organization in search of freedom and therefore deserved the right to protest as it enshrined in the constitution of the federal republic without any undue influence.

FROM OKEY SAMPSON, ABA
Members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) celebrated this year’s Christmas on the streets of Aba as they protested the continued detention of the director of Radio Biafra and leader of the IPOB by the federal government.
The protesters had as early as 7.00am gathered at National High School on Port Harcourt Road from where they marched through Cemetery to Azikiwe roads before they proceeded towards the city’s main motor park en-route to Osisioma junction.
They displayed the Biafran flag and sang solidarity songs as they marched along.
Speaking to Sunday Sun during the protest, the coordinator of MASSOB in Abia State, Comrade Anayochukwu Okpala said the protest was against the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu by the federal government despite a valid court order that granted him bail.
Okpala said the federal government would be making a big mistake if it thinks by detaining Nnamdi Kanu for so long the protests would wane with time.
He assured that what he termed the mother of protests would be carried out in the state after the festivities and warned security agents in the state to steer clear of their members during such protests, stressing that the only remedy would be to release Nnamdi Kanu from detention.

PoliticsHausa-fulani Soldiers On Rampage Against Igbo & South-south Xmas Returnees by ambac2bust(op): 11:34am On Dec 28, 2015
(Onitsha Nigeria, 28th December 2015)- Carefully planned war-like events going on at the Onitsha Niger Bridgehead have clearly revealed that the Hausa-Fulani segment of the Nigerian Army have declared a Second Civil War against the Igbo Ethnic Nationality of Nigeria and their South-south counterparts; particularly millions of Xmas returnees. Their sacred rights to ancestral homeland and ethnic identity are under intense threat. It is historically unheard of that a people of innocent background and character, returning to their ancestral homes for special seasonal feast like Xmas; are blocked and made to suffer and suffocate few miles to their ancestral homes. In the instant case, new born children and their nursing mothers as well as elderly people and children, etc are made to undergo excruciating pains and hardships with many sleeping inside their vehicles and by bush sides. Perishable food and domestic items worth millions of naira are also lost.
Recall that on 2nd and 17th December 2015, a total of 25 innocent citizens were killed at the same Onitsha Niger Bridge by the same Hausa-Fulani soldiers attached to the 302 Artillery Regiment of the Nigerian Army, Onitsha led by an Hausa-Fulani born Army officer, Col Issah Abdullahi. Over 40 innocent citizens were also critically injured following live bullets targeted at them and shot at close range. The two butcheries resulted to instant death of 21 innocent citizens while four others shot at the chest, head and abdomen regions of their bodies died later in hospital as a result of deadly injuries sustained. In the 2nd December killings, 13 innocent citizens were shot dead and over 20 sustained deadly gunshot wounds. At the Multicare Hospital alone, 14 critically shot citizens were admitted, out of which, four died. And in the 17th December killings, 8 innocent citizens were murdered by soldiers and 20 others sustained deadly gunshot injuries, out of which, 13 were admitted at the Multicare Hospital alone.
As if these were not enough, the Hausa-Fulani soldiers of the same 302 Regiment had since Wednesday, 23rd December 2015, blocked the Onitsha Niger Bridgehead and deliberately subjected the Igbo and South-south Xmas returnees to excruciating pains and hardships under the guise of checking and spotting members of IPOB and MASSOB; to the extent that livestock and perishable food items worth millions of naira were lost. On Thursday, 24th December 2015, our field team that visited the Bridgehead to see the sore goings on; spoke to some owners of the livestock and perished food items off the Bridge and at their offloading joints along Atani Road in Ogbaru LGA, over 200 dead chickens and baskets of rotten food items were counted; all lost to suffocation following excruciating traffic jams created by the Hausa-Fulani soldiers.
In another field trip yesterday, 27th December 2015, at the Niger Bridgehead led by our Board Chairman, which took place between 2.32pam and 4.05pm, the Onitsha end of the Bridgehead was deliberately and completely blocked by the Hausa-Fulani soldiers, obviously acting under firm directives of the duo of Col Issah Abdullahi, Commander of the Onitsha Army Regiment and the GOC of 82nd Division of the Nigerian Army, Brig Gen Ibrahim Attahiru. The trip also included a visit to hospitals where some victims of the Onitsha Niger Bridgehead Army shooting were receiving treatments.
The same soldiers’ blockage was the case at the Asaba end of the same Bridge. Yet, major reason given by the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force for embarking on the shooting and killing spree at the same Niger Bridge on 2nd and 17th December 2015, against pro Biafran peaceful protesters was falsely laid on “blockage of the important Bridge linking Southeast and South-south with the rest of Nigeria.” The carefully planned Second Civil War at the Niger Bridgehead totally marks itself out with other military checkpoints across the country where all forms of deliberate traffic jams are totally eliminated. To crown it all, most, if not all the soldiers stationed at the Onitsha Niger Bridgehead are soldiers of Hausa-Fulani extraction, who are imbued with chronic hatred of the Igbo Ethnic Nationality. Their positioning at the Niger Bridgehead is further accompanied with compound hatred (hate directive from their commanders and tribal hatred).
This explains our firm position that Second Civil War is ongoing at the Onitsha Niger Bridgehead. We wish to draw the attention of the international community concerning the ongoing persecution of the Igbo Ethnic Nationality by the Buhari administration in Nigeria; using carefully selected hate or xenophobia elements within the Nigerian Army. It also appears that Governor Willie Obiano as the Chief Security Officer of Anambra State is overpowered by orders from above; rendering him gubernatorially castrated and forcing him into unceremonious relocation to his Aguleri Home; from where he washes helplessly his own people being tormented and threatened and punished for belonging to Igbo Ethnic Nationality of Nigeria and for daring to visit their sacred homes this Xmas season. No sensible, capable and competent Governor folds his hands and watches his people returning for seasonally important feast like Xmas; being made to sleep by bush sides or inside their vehicles for many hours, if not whole day; few miles to their ancestral homes. This is the greatest threat against their rights to ethnic identity, existence and social development and cohabitation; enshrined and recognized in the 1999 Constitution and the African Charter on Human & Peoples Rights of 1981 (domesticated by Nigeria in 1983).
We enjoin all lovers of democracy in Nigeria and all over the world to call on the Government of Muhammadu Buhari to, as a matter of uttermost immediacy, pull its Hausa-Fulani dominated soldiers out of the Onitsha Niger Bridgehead. The Bridge must also be decongested so as to allow for free flow of traffic for innocent citizens of Southeast and South-south zones making their Xmas trips. No Ethnic Nationality, no matter how small or perceived weak; will tolerate being chased into its ancestral homes, killed, tortured or enslaved with impunity.
The Government of Muhammadu Buhari is dangerously pushing the Igbo Ethnic Nationality to the wall. Yesterday, it was open and unprovoked mass shooting and killing of their innocent sons and daughters for exercising non violently and peacefully their constitutional and treaties’ rights; and today, their sons and daughters returning home from across the world are again being threatened, questioned and punished for belonging to their generational ancestries.
When John De Baptism was shouting in the wilderness and the land of the living about the coming and birth of Jesus Christ, he was thought to be a fool and messenger of falsehood; yet, from AD 01 till date, his prophecy had long come to pass. We have spoken!

PoliticsNnamdi Kanu's Case Adjourned To December 1 by ambac2bust(op): 6:57pm On Nov 23, 2015
The Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday requested a Wuse Zone 2 Senior
Magistrates’ Court in Abuja to discontinue trial of Nnamdi Kanu, Director of Radio Biafra,
charged with criminal conspiracy. Kanu is standing trial on a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, intimidation and belonging to unlawful society, to which he pleaded not guilty.
At the resumed sitting of the case, prosecution counsel, Moses Idakwo, informed the court that
after the arraignment of the accused, the complainant stumbled on some facts which took
the matter out of the jurisdiction of the court. According to him, the complainant found out that the accused was involved in terrorism and has been financing it. “The complainant is, therefore, applying to
discontinue the matter under section 108(1) of administration of criminal justice act 2015.’’ Idakwo said that the DSS had also obtained an order from the Federal High Court, Abuja, dated Nov.10, to detain the accused in its custody for 90 days.
Objecting, Kanu’s counsel, Vincent Obetta, prayed the court not to discontinue the case because the prosecution did not present any information from the Attorney-General of Federation who had the authority to approve such. Obetta told the court that the DSS violated the order of the court which granted bail that was perfected but not granted, adding that the accused had been in DSS custody since he was arrested. Subsequently, the magistrate, Mr Usman Shuaibu, after listening to both counsels,
adjourned the matter until Dec.1 for ruling.

…Orders that no Biafran should attend the purported meeting called by Gov. Okorocha.
The Supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, who also doubles as the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, currently being extra-judicially detained by the Department of State Security (DSS), is hale and hearty and in very high spirit.

We can report authoritatively that Nnamdi Kanu is being treated by the DSS as a “delicate and complex” (VIP) prisoner of conscience.
Our team after several attempts was able to meet with the radical leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra at the facility where he is being held against his wish.
He was beaming with smiles upon seeing our team and was as undaunted and fired-up as ever. He was completely in the dark as to the protest going on as a result of his arrest. But when he was briefed he said it was in line with his thought and urged that hell should be let loosed.

He admitted that he has been well respected and treated by the detectives. He is being detained in an average hotel room size kind of cell, fitted with air conditioner; fan and television set that shows only Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) station. His meals according to him were tested by the person(s) serving them before he eats and that he takes only bottled water from NBC, which the men of DSS corroborated later in our conversation with them.

From our interaction with some of the DSS operatives, they accepted the fact that the bail conditions have been met but maintained that they needed to authenticate the title documents presented whether or not they were genuine, insisting that they would have to cross-check with Ministry of Housing. When we impressed on them that they should have long done the cross checking given the nature and caliber of the detainee and the interest it is generating, they then asked us if we can facilitate their going to the Ministry of Housing which we obliged.

But reading them in between the lines, we deduced that their refusal to release him as granted by the Magistrate court was clearly deliberate, for there is no question about the documents presented with respect to his bail being genuine or not. They are ostensibly delaying his release till 18th of November when the case is expected to come up at the same court in other for them to press more (grievous) charges against him which the Magistrate court as an inferior court will lack jurisdiction to entertain and thus remanding him in prison custody.

The lawyer handling the matter having sensed the permutations of the DSS has proceeded to file a case at the ECOWAS court.
We must report, however, that there has been a high powered meeting going on between the Nigerian authorities and Nnamdi Kanu with iKanu rebuffing all cards placed on the table insisting that any entreaty that is not centered on Biafra restoration is dead on arrival.
The British government in spite of their make-believe press statement are also concerned about the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, who despite having dual citizenship is still their citizen, as the British High Commissioner to Nigeria and his team visited him on Monday, details of their discussion which we are not permitted to report remains reassuring and gladdening. A delegation from the United States government will be meeting with him on Thursday. The pressure from a certain British MP is unsettling the British government and making her act in Nnamdi Kanu’s favour.

When told about the plans by the Governor of Imo state, Chief Rochas Okorocha to convene a meeting of all interest groups over the protest, he got infuriated uncontrollably not minding the presence of the DSS operatives and pronounced death upon any Biafran that attends such meeting. He said that Governor Okoroawusa is a sworn enemy of the Biafran people and that Biafrans should not be equally yoked with him.
He informed that the Nigerian state is panicking, that they had come to him repeatedly, urging him that they will allow him to speak to his group to stop whatever they were doing but he refused not knowing that it was because of the protest. He thus thundered that as the Commander in Chief of the Biafran Armed Forces that the protest should be intensified ten times over. He said he is unshaken and very confident of the leadership he left behind, that they will not disappoint him and the Biafra course. When he was informed about the casualty figure he was sober and pursued for a while, but vowed that for every blood of innocent Biafrans spilled that Nigeria will pay in ten folds. He paid tributes to those killed in Onitsha and Igweocha (Port Harcourt) and urged that those injured should be given all the care necessary. He also called for support for the protesting troops.
Our team left him some hours ago, he was full of life and in high spirit.

PoliticsAre These Biafrans Causing Sleepless Nights To Nigerians? by ambac2bust(op): 4:43pm On Aug 27, 2015
THE growing clamour for independent Biafran state in the Eastern region and the menace of the radio Biafra is giving the federal
government concerns as the Arewa Consultative Forum has accused Igbo leaders of fanning the embers of war and secession.

As a result of the increasing agitations for an
independent state of Biafra mainly in the South East geopolitical zone in recent times, some political leaders in the zone have expressed their views on why the quest for Biafra has remained strong and ways of addressing it.

They also point to the fundamental right of individuals or groups to air their grievances.

Pro-Biafran groups such as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, which is operating the intractable Radio Biafra, as well as the Chief Ralph Uwazurike’s Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) and Biafra Zionist Movement (BZM) led by Barr Benjamin Onwuka have intensified campaigns aimed at mobilizing mass support for the Biafra project.

Over the weekend, more than 6,000 members of
MASSOB marched in the streets of Asaba, Delta
State capital with placards demanding Biafra
freedom from Nigeria.

The protesters had revealed that MASSOB now runs a radio station, website cable television network and has secured a meeting place at Oneh Primary School, Asaba where they will be holding their meetings every Sunday as from 2pm.

This is even as Radio Biafra anchored by the IPOB leader, Mr. Kanu has, after being temporarily jammed by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), returned to the airwaves in the South East and some parts of the South-South.

Speaking on the progress of the station, Mr. Kanu boasted of its followership, while promising that Biafra TV will equally be in the offing soon.

“Radio Biafra’s listenership indisputably remains
awesome and continues to grow. In order to live up to the promise of making Radio Biafra signal
ubiquitous – being in any and every platform
imaginably possible for greater reach and easy
access for humanity, Radio Biafra has once again re-launched itself on shortwave frequency. The kick-off is scheduled to tally with the debut of Biafra Television in this Month of August 2015,” he said in a statement made available to Saving Grace Reporters.

“In fact, any moment from now or as you read this message, Radio Biafra will be making history by her august launch of the “Monster” Shortwave broadcasting as promised by Director Nnamdi Kanu.”

“Interestingly,” he continued, “Shortwave radio is used for long distance communication by means of skywave or skips propagation, in which the radio waves are reflected or refracted back to Earth from the ionosphere, allowing communication around the curve of the Earth.

“As a result, shortwave radio is used for
broadcasting of voice and music, and long-distance communication to ships and aircraft, or to remote areas out of reach of wired communication or other radio services.”

Meanwhile, various Igbo leaders have attributed
the growing quest for self determination to the
perpetual marginalization of the South East in the Nigerian affairs, insisting that platforms like Radio Biafra is one of the ways people are voicing their discontent with the situation.

“The issue of this Radio Biafra is about
marginalization of the South East; it is about the
South East being voiceless; it is about South East not being recognized in the Nigerian context by the successive governments of the country. Jonathan’s government did not even do better for the zone. Go and look at the amount of money he spent in the various zones of the country, South East is the least.

In some cases, four times less. You see the quest
for Biafra nation and the broadcast is to tell Nigeria that South East exists, and it is a civil protest because they are not carrying arms. And therefore, the radio station should be legalized and its content regulated,” explained Chief Anselm Njoku, the leader of Igbo APC Lagos.

He added, “NBC should legalize it and regulate it so that they can talk about their people; talk about what they want. It is only when you have a way of ventilating your grievance that that grievance will not get combusted into crisis.

“If you are disallowed from expressing your
grievance, this grievance will get combusted in you and by the time it explodes, it becomes crisis, it becomes war. So any section of the country that has any grievance to air should be allowed to air it in whatever medium, in as much as they are not violent and when you see such a situation, you call them and dialogue with them. What we would disagree with is a resort to violence. But there is nothing in the conduct of those agitating for Biafra that suggests they are violent or want to use violence the way Boko Haram has used violence over the years to kill human beings.

In his own remarks, one time governorship
aspirant in Lagos State, Barr Okechukwu Okoroji insisted that those behind Radio Biafra have not hurt anyone and there should not be clamped down on them.

“I do not think the agitators for Biafra have killed anyone; I don’t know of anybody they have bombed, I don’t know of any region they have destroyed. So they need to be listened to, they may have legitimate demands; it is not just enough to clamp them down, because the truth is that you can suppress an idea but not one whose time has come. If the time has come for the idea that these people are talking about, you can only delay it; you cannot stop it,” Okoroji said.

“One is not by any means supporting insurgency, or dismemberment of the country, but justice must be done to all… regions; all people and all religious groups. If there are internal injustices, people will naturally agitate. And it is their constitutional right to agitate, forget about the nomenclature, whether it is called Biafra or it is called Oduduwa Republic
or whatever. Those are mere nomenclatures in the mode of agitation. But I don’t think they have done anything unconstitutional so far to deserve any criminalization. Their demands should be looked into in the interest of Nigeria,” he concluded.

Also speaking, a chieftain of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) in the South East, Mr. Abia Onyike noted that the quest for self determination was a fundamental human right and warned the Nigerian state against any further attempts to denigrate the Igbo nation.

“The quest for self determination is an inalienable right, and there is a specific provision in the United Nations Charter on Human and Peoples Rights which embodies in it that no human being or group should be oppressed to the extent that they are denied basic political rights. It has become eminently self evident in the Nigerian case that the Igbo people have been earmarked for not only extermination but also not to be allowed to be in charge of their own affairs,” he said.

“And you are talking about one of the 10 largest
ethnic groups in the world. The Igbo ethnic
nationality is large and substantial; it has enormous influence in the world. Any plans of emasculating and liquidating the Igbo; or marginalizing them, these are the things that give rise to the struggle for self determination, Onyike explained.

“I mean, it is a natural instinct. Even if you want to kill somebody, the person must struggle before being killed. It is natural. The rise in self
determination struggle; the resurgence goes to
demonstrate that the Igbo have not been integrated into the Nigerian state. And the way the leaders of Nigeria, especially the Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba hegemony have been behaving towards them shows that they want to enslave them, and as far as you continue to play politics of enslavement, they will continue to react; they will continue to revolt against it and the idea of Biafra will continue to be very popular among them,”

“And like I said before, the Igbo are very large
group, not minding the national population census that has always been fraudulent and used as a strategy for exercising political hegemony. They don’t want to be scientific; they come with the politics of oppressing the Igbo ethnic nationality through census. But the actual population of the Igbo presently is about 75 million which makes it larger than the population of any other existing independent African country, including Ethiopia which is the highest after Nigeria.

He warned that, “It is thus foolhardy and very
stupid for the Nigerian rulers to continue their old ways because the way it is now, you cannot oppress and pocket the Igbo and have peace in Nigeria. This is the point we are making because it is more than 10 times qualified to be an independent country. So we should not be relying on what Britain did over 100 years ago. It is no longer realistic. If you don’t want the Igbo, you grant them independence. Let them be on their own. In terms of territory, language, population, location and economic resources available, they are viable to become an independent nation. You cannot oppress them the way you want to oppress ethnic minorities. The leaders have to stop their primitive tactics of trying to oppress the Igbo otherwise there would be no peace in Nigeria.”

Also speaking on the resurgent of Biafra, Chief
Udoka Udeogaranya, leader Igbo Cultural Society of Nigeria re-echoed Onyike’s assertion, noting that the UN had recognized people’s right to self determination.

“The United Nations has recognized the people’s
right to self determination. Therefore, if any group of persons feels that their rights are not being protected by their government, they have a right to demand for self determination,” he said.

“It would come to a point when such would be
decided in a referendum. Where people will have to decide for themselves whether they want a separate state or not, it was done in Scotland and the Scots decided to remain in Britain, that is the thing,” he stressed.

Meanwhile the Arewa Consultative Forum has
lashed out at Igbo leaders and accused them of
supporting the clamour for separatist Biafra and
war. Ibrahim Coomasie, chairman of the national
executive council said that it is disturbing and
worrisome that the renewed clamour for Biafra,
adding that the case of Biafra was settled in 1970.

Bilie Human Rights Initiative Has No Mandate And As Such Does Not Represent The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB)

It is interesting that Bilie Human Rights Initiative (herein after BHRI) backed by practising barrister(s) will choose when to act in accordance with the law and when not to.We continue to remind you that an agreement signed under the law was blatantly breached by BHRI and its lawyers and they turned around to cry foul.It is also important to remind you that the EDICTS of the ‘Supreme Council of Elders’ was and is the exclusive machination and arrangement of operators of BHRI and NOT BASED ON THE BROAD BASED CONSULTATION AND AUTHORISATION OF THE PEOPLE OF BIAFRA AND SO ONLY A HANDFUL OF THOSE WHO ARE THEIR MEMBERS AND THOSE WHO SUBSCRIBE TO THEIR METHOD ARE BOUND.
The question then is: where does the ‘Council of Elders’ got their mandate? From a Human Rights organisation called BHRI or the Indigenous People of Biafra?Who constituted the Customary court? The records are there. You see, it is better that you have a deep breath and look for a way of rectifying the BUNDLE ILLEGALITY that BHRI is and has been presiding over.If you want to practice law, practice it in all its ramifications.
The usual quote ”No pro-Biafra activists or groups under the authority of Bilie Human Rights Initiative and the Supreme Council of Elders has ever been arrested, molested…..”, is laughable and most insincere in the strictest sense. First and by this, you have already identified that there are pro-Biafra activists or groups under the ‘authority’ of BHRI and her ‘Supreme Council of Elders'(not the Council of Elders of IPOB) and there are those who are not.Now as a rational being, why not leave those who are not under your authority alone to go about their activities? This is because you got it wrong in the first place when you insisted that Biafra can only be restored via LEGAL means and no other method thereby excluding others who do not believe in your legal method or to say the least who believe that all options must be on the table. It is bizarre to insist that independence can only be achieved through the law court even when every available
records in history of nationhood suggest
otherwise.Since you limit yourselves you cannot limit others and you cannot constitute an obstacle on the way of others (you cannot force people to come under ‘BHRI and the Supreme Council of Elders’).Doing so as you can imagine amounts to direct provocation and nobody will want to witness the consequences of that.
Furthermore, when you say that nobody has been arrested as a result of BHRI being in court (with its members and truly not on behalf of every Indigenous Biafran) for you can only represent those who are your members, it then begs the question which is: how can you or anybody be arrested by the Nigeria government where you observe, and pay allegiance to Nigerian constitution and adhere and obey the Nigerian law to the letter? Since you obey Nigerian law, why then are you claiming to be FIGHTING OR ADVOCATING FOR BIAFRA? How can Nigerian government arrest or molest you where in fact and indeed you have literally you have not broken any of her laws. Can’t you see that there is something fundamentally wrong with ‘justice obtained against the TRUTH’ ( Ikpe mara eziokwu na aka azu di ya)? Simple and direct, what you are doing is not freedom fighting because Independence cannot and has never been achieved via the court albeit via the oppressor’s court.
Again, to continue to feed your followers with incorrect legal information is a mark of irresponsibility and indeed it is for those who are card carrying members of BHRI and not for the Indigenous People of Biafra as a people. The truth is that there is body of principles or laws in international law.In other words, there is no codified principles or rules called ‘international Law’ for people to obey. What you have there are state practices or customs and treaties(which binds the signatories only) and of course the UN security council resolutions(enforced mostly through the use of force) and, expert legal opinions of jurists and legal scholars and the decisions of the international court of Justice (herein after ICJ) (these decisions are for disputes between independent states brought before the court). The conduct of states in international relations or system is not as a result of law but as a matter of choice and indeed on the ‘permanent interests’
of states. Rosalyn Higgins(a renowned
international jurist in her book: Problems and process, international and how we use it) clearly stated that ‘international law is not rules. It is a normative system.’ The support for Biafra like any other can only be got through a combination of factors which are many of politics and choice of states among others. The next question therefore is: who can bring a case before the International Court of Justice(ICJ)?
And here are the answers:
Only States are eligible to appear before the Court in contentious cases. At present, this basically means the 192 United Nations Member States.
”The Court has no jurisdiction to deal with applications from individuals, non-governmental organizations, corporations or any other private entity. It cannot provide them with legal counselling or help them in their dealings with the authorities of any State whatever. However, a State may take up the case of one of its nationals and invoke against another State the wrongs which its national claims to have suffered at the hands of the latter; the dispute then becomes one between States.” (available at:http://www.icj-cij.org/information/index.php?p1=7&p2=2) .
As can be seen above, only an independent state/Country can take BHRI’s case against Nigeria to the ICJ as BHRI including its ‘Council of Elders’ has no right to TAKE NIGERIA TO THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE(ICT).The case is already dead on the grounds and questions of merit and admissibility.Nigeria, which you obey its constitution and laws and who is incidentally and bizarrely your oppressor definitely cannot take itself to the ICJ. Only an independent country can take your case to the ICJ and the question again is: how do you get this country to support you? The answer lies in the sphere of INTERNATIONAL POLITICS and MANOEUVRING and not in the COURT OF YOUR OPPRESSOR, NIGERIA. Furthermore, BHRI and its ‘SUPREME COUNCIL OF ELDERS’ and their followers are indeed Nigerians in fact and indeed who obey the Nigerian law and therefore coming out to the world to announce that they are freedom fighters and agitators for Biafra makes mockery of the Biafra
Independence struggle.You do not
confront Nigeria, you do not break any law by going to court to literally beg, you are merely making a legal argument which the Nigerian court is ever ready to continue to entertain till eternity and to use it to exercise their minds for legal researchers and scholars among them and indeed among legal researchers of BHRI. Biafra does not want research(enough has been researched on her), she wants freedom fighters for her liberation. It wants raw political process to drive this home simple!
Finally and put succinctly, the case that BHRI is pursuing against the Nigerian government is fundamentally flawed in every ramifications and BHRI is definitely NOT REPRESENTING THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA AS A PEOPLE, IT IS BASICALLY, IF ANYTHING, REPRESENTING THOSE BIAFRANS WHO ARE THEIR MEMBERS AND THE ‘SUPREME COUNCIL OF ELDERS’ IS SOLELY FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNDER BHRI AS A HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION.
It may also interest everyone who cares to note that Ezu River incidence happened under the direct watch of BHRI and her Supreme Council of Elders, the continuous bombing and slaughtering our Biafran brethrens in Nigeria are and have been taking place under the watchful eyes of BHRI, The socalled ELDERS OF BHRI are represented at jamboree called NATIONAL CONFERENCE but nobody has heard them spoke out about the killings our people and indeed Biafra Indepence. and so on.If BHRI and her supreme council of elders are defending the Biafran people, the question is: how many cases have they prosecuted on behalf of Biafrans? How many BOKO HARAM bomb victims and their families have BHRI obtained justice for? Have they obtained justice for the Ezu River victims and what are they doing about it? You see, men in BHRI and her Council of elders are always looking for easy way out and riding on the back of others to achieve publicity which are purely self-centred. Come
out and make sacrifice for Biafra freedom.. Freedom is not given, it is taken.Biafrans and the world are watching and very soon will know who is who.

PoliticsB-R-E-A-K-I-N-G!! Why Buhari Wont Probe IBB, Abacha, Obasanjo, Only Jonathan. by ambac2bust(op): 3:42pm On Jul 23, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari have announced that he will not probe past administrations of Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha and others, but only be probing the Goodluck Jonathan's administration.
Buhari as a military man, was directly involved in Obasanjo's military regime, where he was indicted of stealing $2.8Billion at NNPC boss. The money was later reported to be traced to his United Kingdom bank accounts in Midland Bank. This discovery lead Buhari group to overthrew the Shagari's government to avoid prosecution and jail term.
President Buhari was also involved in the Abacha's government, referred as the most corrupt Nigerian government, as the Chairman of the PTF. That was the reason he said that Abacha was not corrupt, as he is aware that a corrupt Abacha will surely lead to a corrupt Buhari.
PTF misappropriated over N219Billion through Buhar's use of relatives and Friends as Consultants. The Acting INEC chairman was involved in those rogue, AfriProject, that defrauded Nigeria Billions of Naira on PTF Jobs.
For sure, Muhammadu Buhari will not probe himself as he was part of Obasanjo and Abacha military governments and he have huge financial questions to answer in any independent probe panel.
Buhari added that he will not probe the Yar'adua's government, as majority of the Cabal in Yar'adua's government are sponsors of his campaign and the arrow-heads of his present administration.
He reaffirmed that he is ready to probe Dr Goodluck Jonathan who is the first outsider or a non Military or Hausa Fulani man to rule Nigeria. In the last 2 weeks, Buhari have been arresting some officers that worked with the immediate past President, trying to get information under duress from them and have not succeeded in establishing any charge or charges against them.
The CSO to former President Jonathan who was detained in an underground facility passed out early in the week, but was revived in the hospital and no charges was established against him.
Nigerians supports President Muhammadu Buhari in his quest to fight corruption, but selective justices and witch-hunting as is currently executing, will not tolerated.
If Buhari is only interested in probing the immediate government, therefore, he should start with Okorocha, Aregbesola, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Atiku, El'Rufai, Tinubu that spent workers salaries on his election campaign.
