But isn't that the duty of him as a pastor ..

As a pastor , you get all that money which you earn from occasional contributions of your congregations termed as offering and tithe but cannot give a common 230k.

Something he would earn back with just one service or one power packed delusional program..
Let's try to always understand a context of things before making an opinion

The church have a visible hierarchy and except there's a divine instruction, every requests should go through this hierarchy

If your requests is found to be genuine, then you can be sure of getting the funds

You're speaking too many grammar that doesn't hold water. Imagine going through those lengthy processes when he needed the help urgently. Honestly,if the church can't help it's members in their Time of need,I don't think there's any reason for such members to continue worshipping in that church at all.
So you fit just see your governor today and ask for help immediately and he would do it??

Nigerians are the most fuulish sets of individuals in the world

As at the time he was referencing, the church already had millions of members around the world and there would be a channel to request for welfare, except divinely ordained, you don't expect a man of such level to just dish out monies like that

3years is small?
Why didn’t the same church tell the new comers to wait for more than 3years before they start giving tithe and offerings?
Are you going to church to seek help from your Pastor??

Many of una just like to dey yarn dust, that same guy will have a rich uncle who also refused to help him ooo, but he chooses to accuse the Pastor cos na easy target

The fact is as humans, in as much as we want to help a lot of people, we can't help everyone

Sometimes sef I go dey my room dey cry say I suppose don dey help many people sef but me sef need help

Bottom line put your trust in God, Worship him and leave your pastor alone with his own wahala

Omoh you said nothing but the truth, I can't believe APC will be seeking votes from South East. This life na irony omo iyami. But make I ask is it because APC knows the north might not vote him or is it because of ADC ?
Those guys are shameless now

I've always not liked their style of always calling out a region as it doesn't represent the interest of that region

Now they want those who are inconsequential to vote for them, it's that not crazy?

Are you happy with the sluggish development we are witnessing??

Is is funny how the president is banking on these governors who don't even have much goodwill in their domain

Many of them are not even grassroot tested, it's just that the big wigs in their states no get time to dey fight them ni

We saw how wike out muscled fubara just because he has no structure of his own, that's the fate of many of these governors

If the e-transmission is used properly and the opposition doing their grassroot work properly, I don't see the president surviving the hit ooo

I can't understand why he'd so stupïdly say what he said even if he had any evidence that “someone wiretapped” Ribadu’s phone, but the supposed secret police would still need to provide evidence of said wiretapping and El Rufai's involvement for him to have committed this particular crime.

P.s. I'm not up to date with his other alleged crimes, note, and even his suppose embezzlement of Kano's money still needs to be proven.
He has been doing it for long, but because the president knows how harmful it is for him, na why Dem dey catch am

For the first time I totally agree with Reno , if Obi can't guarantee real time transfer in his bank , why tell Nigerians that it is possible for INEC to transmit real time results, when we all know its impossible
So no be 2by2 shop he get again?

And there have been massive improvements in the online banking sector, infact almost every sector now uses a form of online this or that

So why only inec and APC getting afraid?

How can it be free and fair when the only vehicle to make it so is being attacked

If you have ever worked with inec during elections you will know what I'm saying

Even their staffs used to jokingly say in their trainings that the only real results is the one from the polling unit, from the ward level to the national level, there comes the distortions and all manners of magic

Now let's transmit results from polling unit, them say know and you think we would have a free and fair election

It's never gonna work

None of this is to do with jamming transmission. We are not talking about radio signals here.

This us to do with ensuring hopefully encrypted data in transit is not corrupted on any of its journey to the final destination where collation is done.

There is a reason why Western countries, with all their technology, dare not even try it.

It is Nigeria that will start it àbi. Abeg rest with your IT illiteracy pretending to know anything.

My Conclusion:

In case the Senate refuse to bow down to people's agitation, we should not forget that the existing electoral law does not stop INEC from adopting e-transmission. INEC can still go ahead and adopt it for 2027 elections with or without any amendment to the existing law. BTW, kudos to those who replied me without throwing any insults or banters. I love matured and intelligent comments like these. May God bless Nigeria 👍🇳🇬✌️🙏

Okay; it must be MANDATORY. I agree 💯

Let's raise the voice! 🔥💪
Sure it's even the logical thing to do, look at Jamb now, it is utterly impossible to cheat during their exams because they adopt electronic means, no one knows the question before hand, even when you're given the question, there are different multiple questions for each person, we should always try new stuff and see how we can improve on them, in 2027, we should use the electronic transmission is we are ever serious about doing things right
PoliticsRe: Electronic Transmission Of Election Results Must Be Mandatory - NBA To NASS by ambale(m): 4:12pm On Feb 09
LibertyRep:
Methinks the "MANDATORY" makes it 100% compliance
Of course it is but what I'm saying is we can guarantee network in 80-90% places in Nigeria and that's a good start before the election, we can find a way to make sure every polling unit can use network to transmit
PoliticsRe: Real-time Results Or Real-time Chaos For Nigeria? by ambale(m): 4:04pm On Feb 09
So with everyone of you guys shouting am a techie, I'm into tech, still Nigeria is not ready

Your family should be ashamed of you really,.infact you can't even be responsible towards them with this your take

The benefit of having results transmitted real-time is much more than the defects.

But no wahala sha, we understand una master strategist must win 2027 and transmission of votes is really a stumbling block for him😃

You guys are just preparing an alibi to use for your impending loss. You are preparing something to hold on to because you know you guys neither have the popularity non the coverage to win an election anytime soon.
Why then are you against E- transmission of votes??

And don't ever tell us network ooo

The issue here is it has to be mandatory, because all they need to tell us is that network glitch made it impossible to work

But if it's mandatory, you fit to jail sef for subverting the process
PoliticsRe: Adamawa State Governor Set To Decamp To APC by ambale(m): 10:54am On Feb 09
Yet they are still afraid of electronic transmission of votes😄😄😄

This people wise now, they know if they try it henn, everyone of them is gone totally

Even buhari with his ready made supporters nearly got defeated in 2019 when he was trying to ask inec to fix the card readers, na once them jam everything together make baba for win, not to talk of leaders wey no even get any goodwill

LibertyRep:
I think the operational word is MANDATORY.

So what happens in case of network glitch or anything that prevents the transmission? The result is invalid.
There's nothing like a glitch in this matter, once we can have at least 80-90% coverage cos I'm sure villages with zero networks cannot even make up to 30% of the polling units, then we are good to go

It's not about having network, it's about coping with network traffic at a point in time.

We can't afford Obidients having another public meltdown because of a glitch in the system along with another Peter Obi third place and rendering Nairaland unusable again.
Sometimes I don't even blame us for not growing because many people at the helms are very dumb

Infact you would see so many unintelligent takes even in their midst

Cos what is the meaning of what you wrote up there?

From experience, you can jam other networks while you centre the focus on the transmission network, and it's not even a hard thing to do

But make we still dey mumu dey go sha

You have never heard of star link network before...

The excuse Akpabio is giving is not permissible. If results can be transmitted in 90% or at least 80% of the country then it should be given a trial and improved upon with time. It's not compulsory it covers 100%. Laws are supposed to be adaptive to personalized conditions. And room can be made for contingencies.

Akpabio's Senate is just making excuses or just doesn't have the will power to do the electronic transmission thing.

No be juju be that?
God bless you, at least if we can have 80-90% coverage, that's even a huge start

I served in Ebonyi state in Ezza North to be precise just a little less than 10 years ago and I can say authoritatively that there was no single bank in the whole of Ezza North at the time. We had to go to Abaliki before we could make withdrawals. I knew how many kilometers we had to trek just to make a call, we couldn't even receive calls because there were no network. How will REAL TIME transmission of results work in those areas? Or election should not hold in those areas abi?
So, if them ask you no, you go answer say banks dey all local government in Nigeria abi? Dey there.

But POS dey that village?
