nairalanda1: National intelligence agency
It was formed in 1985 by the ibb admin when he split the National Security Organisation, which itself grew out of the Special branch / E department of the Police force into the DSS/SSS and the NIA.
Like the UK's MI6 it is very secretive. Only it's head is known. But it exists
Mnk capture in Kenya was orchestrated by the NIA. And they cannot stop Fulanis from Chad, Niger and all other states from infiltrating the country Plus our leaders wey dey stash funds abroad can't be tracked by them either They are as useless as if they've never existed before |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Countries And Their Foreign Intelligence Agencies by ambale(m): 6:07pm On Jan 07 |
JuanDeDios: DSS works within the country. NIA is foreign intelligence. Pity you don't know they exist. Wait the till the day government means your matter and you run to Ghana or someplace. Yet they can't stop the influx of Terrorists from neighboring countries abi?? Ohh they are just government dogs as the rest 😄 |

Politics › Re: An Election Loser Wants To Help Someone In Rivers – Wike’s Aide Blasts Bashiru by ambale(m): 1:11am On Jan 07 |
Putindbutt: I will never turn my back against Wike. Wike could be very temperamental and seems to have an aggressive approach but do not forget he's a lawyer who picks his fights wisely. Wike hardly fights on the wrong side. Fubara ran into APC for protection, Wike didn't run to Tinubu for protection, he supported Tinubu from day one when everyone else was hiding. He stood by the President gidigba during the hardest period and pulled the chestnut out of the fire. The issue is that Fubara is a very stubborn man, he surrounds himself with enemies of Wike in Rivers State, those who did nothing for him to become Governor. Many of them sitting down with him to share dinner did not even support him during the election but Wike put his life on the line for him. However, since the peace deal was brokered, Fubara has refused to honor the agreements. How can a Governor refuse to work with the state lawmakers and LG chairmen?, how can you run governance alone?. That's the issue Wike has with Fubara. Wike needs nothing from Fubara, he is the FCT minister, he has his own budget, he doesn't need Fubara to get money. When Fubara refused to pay the 27 lawmakers, Wike was responsible for their welfare. He was also carrying PDP until Makinde destroyed everything. Wike's demands is simple, work with the lawmakers and chairmen, if you don't, you won't get a second term.. simple!. How can you ignore those who worked for your election and you dinning with the enemies of your godfather?. I hope when the President comes back, he would talk to Fubara to honour his own side of the agreement otherwise, his second term is at risk. He supported the president by rigging on his behalf abi? They complete ur statement abeg |

If the tracing of the money would be complicated, better to write it off and start afresh with proper monitoring.

Politics › Re: You must produce not tax Your Way Out Of Poverty - Peter Obi by ambale(m): 11:54pm On Jan 02 |
Richtaiwo: I do not, in any way, support this tax regime. However, whenever this neatly packaged fraud called Pitobi opens his mouth to condemn it, I instinctively suspect there must be something beneficial about the tax that we Nigerians are yet to grasp. At that point, I’m forced to pause… and reconsider.
But wait, did I just read the profound wisdom that “you can’t tax yourself out of poverty”? Interesting. Should we then conclude that Nigeria is officially poor? And if so, how does that square with the earlier sermon from the same handle-mops who confidently assured us that Nigeria can conveniently pay every citizen one million naira monthly?
Surely, the handle-mops will soon emerge with another magical explanation, because consistency, as usual, is clearly not part of the brand. What are you blabbing the Agbado Ambassador?? What in that message is not clear enough?? Let Government be transparent, let's produce more, let's build trust and people will organically key into your policies, then you begin giving us sermon 🤣 Alaye that Baki wey you dey take don dey pass your brain ooo🤪 |

Those guys are crooks It's still the president, he's been meddling in state affairs, giving cover to lazy governors and frustrating opposition so they can join him, so how do you ask a president friend to be accountable? |
Politics › Re: Every Minister Knew Fuel Subsidy Was Killing Nigeria — Kemi Adeosun by ambale(m): 11:21pm On Jan 02 |
BondRiv: The states are not properly utilising the funds they are getting. Rivers State is an example, but we will fix that problem in 2027. How do you expect the governors to be up and doing, when the president wants to be emperor general of the country?? He's not allowing them function well with his one party policy, so every lazy governor runs under his umbrella and they are free to do whatever they like |

The day you understand that fact, you complain less and focus on getting to the lonely top. WizardOfNG: You are not serious..I would not expect any other comment from an individual long on unrelenting ethno-religious hatred of others but hideously ignorant and short on knowledge.
I don't know how you and your co-travellers believe you appear before the world when everyone (Lagosians who love the State and are aware of her sordid history before Tinubu) sees and admit an item is white yet only you people (haters incapable of giving Tinubu credit for his globally-acclaimed acclaimed positive transformation of Lagos) insist it is black.
Lagos was a dysfunctional andneglected megacity under Tinubu, 100% verified, the FG had turn it's back on in preference for funnelling all funds into the new poster child of Abuja.
Tinubu worked wonders, with negligible FG financial and/or policy support, to transform Lagos into the 6th biggest economy in Africa. You shame yourself with senseless denial of what many here lived through.

SmartPolician: What can 100k do for men like that in today's Nigeria? That's more like an insult. If you want to buy their loyalty, you must find out what Wike gives them and give them more.
Fubara knows nothing about politics. I hope he's at least doing something about developing Rivers State because I can't remember the last time I read state-sponsored development projects in that state.
Focused countries like Qatar and UAE are using their oil money to build futuristic cities while Rivers politicians are using theirs to play mumu politics. Tomorrow, we will say we didn't develop due to neocolonialism. But 100k is enough for the average man to be taxed to death abi?? You all are insane sincerely |

Infact I'm surprised people are not hitting the streets yet, you can't be looting with this much impunity and all that comes to your mind is to tax the people the more Imagine the level of development in these states and correlate it with the loans, grants, and other financial gains they've gotten and you will feel sorry for the populace |
