''It is surprising hearing that he is been tried for a mere N7 billion.'' Statements like this affirm that this country can never be good esp with the kind of leaders we have now. But someone that steals 500k can be beaten or killed but a politician that embezzles 7Billion is just a mere token. Chai this country is fast loosing it. I can't believe I grew here. |

The system is brewing terrorism gradually... kingsways: I see miscarriage of justice here ..
Is it not the same Court of Appeal that said nomination of candidates is a pre-election matter and a prerogative of the parties?
The most important issue in an election is: who scored the highest number of votes??
Someone whom the people have voted for and who scored the highest number of votes should not be disdqualified based on some flimsy reason as party membership because it's a given that the party would not have sponsored him if he wasnt their member. To disqualify the person who scored the highest number of votes automatically leads to grave injustice because womeone whom the people didnt vote for and who didnt win would be delared the winner |

Be consoling yourself not me. I don't see any good come out of this government. I see people suffer, the suffering hasn't even started. I will remind you later. I hope Nigerians will begin to learn after that suffering that is coming. hotseat: Kudos to the Labour Unions, TUC/NLC for considering national interest above selfish/primordial considerations.
Strikes, though constitutional, should only be resorted to when all available avenues of dispute resolutions have failed.
Given the present economic realities, embarking on a strike action now would only end up inflicting more pains on the average person on the street.
At all, at all naim bad pass.
25k for the next six months would solve some problems, at least.
When the CNG buses eventually arrive and all modalities put in place, most of the transportation difficulties would be reduced.
The challenges of insecurity need to be confronted frontally if the agricultural sector is to have its desired impact in the area of food sufficiency.
With time, not too long from now, things would gradually begin to take shape. |
