Thanks guys for your prompt response, may God continue to bless you guys. I have really gained alot from your contributions. Another question is what if after marriage I do not want her to accompany me immediately because she's still in school, do I have to provide POF for 2 people? Secondly can you guys add me to a group for express entry. Thanks and a happy easter to u guys. NanaF: This has been discussed a lot, use the search bar for more info. I don’t know what factors have gone into the joint score of 449 but if you can get her to write ielts (if she hasn’t), then more points for you guys.
If you have considered all this and your joint score is still at 449. Then apply as a single applicant and get married after AOR. Your CRS will not be recalculated post AOR. Inform CIC via CSE after the marriage and you will be given 30 days to send additional documents (updated POF included.) Bear in mind that this might raise the need for an Interview later on in your application. |

URGENT!!! Please my elders here help a brother out...i just passed the ielts and am about to start the process. The issue is that am planning to get married to my girl, and she is in her final year in university, when I calculated my score it fell to 449 as against 471 in case I intend to apply as a single person. Do I apply as single so that when I get there I come and pick her or is there any way around it? I am open to ideas.... Please help me. |

Wen u dey write IELTS u go Don sabii all these ones by force.... 24hoursreporter: Transition words are important in any write-up, whether it is a social media post, article or academic writing, Transition words are necessary.
To put it differently, Transition words are to writing what spices are to food. These words spice up any write-up and make it flows better.
They sew paragraphs together and connect one idea to another in a systematic manner.
If you learn the examples of transition words outlined in this article, your writing will always be coherent. This is because you will master the art of weaving sentences together systematically.

ogbevireo: I think you would be taking too much of a risk to do this assessment, unless the assessing body gives you a leeway in the form of years of experience in lieu of academic qualifications.
In this case, I do not see that leeway. thanks sir.... |

I just nominated the Education Managers nec as my occupation for the skills assessment, however I noticed that there is a caveat that states a highly relevant field of study, although the job description matches mine. I have a B.Sc. in Economics and statistics and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, but this seems to differ from the highly relevant fields of study such as Educational Studies, Teacher Education, and Educational Leadership and Administration which was stated. Please sir advise me on what to do. Can I go ahead for assessment? Thanks. aussy4life: It's not only Sol list that is there try checking state list too. Nobody can tell you which occupation to apply rather check all list and pick the one that is closely related to what you studied and find a way to apply for it.
Please note that Australia assessing body want's what you studied to be closelyrelated to what your doing. If you cant find any please try canada.
quote author=ambo1 post=70622692]@ oga bellong thanks for attending to me, i was able to go through the SOL list and i found the following.... (1) Education Adviser
(2) Education Manager plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates educational policy, and provides advice and educational and administrative support to staff and students in educational institutions (ANZSCO).
This occupation covers Education Managers which are not 134499 Education Managers nec elsewhere classified in ANZSCO. This occupation includes Project Coordinator (Education), TAFE Registrar and University Registrar. Highly relevant fields of study would be Educational Studies, Teacher Education, and Educational Leadership and Administration.
my issue is @the bolded, i dont have such qualifications. |
