#BBNaija: Kiddwaya doesn’t need ₦85 million prize money – Billionaire father, Terry Waya


Terry Waya, father of Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Kiddwaya, has said his son does not need the N85m prize money.

The Benue-born billionaire said part of the prize money would be given to charity if Kiddwaya emerged winner of the reality television show.

He disclosed this yesterday during an Instagram interview with veteran journalist, Dele Momodu, while reacting to Erica’s disqualification from the show.

“My son does not need BBNaija money, we will give it to charity if he wins,” Terry Waya said.

Recall that Terry Waya had promised to ensure his son split the prize money with Erica if he wins the reality television show.

Erica was disqualified from BBNaija show for repeatedly flouting house rules.

Among other offences she was found guilty of, Erica poured water on the Head of House bed in order to stop Prince, her deputy, from sleeping on it.

However, Mr Waya commended Erica for having his son’s interest, adding that she was disqualified for trying to defend Kiddwaya.

Florence Wathoni Anyansi (29 Years old) popularly called Wathoni is the eighth housemates to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija Lockdown house.

Apart from winning the grand prize, another reason contestants love to be in the show is for fame. Big brother is a reality show and at the moment in the house, contestants will inevitably be famous.

Fine boy Somadina, though has always graced our screens in a few soap operas, people still say he has gone broke and has never featured in one hit Blockbuster since his exit from the ‘See Gobe’ season.




7. Gifty
Actress, Gifty who was one of the housemates from the season 2 Big Brother edition has been off the lime night, not because she chooses to go on a low key but because she has no hot deal yet. We await the return of the beautiful gifty to fame and money.




8. Dee-One
Dee-One was a contestant of the Big Brother season 3 edition. Dee-one displayed some skills and expressed he was a comedian and would love to venture into stand up comedy. But we haven’t seen the ex-housemate doing what he knows how to do best in a lucrative manner.

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has revealed his intention to flaunt his new body shape in two weeks time, after his healing process.

Eight persons were confirmed dead in Felele on the Lokoja-Abuja Expressway, Lokoja, on Monday, in an accident involving a petrol tanker and other vehicles.

Many vehicles, including tricycles, were also burnt as a result of the fire that followed the crash, while many people sustained varying degrees of injury.

Punch correspondent, who visited the scene, gathered that the driver of the petrol-laden truck lost control around the NNPC filling station as the vehicle suffered a brake failure.

Eyewitnesses stated that the tanker rammed into four tricycles, two motorcycles, three cars and a bus, spilled its content on them and the ensuing fire consumed them.

However, men of the state fire service rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Most of the filling stations in the area were closed, while men of the fire service were strategically positioned to prevent the spread of the fire.

Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps were also on the ground to evacuate the corpses of the deceased, while those who were injured were rushed to hospitals.

According to the FRSC, the crash occurred around 8.50am at the Felele area along the Lokoja-Abuja Expressway as a result of brake failure on the part of a white DAF petrol-laden tanker with number plate JEG 141 XA.

Seventeen persons were said to be involved in the accident, out of which eight were killed, while seven were injured.

The victims were taken to the Federal Medical Centre and the Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, by the FRSC.

Rehema Kabayana 24, told police she waited until her boyfriend Anthony Sekawa 28, had fallen asleep then cut off his organ with the 4-inch knife. According to the victim, two then got into a fight and had to fight so hard to save his life because the girlfriend never stopped at that but rather tried to slit his throat.

Fortunately the neighbours heard the man’s howls of pain after his penis had been detached and called police who responded immediately.

Upon arrest the suspect told police that she had recently discovered her boyfriend was seeing different girls at a brothel located in Wanton Mukono and hatched the revenge plot to even the love equation.

“I then discovered that he was secretly going out and flirting with other girls at different bars. This made me very angry. I was full of anger inside and couldn’t relax,” she narrated.

Sekawa was then rushed to Namirembe Hospital for treatment while Kabayana was arrested and held in custody over the attack.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed that Mukono Police had received an emergency call about a man’s penis being cut off with a knife and responded so fast.

Owoyesigyire said that police arrived along with rescue staff and found the man severely injured and was rushed to hospital.

Detectives have discovered that the two had longtime relationship misunderstandings and that the suspect had on several occasions demanded he ceases contact with any other women, including not talking to them, answering their calls or even smiling at them which he however declined to adhere to.

Kabayana outrightly felt her demands were being taken for granted and decided to carry out the sickening act at Kings Bar located in Wanton Mukono District.

The victim told police that he loved his girlfriend and believed she maimed his manhood in a grizzly bid to make sure he did not stray looking for other women.

The suspect is currently detained at Mukono Police Station on charges of attempted murder as more investigations into the case are ongoing.

Sekawa is clearly not the first Uganda man to have lost his penis at the hands of a raging partner.

Jim Howard, lead pastor of the Valencia campus of the more than 6,000 member Real Life Church in California fatally shot himself in the head at home Wednesday after a protracted battle with mental illness.

“It is with a heavy heart that I can confirm we suffered a tragic loss on our church staff this week. On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, Jim Howard — a beloved pastor here at RLC — took his own life,” Rusty George, lead pastor of Real Life Church began in a statement released on Facebook last Thursday.

Shortly before 3:40 p.m., paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the home on North Sunny Creek Drive and police were called in to investigate a gunshot wound to the head.

In his statement on Thursday, George noted that Howard had been battling with mental illness for a while and had even spoken publicly about his struggle with the disease. Howard had reportedly also served at Real Life Church for more than three years.

“Sadly, Jim suffered in private with mental health challenges — some of which he bravely discussed in public — and was wrestling with some personal issues in recent months. This week he made the tragic decision to end his pain. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, the RLC family and all those who were blessed to know him,” George said. .

A 25-year-old panel beater, Adejoh Ojonugwa, has been arrested in Ondo State for stealing underwear belonging to his my younger sister and elder brother's wife.

Ojonugwa was nabbed alongside a 53-year-old Prophet, Olajide Ogunleye, of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ibanujemidopin Parish in Uso Local Council Area of the state. However, during interrogation, Ojonugwa, from Kogi State, said he only visited the prophet for spiritual cleansing as he needed a solution to his problem.

“Two pants belonging to my brother’s wife and three belonging to my younger sister were caught with me,” he admitted.

Visibly angry, the elder brother of the suspect, Benjamin Ojonugwa, said his younger brother had always wanted to have money “by all means, even through rituals".

"He is my own younger brother and has always been in haste to have money through any means, but I just thank God that he was exposed. .

He stole my wife’s underwear, and wanted to use it for ritual purpose, so that he will have more money than me,” he said.

Grace Ojonugwa, the victim, confirmed that the suspect stole her underwear from where she spread it to dry in the house. "It was my husband's younger brother that stole the pants. .

He was actually trailing me to spread it and when I discovered that the pants were missing, I knew he stole it," she said.

Nigerian woman caught her friend allegedly sleeping with her own husband. According to reports, the woman caught her friend simply identified as Nkiru, having affair with her husband in their matrimonial home.

The scorned wife took out her anger on her friend, beat her up mercilessly and almost stripped her totally naked.

In a trending video which was posted online (watch below), the angry wife can be heard shouting on her friend saying, ‘Nkiru, is this what you did to me’, before landing her some beatings.

A 42-year-old man was on Saturday arrested on suspicion of killing his wife, who was found buried in a shallow grave near their home in Randfontein, Johannesburg.

Police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya told News24 on Sunday that the woman was found wrapped in a sheet, and the cause of her death is not yet known.

She was buried on the couple’s plot, near the house where she lived with her husband.

Sibiya said the police suspect that she could have been dead for up to two weeks, as her neighbours said they last saw her a fortnight ago.

City of Johannesburg MMC for Public Safety, Michael Sun, said the arrest was a joint effort between the Johannesburg Metro Police Department and SAPS K9 units, and other SAPS units.

According to Sibiya, police found the body during the course of an investigation into the husband’s alleged possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The police received information about the firearm via their intelligence networks, said Sibiya.

The suspect is expected to appear in court today, Monday, 28th January.
