Talenty: How is the mobile hotspot used freely on android?1

I use an android phone and it is very easy. Just set up your password and any device can connect to it through wifi. What I don't know is how to setup the receiver to connect to the network. Most routers do have wireless so one can just connect to it. You will still need to install the wifi hardware on the receiver though. Anybody who has done that before should come in now.

You pple should not be afraid of OTA whatever as long as your receiver is not fake and u hav nothing to do with d "dark side". After d upgrade, ur receiver will reboot and continue working so dont panic, just let it finish d upgrade and u'll be good.

I dont c a reason 4 creating a new thread 4 this. There's 1 strong receivers and 69z is an old receiver by d way. We cant creat a new topic 4 each of rx model.

olenyi1: Mytv is really stocking the fire this year. Trace channel now migrated to mpeg 4 and other channels to follow next month. Now some channels cant be viewed again even with valid subscription except u're using their paired 4940 receiver and smart card.

Guess all satellite packege providers are all out in arms to combat piracy this time around.

this is not about combating piracy. But following d path of tech. U can use ur old card on 69x, xii, or other strong mpeg 4 and hd receivers. Not necessarily d paired good 4 nothing 4940.

lovala: I got two dishes: 90cm facing w3c/amos5 and 65cm hooked unto multitv. How come OTA still succeeded in taking over my set up and gpt my decoder upgraded yesterday afternoon even though I don't have any of the dishes pointed to IS7/10?

ur Lnb should be 4-5 oclock. 4 frequency, use nwa beam of jsc or aradia.
