if u r talking about dual lnb. The purpose is not 2 track 2 satellites but to use 1 dish/lnb 4 multiple receivers. Eg, u can use d same dish with ur neighbor but on d same satellite.

Altho I'm not sure but I think ur receiver is d same with 4620xII which uses d same s/w as 4663x. It is an mpeg2 just like 63x and not hd. That soft ware also most likely has a mytv logo. To be sure u remote the logo, make sure u download Australian or Brazilian version from wizkid and not those 4 Africa. Hope u don't mind if d 6969 function disappears after upgrade?

Let me add this. If u need option menu or patch on ur receiver, dont use the ota upgrade. If ur receiver is fake and u upgrade, it will most likely fry ur decoder. What u shd do is to look 4 the same type of receiver (fake) and do a rx to rx firmware transfer. Then make sure u turn off ota upgrade b4 u connect d signal cable or else u may b back 2 square 1. There's a particular 69xII in market now. Very easy 2 identify.

I got CNN,sony,SS6 etc on Sat 4.8E astra 4A1E frequency 11.727 symbol rate 27.500 polarisation H under manual scan level 97percent and quality @77percent but it is showing scrambled channel. Is there any way out? Pls I appreciate all ur effort you gurus in the house. Another guru in d making I guess! Hahaha

Those channels are from Star tv from SA. Pay tv like Dstv.

How did u connect ur mytv and multitv? Tru diseqc. Go and check the port where u connect each dish on d diseqc switch outside. Assuming mytv dish is connected 2 port 1 and multitv port2.
Take ur remote press menu, click on installation, dish settings, then scroll to the name of ur sat (group) eg Intelsat 7,10ku for mytv, go to diseqc settings and set it to 1.0. Now set the port to d corresponding no. U have connected ur dish i.e port 1. Press exit on ur remote and save. Repeat d same 4 Astra2abd or d name of the sat u use 4 ur multitv. U shd b ok.

Never mind us o. We were just ... Another lesson learnt is the peak period of nilesat signal. Those of us in the middle belt should have an edge over those in the south south and Lagos environs. I'm now inspired to refurbish my 2.6m which has not been performing well for over 1year now.
