@Ejike. The last 2 are Infinity Channels. The are experimenting with encryption. On those other tps, its like Canal horizon - that french DSTV rival coming to that bird. Just guessing.

Definitely, it's not gonna be HD. If they can lie that they will broadcast these matches then can also lie that their decoder is HD. Lets still wait and see.

Cineafric is free to air but Africa Movie Channel is going 2 be subscription. If u say the former is full of repetition, then the later is 2 movies since they started transmission. Can u compare?

I called the costumer service of infinity tv today to make enquiry about their services. The lady who answered said their decoder is HD. I further asked if she knows I'm not asking if it is mpeg4. She said she knew and that it is mpeg4 and it is HD. I tried to beleive her. But do you know what later surprised me? She said they would show EPL & ECL. She said the decoder is already in market. She even gave me phone numbers of 2 dealers in Kwara State. Can someone confirm and feed us back?

Even if you queue up to pay every month, wouldn't you still buy? To collect rain water, you need bucket and good roof. You may even need to buy a tank. Rain water though is free and the purest. So is FTA!

I'm just thinking about an idea that came 2 my mind sometimes. I want us all to think out, before I practicalise it. What if i construct an arc as lnb holder on a 1.8 metre dish, the center of the arc will be the focal point of the dish. Then the other parts will be offset focal point. The dish faces sirius 4 example, the lnb at the centre receives signal from sirius. Another lnb on the western side of d arc receiving signal from a satellite from the East at an offset angle and so on. The arc may not be a perfect one 4 all its parts to be on the focal points at different offset angles. If my theory works, then a single dish can be used to receive different sats with many lnbs. It is just a theory though, I've not tried it yet.

Moreso, the thread was created in your honour. I think sanity should be restored! Those concerned should beware. I'm not left out o!

Let me show you , point upward and turn around 360o, is your hand not still pointing up? Now u are an offset dish and your hand is an lnb holder and your finger is the lnb! Face north or even south and your lnb is still directly above your head. But when u incline you hand at an angle, the story changes. Wake up and update your itan. Just read the above post. I think the issue of East or West direction is what has been mentioned above. Now with offset dishes, you do not have to face the dish to the sat. So whether you face east west south or north, provided your elevation is near zero and your lnb skew is correct. It also depends on your location too. The satellite has to be almost directly over you and you must be close 2 the Equator.

A guy just made away with my newly purchased 69x, remote, carton and manual. He broke into my room and carried it away, unfortunately, I've just given out my 53x and Hi tv.
