Check ur lnbf cable connection, its ''bridging'' somewhere or the cable is off the lnb.

When all cables are dissconneted it shows same "lnbf". Can lightening be the cause. Wasn't home but it rained.

Re: Strong Receivers Thread by sathob(m): 1:45pm On Oct 11, 2010
one cause of the 4900/4910 freezing and rebooting is removing and fixing the coax cable when it has not been switched or powered off completely. i have had this problem of freeze and booting several times, the cause of mine i spotted is what i have told you, the solution is simply removing all channels, factory reset, and reloading the patch or firmware / sw through rs232 and loader.
i have had no problem since. good luck

pls where can get original strong 4663x firmware for upgrade? pls help a newbie out what's the strong website?
Re: Strong Receivers Thread by sammu(m): 12:00pm On Oct 24, 2010
@sweetsudan, you can not use the original firmware from strong site to upgrade, your box will not be able to use keys if u do that.
Here is a trusted site to upgrade strong decoders _http://www.wizkid.persiangig.com. Click on patch for africa and search for your specific decoder patch. Download and unzip software .
Re: Strong Receivers Thread by Tayin(m): 12:32pm On Nov 04, 2010

Re: Strong Receivers Thread by bolyjay: 7:37pm On Nov 05, 2010
@twinskenny,i don't know the price.
Re: Strong Receivers Thread by segunfms(m): 8:56pm On Nov 05, 2010
@bolyjay

4930 is not similar to 4969, check this out http://www.strong.com.au/SRT%204930.htm this one is fully HD decoder. while 4969 is only mpeg4 not hd.
Re: Strong Receivers Thread by Tayin(m): 9:42pm On Nov 05, 2010
Is there any firmware or software that can add share mode (option menu) to strong 4663x or 4653x
Re: Strong Receivers Thread by Kingskene: 12:57pm On Nov 06, 2010
I just uploaded this patch http://wizkid.persiangig.com/Patch%204%20Africa/SRT4651X_4654X_MyTV_186P_20090403.zip to my strong receiver SRT4653X Using a USB Flash Drive after the firmware upgrade finished the receiver rebooted by itself.Now my problem is that the receiver doesn't read/recognise the USB flash i used to upgrade it or any USB at all.It will only display "Initializing USB please wait" after that it will show invalid USBĀ  the worst that happened is that the receiver suddenly went off after 10hours of upgrade and never came back again.When switched on it will only show black screen in the television that's all.Please can someone help me with a solution to get this receiver working again I will be grateful thanks for your reply.
