I consider him a good player. Funny how Maresca didn’t trust him and still bought him. Don’t want to believe he connived with Leicester to defraud us.
I don't really think they connived to defraud us grin grin

For Leicester's level, he was a good player, and one of Enzo's most important players too, during their good run.

But the step up to Chelsea meant he had to up his game by a wide margin to retain that status as one of Enzo's trusted players in our team. I think that step up was what he couldn't really do, considering the quality we had.

He's an okay player, no doubt, and I'm backing him to do well at Everton

KDH was a good enough squad player, but I don't blame him if he wants to leave.

The only game time he would have seen this season is probably in the cup games and some sub appearances in the EPL.

I wish him the best at Everton

Wesley Fofana is fully fit* and will join the team training tomorrow.
Estevao is also in London and will join team training tomorrow

Hoping Fofana and Lavia are fit this season. 🙏🏾

I don't mind Maresca managing their minutes like he did with James

This Brazil vs Colombia women's final is crazy.
That was one crazy game of football.

I thought Mayra Ramirez had won it with her late goal in normal time, only for Marta to level it up deep in stoppage time, and then put them ahead in extra time, with Colombia forcing another late equalizer in extra time to make it 4-4
Marta should have won it with Brazil's 5th spot kick but missed, which took it to sudden death, until Colombia missed their decisive kick to hand Brazil the win.

That's their 9th Copa America Femenina title

Palmer could have easily become a Ballon d’Or winner if not for the inefficiency of his attacking partners, Jackson and Madueke. Both players seemed to overrate themselves, yet consistently failed to deliver in crucial moments. Their poor decision-making and lack of end product often disrupted attacking flow and killed Palmer’s momentum, ultimately leading to his goal-scoring drought at a critical point last season.

Watch the highlight video below and see how Jackson and Madueke, perhaps unknowingly, sabotaged Palmer’s chances of claiming the Ballon d’Or.

I just hope he at least finishes third in the Ballon d’Or rankings, or better still, manages to win it despite everything.

I still strongly believe he will get there.
Maybe not now, but he surely will.

Many people say Palmer had a bad season, but I disagree. 32 GA in 52 games for a supposedly "bad" season ( As opposed to 42 GA in 48 games in 23/24.)

He set the bar so high in his first season with us, and people expected such levels again.

Palmer's "bad" season is some people's best season.

It is only a matter of time before he will be in the B'dor conversations again.

Are you saying we should trust your balls? grin grin

We actually don't need Garnacho, we have too many forwards already, but if we can do something like that Sancho deal, nothing spoil for me sha.

Having said this,

The 2nd half was a complete turnaround
I give it to coach Madugu.

All the substitutions were spot on...

And Esther Okoronkwo, what a player.

6 assists!
My player of the tournament without a doubt!

Looking at our fixture list again, can we say we have a sort of a good headstart??

An do we have the resilience to keep going at the business end of the season when it really matters to show up??

Those season-ending fixtures can be a problem if we end up challenging on multiple fronts though

Ann-Katrin Berger still got it men

She was so good at penalties while she was with us.
Happy for Sjoke Nusken.

Sandy Baltimore and Oriane Jean Francois have had good tournaments too

Right from the first penalty I could tell that Falk would save most penalties and she did. Her teammates just threw it away by missing. She looked miles better than Hannah Hampton at pens

Anyway England into the final cos Italy would be a walkover. Let's go England!
Those pens from England were terrible and I expected better.

Asides Lucy Bronze and Chloe Kelly, with her trademark kick, the others were just rubbish grin
