Happy anniversary. |
It is the supporters of this satanic government that need the test most. |
When next an APC zombie tells you that Atiku is corrupt, ask them why their lord and savior has not investigated and prosecuted him. If you condone corruption, then you are equally corrupt. A person is innocent until he is found to be guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction. I'm Atikulated, are you? |
PROPHETmichael:Buhari is a failure there is no two ways about it. |
Pls folks ignore that fellow up there who claims he has fixed matches to sell. He is a FRAUDSTER, I repeat, he is a FRAUD. He goes by the name UNUEBO OHIMAI. Don't fall a victim to him and his ilks. The authorities are already on his trail. His days of online fraud are numbered. |
9jvirgin:Tell your paymaster to show us his achievements, and stop calling people who are better than your father names. |
Pls beware of the online fraud called MTN Yellow Gift where they Will ask you to send a particular recharge card to a certain number, for your account to be recharged with data and credit for calls. It is a FRAUD. Don't be a victim. |
It is funny to see people allowing themselves to be deceived by stories such as this. Akwa Ibom is PDP to the core, and that is the senatorial district of his excellency sen. Godswill Akpabio, and some dumb persons are talking of people decamping to APC there. The people you see in the above picture are looking for money to help themselves, period. APC has no place in Akwa Abasi Ibom state. This is not Yoruba land where they will allow terrorists to deceive them. |
modelmike7:You mean the beginning of rigging APC and herdsmen into Aso rock in 2019? God is watching you people. |
emekaike:For wetin? |
Ovywils:many of them are not tweeting. They want to be in the good books of NDDC, while we the "mugus" will put our necks on the block for them. Thumbs up to those of us who are tweeting, God will reward you for your courage. |
That's good news for Saudi women. |
Political travellers. |
Good day all,pls where and where was our resolution published? |
@ Luck2016 your writeup is comprehensive and all encompassing. If we can get even one national newspaper to publish this writeup, you will all be amazed at the rapid and positive attention it will generate. Thumbs up bro. |
chymeze:I don't have time to banter or exchange words with you. We are looking for people to tweet and retweet at Nsima Ekere's twitter handle. Go there and show your power, internet warrior. |
@ Sethmelia I will address you and your co-travellers directly for the first time. Why are you guys so pained each time you hear one positive news about the 2017 scholarship process? Why are you so eager to convince us that the process is cancelled, so we should give up. If I recall rightly, you are one of those that peddled the falsehood that NDDC had quietly sent some scholars abroad through the backdoor, now you people are now singing a new tune that the process has been canceled. Are you people not contradicting your selves? You are asking where I got my information from, are you the only person who has got links to people in the commission? Go and check all my posts on platform, I have never made a bogus claim or any false statement on this forum. Let me give you a piece of bad news, the 2017 list will NOT be cancelled. If the list is cancelled I will give you ten thousand Naira. This is not empty talk, hold me to my word if the list is cancelled. Stop being a harbinger of false and negative news on this platform, even if you didn't make it to the interview stage, pls rejoice with those who eventually make it,then reapply again and God will bless your effort. This will be my last direct communication with you. |
Hello good people, some people don't know how to present facts. The hullabaloo about the purported cancellation is this, there appears to be a sharp division between board members in relation to the list. Word has it that the chairman said that there is a "foul play" in the list, so he is not in favor of the list. On the other hand, the people who doctored the list and transmitted the names of their people in are in support of the list being released. Pls note that you can't cancel the list based on your internal disagreement, because there will be no good reasons to give. As we speak, there is some sort of confusion and disagreement amongst the board members. But the fact that no new applications are being requested by the board is a good sign that the list Will survive. That apart, it is not hard to cancel the list, but their problem is the reasons for the cancellation. So those who are trying to gain cheap popularity by trying to make us see how connected they are,and presenting their personal opinions as if its that of the board, should desist from it. No matter how long it takes, the commission will make their decision on this matter public, in due time. With this, all self-appointed spokespersons of NDDC should let us rest with their fake news. For those of us who are already mounting pressure on the commission to release the list through different media (social media inclusive) pls keep up the good work.Don't give up. Someday, I hope very soon, we will look back and say,it wasn't easy but it was worth it. |
The NDDC board met with the vice President during the weekend. Their discussion revolved around funding shortfalls and outstanding funds owed the commission by the FG, as well as the proposed Niger Delta Development Bank, which is to take off by December 2018. Also discussed was the e- learning program for primary schools in the Niger Delta region, proposed by NDDC. I don't know if the scholarship program was part of their discussion. But this goes to prove that the info about the board meeting, which was given by one of us last week is true. I'm also hopeful that the 2017 process would have been discussed even in passing, because it is one of the biggest financial undertakings of the commission in any given year. The timing of this board meeting coincides with the time frame for the conclusion of the 2017 process(May),which the MD had mentioned several months back. Let's all remain hopeful. May God help us all. |
I have purposely refused to join issues with doomsday prophets of cancellation,it is not even necessary to glorify them with a response. Folks, this undue delay has been caused mainly by the very late passage of the budget. But with that sorted out, we don't have long to wait before the release of the list. The 2017 list is safe, the worst that can happen to it is for it to be manipulated in favour of certain applicants. I pray it doesn't affect anyone here adversely. May God reward all those who have kept faith with this cause, with an award letter in Jesus name. |
Hello guys, those of you who applied for PTDF,check if you have been shortlisted. I hear the shortlist is out. Just thought I should give the applicants a heads up. See better scholarship, no delay. |
Luck2016:Marg education what ever they call themselves, are education consultants. They were consulted by NDDC for "the purpose of transparency,"and to give credence to the selection process and nothing more. They also act as scouts for foreign universities, head hunting foreign students for these foreign universities. Perhaps that's how they contacted you.Marg's job with NDDC is done for now. Thus their just concluded fare is irrelevant to our cause. I have this feeling that we are gradually coming to the end of the road on this platform. This is because ,once the list is out some of us won't be coming here again. But whatever the case ,I want to say that I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with great minds on this thread. You guys kept me going, even when the total silence and blackout by NDDC was driving me crazy, your contributions, insight and info helped to calm me down many times. I'm really grateful to you all. I really pray we ALL meet very soon in PH, so we can match our faces to our nairaland monikers (usernames). It will really be fun.God bless you all. |
Hello guys, these funny people just paid 8,450 as transport fare. Pls confirm. |
na2016:We want everything, list and transport. By Thursday it will be four weeks since this clowns raised our hopes again. They can't even pay 10 thousand naira to us in 9 months. They can't even make a simple statement to us. Like Buhari treats Nigerians with disrespect, Nsima Ekere treats us with utter disdain. But as the Lord liveth, my PVC will speak for me. |
mikelhunch:my bro don't lose hope yet. No matter how long it takes,2017 list will be released. The move to pay the transport stipend is a good indicator. If they wanted to cancell the process, they won't even bother to pay the stipends. Also check NDDC website, there is an article about including undergraduates in the scholarship process. In that article, the MD stated categorically that the process of selection will be concluded by May. At the risk of sounding like an NDDC spokesperson, I suspect that the delay in passing the budget has caused some setback for them. That said, Nigeria has become so corrupt that, you can not really say when a government agency is facing genuine challenges and when government officials are delaying a process because the money meant for that process has been warehoused in fixed deposit accounts to yeild interest for certain government officials. However, I am confident that 2017 list will not be scrapped, because outside contract awards, the next big thing in NDDC is the scholarship list. So from the chairman to the typist, they are all interested in that list. The list will not be cancelled, only pray that your name should be on the list. Even me, I'm calling on my God daily. If you are averse to prayers, pls feel free to call on your ancestors or better still, call on your juju. The important thing is the award letter, guy 30 thousand dollars can sure change your life for good. |
Happy easter guys and babes. Welcome to a new month. I prophecy into your lives that before this week runs out,you will all be paid your transport stipends, and before the end of this month, the long expected list will be out, and you will be shuttling to an fro Port Harcourt for your award letter and briefing. Regardless of today's date, 01/4/18 if you believe so shall it be for you. Welcome to April, and congratulations in advance. |
With just one communication from NDDC, all those who scorned me for praying, have suddenly become prayer warriors. Meanwhile, all apostles and doomsday prophets of cancellation of the 2017 process, have hurriedly completed the bank details request form. Everywhere has suddenly gone quiet. Intense prayer and fasting has commenced in various quarters. I wish everyone success sha. |
CSmooth:Its a positive sign. Something is about to happen. Father let thy will be done. |
Well I'm happy that you are a lawyer, because I was bothered about achieving a consensus ad idem with you ( no insult intended) on a legal matter.I must however commend your grasp of the legal technicalities in issue here. About your comments on the duty being an imperative duty for mandamus to be enforced, that is quite true, but this must be construed in the light of Nddc's prime duty, which is to develop the Niger Delta region. Thus, any goal the NDDC sets to enable it achieve its main mandate of developing the region therefore becomes an imperative duty. Thanks guy for this engaging intellectual intercourse. |
CSmooth:Well my brother, I'm not asking you, I'm simply presenting contractual concepts which are obtainable in the Law of contract. Read my presentation in context. If you look at my previous posts, you won't see any thing suggesting that we can sue NDDC to give us scholarship. However, we can sue for the list of successful applicants to be published. It is at that point that the successful applicants can now demand for the scholarship to be awarded to them. It is this kind of mentality that is keeping Nigeria where it is today. Do you seriously mean that a government agency like NDDC can advertise for a scholarship program, and people will spend their time, energy, money, and even risk their lives to travel long distances, write an exam, travel again for the interview, and you abandon the process without any consequence? Are you telling me that there is no legal remedy for the victims of such administrative ineptitude and callousness? If that is your belief, pls explain to this forum what a writ of mandamus is, and what it is used for. |
