You don’t need to order GCMS notes for this. I guess the V.O didn’t see your supporting documents because they were not properly arranged.
My spouse application was refused based on the following reasons as well. We didn’t know about Nairaland as at that time, so we submitted SOP, LOA, passport information page, POF and Tuition receipt.

We thought IRCC would contact us for more information/documents. English Breakfast was served instead. Lol!

What we did differently in the new Application was that we loaded IRCC with relevant supporting documents, a detailed SOP, Table of contents based on Nairalander suggestions.

When you are reapplying, make sure your documents are well arranged. All the best in your next application!

Also, I just graduated in August, what do they mean by current employment situation?

You can use four months bank statement or better still use MBS.

I don’t know about study permit but I have seen couples of visitor visa refusal via the new portal.

You receive BVL when a decision is made on your application.

Its quite funny to see people getting PPR and they are not sharing their timelines and documents submitted. These are the things that keeps the forum active. This is one of the things I applaud about the ‘international student forum’. People always come back to share their stories not just take from the platform.

If you don get PPR, abeg share your timeline. No witch for Nairaland fit stop you from getting your passport back from VFS����

Has anyone applied for Visit Visa using the new portal this February? How were you able to compress your documents to 2mb? I have tried using most of the file compressor app I know but it is not yielding good result.

My candid advice is to go through the old portal or use the MBS. I eventually had to use to old portal coz I wanted every scanned documents to be clear and well detailed

I am trying to submit an application on the new portal but I noticed that the maximum size of document I can upload is now 2mb *serious gbege*
I have tried using series of App to compress the files but I am not getting good results.

You need to add more documents to justify that you have strong commitments in Nigeria to guarantee your return. Sadly,GCMS notes take longer than 40 days to be delivered this days. You could decide to gather more documents and write a strong letter of explanation and reapply

2. Which prog is your hubby running
3. Did you apply alone

You can still reapply for visit, since it may be faster.
You may need to work more on your LOE (I do help revise LOE's).
Also, you may want to look at the documents you submitted e.g. the invitation letter from your husband.

My visitor visa application was refused based on family ties in Canada and home country. How do I tackle this?
My husband is a study permit holder and I haven’t seen him in 2 years. The good people of nairaland please come to my rescue. Can I apply for SOWP or should I just reapply for VV?
