Despite the Federal Government's declaration that it does not have enough funds to meet the 92 billion naira tranche of the 2009 agreement it made with the Academic Staff Union of Universities(Union), there appears a fresh hope that Nigerian students would resume come next week. It was authoritatively and reliably gathered that the Federal Government's Needs Assessment Implementation Committee headed by the Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswan have met at the Benue State Governor's Lodge, Abuja where both parties reportedly agreed on the contentious issues which gave impetus to the industrial action embarked upon by the Union over a month ago, except one.
