AZeD1:A receiver manager? I think I read from the judgement of the court that one be appointed - Mr. Bola Olotu. Not sure if I interpreted it correctly though. I'm of the opinion that they execute an irrevocable undertaking to domicile all business proceeds and cash flows with the bank. I pity the school. The interest that would have accrued over the years may take another four to five years of monthly payments to clear. Such bad credit record! |
TheEminentLaity:The property was his. He sold it to the school. So yes, a single man can stand as a guarantor but there are certain things not right about all this. He had no business signing the TLM after he had sold the property. And why didn't first bank go ahead to perfect the legal mortgage all these years? It's for their legal department to worry anyway. |
tinydev56:Lol. How would proper KYC erode non payment of loan? Is KYC one of the canons of good credit? Because from the little I know, KYC or no KYC, a customer without character will not pay down on their loans or meet maturing obligations as and when due. |
Soakaway:I was honestly feeling sorry for your predicament until I read where you said you got a female friend who you guess is in love with you... Lol. Love dey your head still, you must be distracted! In this kind of situation, you need all the external help you can get from males and females. You also need maximum concentration to pass well. A lot of people have offered you good advice but since I'm commenting, I'll amplify what has been said. I have a problem with sitting down for more than two hours at a stretch to study. The school library wasn't my place. I play too much but I don't forget what I hear, see and write down. When I discovered this, I knew I couldn't force myself to read like my friends. During exam prep, they'll be so worried about me and even advice me on how to read. None of that worked. Here's what worked for me. - Group discussions. - Me, teaching others BEFORE exams. - Asking questions. - Answering past questions. - Debates. Always taking the wrong side. - Intensive night reading, a day or two to the exam. - Humility. - God. These are some of the things that helped my grades in school. By my third year, those who knew my matric number said I was deceiving them. I don't look like I know and till tomorrow, I love that unassuming side of me. It gives me an edge. And oh! I'm shy too. So being shy is not an excuse. Look for one or two people doing well and befriend them. Where you need help with materials, speak up. Go to senior colleagues early and ask for their materials before they give them out or return them home. Best wishes as you discover what works for you! Let your least grade this semester be D. |
Yuneehk:Lol. This is a good motivation and if what I see on your dp is old, I can only imagine the new . You're beautiful ![]() I haven't cooked in 3 months and counting! This is embarrassing. The last time I cooked, PHCN guys came during the week and cut us off power supply without any prior notice, it weakened me. Everything in the fridge went bad. The cost of that waste made me settle for this fast foods and junk life. To encourage me, I have ticked the follow icon of this thread, Saturday won't pass me by. I have committed, therefore, I must deliver ![]() |
Just look at what my fellow human beings are doing but Chicken Republic 'Refuel meal' has taken over the affairs of my stomach! It is with anger I'll wash all the pots and cooking spoons in this house today. Come Saturday, I'll post my very first home made plate of food ![]() Goodbye fast-food! ![]() My kitchen must win this battle! ![]() |
Imoksp:How does this even work Do you know him? You expect him to just call you up and offer you accommodation? Did you read where he said he's bereaved? How do you plan on teaching him to get a job? Some things leave me confused sha. |
Babacele:Lol. Oh! How I've e-missed you too ![]() Thanks plenty for checking. I'm fine. Holding up well. You? |
chyima:Congratulations dear. I'm happy to read this ![]() All the best as you resume. Have a fulfilling career! |
BoleAndFish:Lol. I wish I can eat this through my phone ![]() |
sayoberry:This is food! I'm convinced that if I hang around here for one month I'll grow fat ![]() Thank you for first feeding my eyes. |
![]() Good question. Once I went out with a friend to an eatery, after we placed orders for food and it was served us, he closed his eyes and blessed the food. I found it very interesting and a worthy culture to imbibe. Me, on the other hand while growing up, fought the practice of praying before eating hard with my mum. It was just out of rebellion. Since that hang out, I don't pray before eating out of compulsion but of necessity giving thanks to God for provision. |
bastien:My God! This is a very painful way to die. I really feel for the young man who lost his life. May his family be consoled. |
Mmmh... Enugu has too many snakes, I can't explain why. |
yusufhaji:Really? I must have skipped that part when I read the advertised vacancy. |
mannatech:Amen to your prayer. She'll be fine come what may. Trust and believe. |
Jesusgirl92:Lol. That opening sentence made me smile. I was served that card last week online too. To understand or not to understand doesn't have to do with being female. It's just an emotional feeling in this situation. There are ladies who don't use the restroom at work. There are days, I, lady Amicable, don't use the convenience at work. And there have been a few times I have visited while badly pressed, I have had to turn back to my desk after being greeted by some gory sight without passing out urine and I was fine. For me, any lady disturbed by the CCTV camera installation should improvise. You can't because of that resign. You have to change your sanitary pad, easy! You don't strip to do that. It's a simple process. It's the guys who will be monitoring the cameras and watching behind the scenes that should be agitated. It's a dishonorable role to play. How can you tuck in your shirt to work in the morning only to watch people pee and poop? Those ones can resign not the ones excreting waste products. |
Lol. When I saw the topic of this thread I knew I'll have a good laugh. Your last paragraph is funny. What do you mean by "made in Philippines products?" . If she's sponsored to Philippines won't you be happy? ![]() But on a more serious note, they seem to have gotten hold of her. You can help her by sharing other people's stories and experiences in multilevel marketing (MLM) until she sees herself towing a similar path she won't believe you. Don't just share for her to read or ignore, share and discuss it after reading. Hear her arguments FOR her job before bringing in your arguments AGAINST her job. If she's a staff and not a distributor, who knows? One day, she may be the one to go to Philippines for more supplies of tea and supplements to Nigeria. These guys have really repackaged this thing sha. This job market don kpafuka. |
Tamaranancy, unless you are above 30, I think you should give this a shot. It may not be what you want but it will afford you the opportunity to fill an application and possibly get shortlisted for aptitude test. Try it out. |
Hi OP, how long ago did you pass out from NYSC? You've got 2.1, that's like being handed a ticket. Congratulations! If below 26, don't despair. Arrange your CV, send your applications out, tell friends, family, distant relatives, acquaintances, strangers, everyone, that you're looking for a job and interested in so and so. The fellow thinking you can't get help here thinks wrong. I formed a bond with some graduates in this section a few years back and they helped with mentions and shares whenever companies advertised including test materials to aid my preparation. Look out for someone here who's also job hunting. You need company. Good company please. It will make it easy for you. Most importantly, start preparing for aptitude tests and interviews. It's better to prepare for an opportunity before it comes than have an opportunity come your way only to meet you unprepared. Go through other threads, you will see links to download materials. I'll try to give you a mention whenever I see a graduate trainee advert on here if you confirm you're below 26. Cheers! |
Babacele:Thank you so much uncle Cele. Thank you. It's not easy but I know years from now I'll be grateful for this experience. It's so bad that today my colleague called while I was out on call to ask about my blood pressure. Lol. It's crazy but that's how far it has gone. It's equally teaching me to stand up for myself in the corporate world. I'm used to having people fight for me. I still have a few but I've seen that everyone of us is somewhat selfish so, I go out, make requests and look top men and women in the eye, sometimes smile to regain confidence if shaken and subtly make demands. It's either a yes or a no. Whatever the response, I'll know I didn't stay waiting for someone to take pity on me and fight for my course and that's what I love about the change. I really appreciate your words of wisdom. They are far-reaching. |
Sterope:I don't at all. How can a boy like me know about a female's body? I don't have strength to put myself in any shoes please. Mine is inconveniencing enough. Thanks. |
Abbeyme:I have left all I'm doing to start reading about menarche and ovulation to be sure I still know what I know. It's a pity sha. Maybe too much book no good. |
)
. You're beautiful
