Yes they did. I’m also much concerned about the fact that Some ppl are even pushing the buttons for them.

It’s time the GMD take a bold step and damn the consequences. To me it’s not even debatable in the first place.

The mistake NNPC made was unionizing the contract staff. They pay union dues too, at least in some SBU I know. In the long run the contract staff have their legs in all corners of NNPC from management cadre, union member e.t.c.
In the end the GMD has the final say regardless of the consequences that would follow.

GTs are not in the junior cadre. GT should be in SS6. Junior cadre are those that entered with OND/SSCE. Like the proposed recruitment in January when this present one is completed.

OND is still Senior Staff. It's SSCE that is Junior Staff.

I was busy telling myself I applied for supervisor position until I looked closely at my form recently and discovered its superintendent position..
I hope both means the same please...

Same thing.
Superintendent for technical role e.g Production, HSE Department e.t.c.
Supervisor for non technical role e.g HR, Admin, Finance e.t.c.
