Hello good day, you welcome to GEEKS HALL, in one of our previous tutorials we talked about how to install android apps on your pc (Read about in HERE), and today we will talking about how to share files, videos, images e.t.c between bluestacks and your pc. You could have download some apps or pdf files or images or videos while using bluestacks to browse. So I will teach a simple and quick method that you can use to send files to your pc and how to send to bluestacks from your pc (remember bluestacks has quite a 8gb storage that you can use to save and also install files)

How to transfer files to your pc using bluestacks


- Install Es file explore ( you can download it via the two stores available on bluestacks i.e play store and 1 mobile market or you can also install other stores such as mobo market , blackmart e.t.c and download from there or use the method in our previous tutorial HERE)


- After installing Es file explore, you then launch it and search for the file you want to transfer (you can use the normal system pc to type while searching)


- When you locate the file LEFT click and hold the mouse for about 3secs to select the file , then you click more located at the right bottom side of the app



- Next up you click share , a new box will pop out you then select “SEND TO WINDOWS” and select where you want the file to be saved , and in about some seconds the file the will be on your pc (time varies depending on the size of the file)


How to transfer files from your pc to bluestacks


- Launch Es file explore
Scroll down until you see the folder name windows (it should be the last file)
Open the document folder and search for the file you will like to transfer
LEFT click and hold the mouse for about 3seconds to select the file
Copy or cut it
Go back to the home screen of Es file explore (by pressing the back button on bluestacks until you get to the home screen with sd card written on top of it)
You can now paste it into any folder you want

i guess the downloading depends on the speed of ur internet provide thats why. you can install more apps o. i have es file explore, temple run subway surf, candy crush, pics art and many more it as 8gb storage . try installing more apps u will enjoy it

You welcome to another tutorial section on GEEKS Hall, today we will be taking about Pc android emulators. Pc Android emulator are applications that enable you run/install any android app of your choice on your pc (it could be whatsapp, instagram, twitter, tango, viber, bbm, temple run, subway surf, fifa, gta e.tc) and one of the best emulator I have seen so far is Bluestacks, you can install any app, play any game, perform all the settings (install and uninstalling e.t.c) and tweaking you do on your android phone

So how do you install this Bluestacks?
1. You download Bluestacks, you can Google it out or visit Filehippo and search they surely have it over at Filehippo (downloaded mine there)
2. After download you install the app ( Bluestacks ) this should be done within 2-5min depending on your pc






How to install android apps on your pc

There are two ways you can install this android apps on your PC

Via the App Store on Bluestacks, BlueStacks has two different app store (Google Play store and 1Mobile Market ) but for you to download from any of this store you must first login your gmail details ( Internet connections is required ) just to synchronize bluestacks and make sure it’s up to date, after the login you can now search and download whatever you want successfully from any store of your choice


2. You can install directly from your PC. This is the method I will be teaching today.
You could download the apk via your pc browser (you will search the apk of the app you want on pc, E.g for Temple run, you will search “Temple run.apk” without the quotes though) or send the apk from your mobile phone to your pc, after you might have downloaded the apk file, you search for the file on your pc and double click, blue stacks will install it for you (see the image below).

After its done installing, launch blue stacks and you will see your installed app there, double click the app to launch and vola that’s it, you done, so simple right?


one of the best thing about bluestacks is that its going to also provide you with controls for games that you install like the one in the picture below.

Most people only know how to take screenshots with there phones ,but dont know how to do so on pc ,so i decided to share this :

Straight up to the tutorial

There are two ways you can do this

1. Most widows computer comes with this facility (I guess you never knew this right?) okay this is it , it is the "print screen" button on your keyboard located just after the F12 button . to take a screen shot with it press
the Alt + print screen button ,the screen shot will b take and then added to your clipboard . Now go to your PC menu (start) and search for paint (its an application , its located under Accessories in the menu ,in some PC) open it then click on the edit tab , on the drop menu click paste and you will see the screenshot you can then crop it and do other things you want with it ,then save .


2. You can also download PicPick it an application that lets you take screen shot ,view various mean , ranging from free hand pick to full page . you can google it out, its just about 9mb. you can also crop, and save in different formats . That is all, start taking screenshots.

This is a little but powerful tip, on how to make
your battery and data last longer. If you know
am better means, feel free to drop your
comments. Lets ride on


[1] Screen brightness : The higher the
brightness (I.e from 0-100%) the higher the rate
at which the battery is been consumed. Set the
brightness to auto brightness . Its going to
adapt to any environment it finds itself .


[2] Screen Time out : The longer the lights of
your phone stays on when its not been used,
also contributes to a weak or low battery life.


[3] Healthy charging : This means charging
your battery from 20%. This should be done at
least twice a month.


[4] Haptic feedback : switch off haptic
feedback, the vibration from the feedback
makes your battery weak.


[5] synchronize : Turn off sync when not in use
or change the sync interval to minimize the rate
at which the battery and data is been
consumed.


[6] Also Turn off the following : wifi connection,
Hotspot, vibration, Bluetooth, and turn off
mobile data when you are not using it.
(Probably at night when you want to sleep) its
save your data and battery connection. Also
clear background/running apps (go to manage
application, under settings then click running
and stop the ones you don't want.)


P.B : You can also download apps such as
battery calibration , juice defender, battery
bot, Dx battery saver , and other good battery
savers at Google play, mobo market, 1mobile
market, one mobile market and blackmart.
You can adjust the synchronize time of apps
such has Twitter, gmail, Facebook, news and
weather YouTube etc between 2hrs and and
6hrs to fit your data plan and battery life.
