Contact there support dept ask if you can set the dns yourself (I think that is the best way to follow)

Besides to your question dns propagation take about 24 - 48hours to fully propagate.

I've contacted them but they keep telling me its DNS propagation

Hello, I registered a dot com dot ng domain with Smartweb since 2nd Sep. 2016, the domain is marked active in my domain list. I gave them my DNS so they can set it up for me. they told me it is set up.. I tried using the domain for my hosting but its not pointing. I contacted them and they told me it's due to DNS propagation. I tried checking the DNS record and whois record but I received an error msg. its over 100 hours getting to 125 hours and yet they're telling me its because of DNS propagation. do b
DNS propagation takes up to 100 hours before it takes effect?

In a Boko Haram video from January 2015, Abu Musab al-Barnawi was described as the group’s spokesman.

The IS “governor” for West Africa Province, Abu Musab al-Barnawi, has granted the interview to the Al-Naba newspaper discussing the Boko Haram war with
Nigerian government.

Al-Barnawi, who is Boko Haram’s former spokesman, has been announced as the Nigerian militant organization’s new leader on August 3, Wednesday.

He replaced the Nigerian group’s long-time leader Abubakar Shekau after much speculation.

SITE Intelligence Group’s translated the interview in which Al-Barnawi threatened to kill Christians and bomb churches.

The new Boko Haram leader blamed the West for spreading Christianity to the African region and also said that charities are assisting them in doing that.

“They strongly seek to Christianize the society.

They exploit the condition of those who are displaced under the raging war, providing them with food and shelter and then Christianizing their children,” he said.

The terrorist further warned that the Boko Haram fighters would retaliate the West by “ booby-trapping and blowing up every church that we are able to reach, and killing all of those [Christians] who we find from the citizens of the cross.”

Al-Barnawi added that Boko Haram “remained a force to be reckoned with” and that it had been bringing in new recruits.

He titled the group’s attack on West African states as a war fought by Muslims against “apostates” and “crusaders.”

Abubakar Shekau reacted to the news saying that terror group will not change its course of the establishment of an Islamic state in Nigeria.

He has unveiled a recorded message with comments on the state of affairs in the sect.

The previous leader, Shekau, has constantly mocked Nigerian government with increasing attacks since more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls were kidnapped in April 2014.

However, Boko Haram had lost majority of its territory it controlled 18 months ago to the Nigerian army as it claimed that sec has been completely defeated.

Ijegun, a sprawling community in Alimosho, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, has set aside the sum of N5million in its attempt to forestall militants attacks, kidnap and rape in the area.

This was disclosed at a meeting held at the palace of Oba Nureni Akinremi, the Onijegun of Ijegun land and ttended by all the chairmen of community development associations in the domain.

The purpose of the meeting, it was gathered, was to examine the solution to security challenges posed by militants.

It was further gathered that the community had also resolved to hire members of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) to man strategic locations in the neighbourhood.

Operational vehicles, motorcycles and walkie-talkies would equally be provided for the operatives to ensure effective performance.

“We have agreed to engage members of the Oodua People’s Congress for the protection of the whole Ijegun against all the attacks that claimed lives in the community. We plan to hire 70 guards who would be deployed in various strategic points in the community.

“The guards are specifically meant to checkmate militants’ attacks but they will also be working with the existing security men in each CDA. We have budgeted N5m to ensure their smooth operations.

“People have made donations and contributions are on going in each CDA. We want to buy three buses and at least 10 motorcycles to aid their operations. We have already bought walkie talkie for them to communicate with one another and they are well armed.

“The operatives are a registered security organisation and they have their uniform and identity cards. Apart from that, we have resolved that from 12am till 5am, no okada rider will be allowed to operate in the
community except there is an emergency. “We also want to create awareness for all residents on the need to be security conscious.

We are going to do this through distribution of pamphlets and announcements on radio stations. The abduction of the Oniba of Iba and attacks on communities in Lagos and Ogun states are very disturbing.

That is why we are taking all these measures.” a community leader in the area told our
correspondent.

Meanwhile, the federal government has confirmed the resumption of payments of monthly stipends to ex-militants in response to sustained attacks on oil facilities which have dropped crude production to a 30-year low.

According to Bloomberg, the payment of stipends resumed on Monday, August 1, after coordinator of the presidential amnesty program, Paul Boroh told ex-militants in an e-mailed statement that their delayed stipends would resume.
