Okay bro EZEIGBO1OFIMO: No reasonable school would admit you for a masters CS program. you are lacking a lot, i mean a whole lot of prerequisites that even a an undergrad CS freshman is expected to have. If you're looking to make an IT switch, you can try Tech related options in your field of geology, probably something to do with simulation, signal processing, image sensing, Transducers/sensors et al. While you're waiting for the admission process, you can start getting your hands dirty with relevant programming languages (NumPy, MATLAB, C++ etc). It'll probably boost your chances for getting funded, by joining an active research Lab. |

okay. you dont even understand what i am talking about Thanks for your helpless opinion TWoods: You didn’t meet the requirements of the program you applied to. Hence you were rejected. If you’re not qualified, no amount of “helping” will change that. QED. |

I know right. Please stop feeding me with infos I know already. If you can help me with universities that fit my criteria, I will greatly appreciate. Thanks for your opinion. LagosismyHome: College Park is a good competitive school , there would be loads of people with 100% that will be rejected from UMD .......Also due to free application fee going on , there would be more applicants
So if that was your only application then that wasn't a wise choice . Also finding admission with GRE , not a wise choice too as that limits the no of schools you can apply to |

TWoods: Fulfilling 90% of requirements mean nothing. Considering many other students likely applied who met 100% of requirements, why do you expect to be admitted? This is why I harp on engaging your prospective departments prior and during the admissions process. It guards against surprises like this. Thank you. But this wasn't helpful in any way. Thanks for your opinion anyways |

The University of Maryland just broke my heart, after fulfiling 90% of the requirement, the administrator said i didnt do Calculus II and Calculus III in my Undergraduate level, and in so doing my application would be rejected. Guys i'm done for right?
If i'm done for, please suggest schools that are still open for Admission into Masters, without GRE. I will appreciate big time Thanks!!! |
