In one of our discussion I ask her if child bearing is the issue she said that the prof rarely complain of child bearing and both of them are looking for solutions. Am writing on behalf of my friend. We were classmate in the university some years ago she was beautiful ,yellow and Tall . She has all the natural endowment that came down from heaven. She was dating her fellow student before the professor in the same faculty came to her for marriage direct. Initially she refused but because of the pressure, gift and money the professor was lavishing on her family to convince her to marry him she accepted. N/B while we were in school she was into jewelry business so the professor was not pleased with the business he stopped her from doing the business and promise to get her work immidiately After she graduate. We graduated in 2010 so that was the end of our communication because the professor forbids her communicating with anyone other than her family members or his own family members. Just Two months ago we became friends in facebook so the story begins guess what, she has not spend a week in their house with happiness since day one she moved to the professor house after traditional marriage. Beating, yabbing, torture and torment every day from the professor. It is quite unfortunate that she has not born any child since marriage. N/B the professor is a widower with the young ladies one married and one single. To make matters worse her elder brother that the professor use to fear because he has money is now very poor the implications are that the professor will talk to her and her family any how he likes, he calls the father on phone curse him for bearing her and other of his useless children upon that she is still living with the Prof. According to her since two months now he has not eating her food. He calls her nameS even on the road He curse her mother and father and entire family. Currently Now he brought out money for her to buy things for the house, she collected the money and went to the market only to come back and find out that he has locked up the flat and travel to his village with a different Key reason that she did not come back early . She slept in side her car for that night. According to her he has told her to leave his house in peace or he will make her leave in pieces. He beats her almost ones in a week or two. She told me that since they married, she has been going but she will come back when he will come to her villa and beg with her family members for her to come, according to her it is a routine for him to send her out and letter bring her back. She asked me what to do as she want to leave him final and travel out if possible but her greatest challenge is finance. She doesn't have money now even to travel to her village. The professor who stopped her business with the promise of paying her monthly currently give her 20k for food items once in a month or two. I don't want to tell a woman to divorce her husband to be on a safer side so I promise her that my advice will come from different intellectuals in Nigeria. Please wonderful Nairalanders help a friend she is in hell. She told me that there is no love again and that seeing the prof irritates her. I can't type all she said to me about her marriage here. We were having a discussion today and some one accused biafrans of killing Isaac boroh because I don't know the story well I decided to do some research. During the course of my research, below was what I found out about his death. .....Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro (September 10, 1938 – May 9, 1968), fondly called "Boro", was a celebrated Nigerian nationalist and Nigerian civil war hero. He was one of the pioneers of minority rights activism in Nigeria.[1][2]

In his autobiography, "The Twelve-Day Revolution", Boro wrote about his early life:

"I am reliably informed that I was born at the zero hour of twelve midnight on 10 September 1938, in the oil town of Oloibiri along humid creeks of the Niger Delta. My father was the headmaster of the only mission school there. Before I was old enough to know my surroundings, I was already in a city called Port Harcourt where my father was again the headmaster of another mission school. This was in the early forties. The next environment where I found myself was in my home town, Kaiama. My father had been sent there to head a school yet again."[3]

He was many parts and different things to different people - a university students leader, a teacher, policeman and Nigerian army officer. An undergraduate student of chemistry and student union president at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he left school to lead an armed protest against the exploitation of oil and gas resources in the Niger Delta areas which benefitted mainly the federal government of Nigeria and Eastern region with capital in Enugu and nothing was given to the Niger Delta people. He believed that the people of the area deserved a fairer share of proceeds of the oil wealth. He formed the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, an armed militia with members consisting mainly of his fellow Ijaw ethnic group. They declared the Niger Delta Republic on February 23, 1966 and gallantly battled the Federal forces for twelve days but were finally routed by the far superior Federal firepower. Boro and his compatriots were jailed for treason. However, the federal regime of General Yakubu Gowon granted him amnesty on the eve of the Nigerian civil war in May 1967. He then enlisted and was commissioned as a major in the Nigerian army. He fought on the side of the Federal Government but was killed under mysterious circumstances in active service in 1968 at Ogu (near Okrika) in Rivers State.

Later Niger Delta activists like the late Ken Saro-Wiwa, who substituted Boro's gun for a pen, and Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, who heads an Ijaw armed insurgency, often referred to him as a major inspiration.

This same prophet was there when his brothers wife was being taken to almost all the European hospitals for treatment, he couldn't heal her oh.

Good morning nairalanders happy Sunday to you all. Please why is gold and Diamond plus other metals and stones very much expensive? My friend that wedded yesterday bought pure gold wedding ring set of 3 for $1050 I asked him if that ring will give them the best marriage, best kids and heal them when they fall sick but he says No? I start to ask why are these things so expensive that if you wear them you on a suicide mission if you don't have security? Or was it God that made it so?

I want to know because one of the reasons you feel she hates your family is because she has never visited your sister.
My brother's wife has never visited me without my brother but I have never felt that she does not like me, in fact we respect each other very much.
Also she had not visited your family before you got married, were you fine with that? She might not know that you expect her to visit your sister since you never indicated so during courtship.
You have not stated that she has disrespected them in any way she just isn't making an effort to get close to them. Is that right? In that case she might just be the type that like to mind her business in marriage.
You said she met your family only once before the traditional marriage. Since you want the type of woman that is very interactive with your family, I feel you should have created more opportunities for her to spend time with your family before you got married.

A little of what transpired between us two days ago. In one of the people we want to use for our wedding, the person she recommended charge a huge amount of money which I can not pay, then I contacted my sisters to look for other person's we can use lo and behold they found people with a big difference in price variations so I decide to settle with the ones my sister recommended hence they will render same quality of services. I Am having a very delicate family issues now. I am an only son of my family and 5 sisters all married, since I brought my wife to be to them they all love her with passion and they keep telling me to take good care of the girl, they keep warning me not to treat her bad.

My sister love my Wife with passion including my aged mother but my wife to be in return hates them openly to me.

She doesn't like me mention them before her or discuss any thing with them. But she adores her family so much. We have finished traditional marriage remaining church wedding which is next two weeks from today.

During our preparations my family has noticed her long mute with them in issues of our wedding arrangement, they ask me but I told them that my wife is a shy type that doesn't talk too much but I was lying.

N/B they have not done anything evil to her and they will not think about it because they all fear me but my confusion Now is why my wife hates them? One of my sister lives in the same city with my wife but she hardly visits her.

I am working currently with a federal government oil company or parastatals as a sports coordinator. I earn the same salary with a medical doctor except those with masters as I have 2.1 Bsc. God gives work so it doesn't matter what you read is the knowledge you acquire during The period of your course of Study. Get other skills while you are reading the course.
