As usual, every Sunday I use to buy live chicken at the chicken market Operated by the Northerners and today's Sunday was not an exception. After bargaining with the Price with a seller, he called a butcher who will kill it and arrange it for me. Because he is busy, he charge the butcher to collect his money for him. So I followed the butcher to watch him do the needful after doing the needful I gave him his butchering money and the money for the chicken but instead he took his money only and told me to give the seller his money. OK I continue to buy rice ingredients and stew you know what I mean na. Hmm so after everything I forgot to give the chicken seller his money I entered my Keke and drove off. Offloading everything in my house after 10km drive I realise when I want to remove my trousers that the major part of the cash I took to the market was with me. How can I eat this poor man sweat, this was the taught going inside me and if I wait till next Sunday I may not meet him or his Oga quickly I dress up and drove another 10km to the market. Getting there, the guy could not recognize me and they all crowded me with fowl, Oga buy from me. Oga my chicken is matured including the young Hausa man. I checked very well his dressing, I also move towards his fowl cage to be sure that he is the one and he hurriedly open the cage thinking I want to buy fowl but no I told him. I brought out the money before everyone there and give to him. People were surprised he was thanking me including his boss and every body around there. I simply told him that am an igbo man so we are upright and we don't cheat people. The thank you was much so I drove off with my Keke. The 4,800 would have lost if I were them. In my first job, I had such a boss that told me he won't put his signature on a poorly written memo. Thanks to his strict nature i later became very good at writing memos. At a point i was moved to a different department and had to write a memo that required his signature. He was so impressed, and told me that the particular issue i had written on was one which no one else had done properly and from then on he started sending people to copy that memo from me whenever they had the same issue.

You might say, it's just a memo, but if you can master memo writing you will have no problems with any other kind of business writing.

Bro I said he use to cancel his own write up. Some times he will ask me to come with the first one I wrote were he did correction. Some times he will ask me if he has done correction before? So that he will sign it without checking it again. Some times if I don't want him to vet I will tell him that a superior boss of his has vetted by doing so he will not do anything again. The man is very funny I tell you

I work in a federal government parastatals in the HR department. My former boss use to give me Kudos each time I present a memo to him to vet. Sometimes he will either see some corrections or he will sign immediately.

But since a new boss came na wahala oh. I will try my best with the help of Oxford dictionary newest edition to present a good memo devoid of grammatical blunder to him still either he cancels the entire write up or he writes his own. And some times when he write his own I will give it to the secretary to type and after that I will present it to him for him to sign but instead of signing it he will cancel it again his own write up oh. Some times I will spend a whole day presenting one memo.

I Am confused now that if there is a memo I will write it any how and then present it to him because no matter how I tried he will do correction.

I seem to have this issue bothering me about baptism. After receiving Christ into your life its always expected that you undergo some training in order to keep you firm in the faith. But that's not the case here, I was baptized in 2012 at ECWA goodnews church in jos, and yesterday at our church team training at RCCG in Abuja, we were told that it was necessary that we all be baptized if we wanted to become a full member of the team.Despite the fact that I made it known that I was already baptized before, but due to the fact that it wasn't in RCCG I was told that I must be baptized again in RCCG, as it is the church's tradition. I have being disturbed ever since. Is that to say that the first baptism by the other church is being undermined?
