Pls, mamas in the house based in Port Harcourt. I need your recommendations on a very good hospitals.I and DH were using Pamo Clinics before now. Of recent their standard has gone down. They are understaffed and have a lot of rude staff. The Doctor there after I had a positive PT never even mentioned anything like prenatal vitamins or Folic acid. Asked me to come register ante natal when i am 12 weeks gone. It was even my personal research on babycenter.com and this thread, that made me know i was supposed to be taking Folic acid and other vitamins. I don't feel safe using them at all, can't risk my first baby with those kind of doctors. Please, kindly suggest the good hospitals you know and have used in Port Harcourt.Thanks a lot.

Prime medical consultants is very good, its in cocain estate. First rivers on aba road by first bank bus stop is superb too. Save a life mission hospital off stadium road is very very nice but pricey. Obio cottage hospital in rumuobiakani is good too if you can stand the crowd, cheap too. Happy bumping.

Babyhugg is good but they don't have bigger sizes after size 3...
I went back to molfix cos of dt.... Crappy n not as absorbent as babyhugg but i no gef choice.

Coachie baby hugg has size 4 oh. Its size 5 they don't have. I've been seeing it in that our "corner". I didn't buy cuz my son wears size 5 and i'm scared it won't fit.

She's always throwing up after taking it and am surprised she doesn't like it because it's sweet. She has taken bitter P Alaxin and other antibiotics without throwing up or spiting like a preggy woman but vit c ehn is another thing.

I should think so. My son will never never never keep zinc tablets down. He MUST throw it up. Even tried to give him when he is hale and hearty, he still threw it up. So i don't bother buying it.

It depends on your budget.
If you don't mind spending more, go to First Rivers Hospital or Prime Medical or Save A Life Hospital. Their services are worth the price.
Obio cottage hospital is good, from what I hear. It costs less than the above hospitals, but usually crowded. Military hospital is good, but you need permission from the military if you're not a soldier's dependant.
Let's not forget Teaching Hospital and BMH. They cost little but require that you sacrifice your time and be very patient.

Had my son in military hospital, i'm never going back there. Their nurses are witches, no jokes.
And you don't need to be a soldier's dependant to use them, at least i'm not.

You are right about obio, they are really good and cheap, the crowd chased me away.

Simas of all butter simas is not for pastries ooo it's only for rice the salt level no be here. Pls endeavour to check and taste what u are giving ur child b4 u give him/her even if it's cereal taste it first. u can try napal butter, oldenburger(unsalted)..

Thanks ma. I always taste his food, that's why i didn't give him at all. Just threw everything out.

Ijebu woman using butter to cook for lo isn't a must other alternatives like pure coconut oil and olive oil can be used to fry or cook his food.

Or you get stock from live chicken not frozen cos of preservatives, the fat/oil in it is equally good.

I use chicken fish or beef stock for Ekenes noodles, rice and porridge.

Butter is when available.

My sister, ijebu brain is needed oh. Shebi our parents didn't do all these serenren and we still grow well na.
Ok so olive oil is as good as butter for his meals? I'm learning oh. Might get both and then know which i'll prefer. Thank you so much.

Lol. Sorry. The simas I know is mainly used in mixing barter (hope I got that right) for cakes and pastries.

Yes, i've used it for cake before too. The lady there said i could also use it to fry. I guess i never realized it was that salty when i used it for cake. Now i know better.
