Mamas please you people should help me, i'm not quite sure if there is a problem that needs tackling or something.
My son just had his first hair cut. I'm soooo emotional and even tearing up. Same way i felt at 6 months when i had to introduce other meals after EBF. In fact i ended up not being able to give him that day. It was the next day he finally ate and everyone had to put mouth. Same thing happened at his 1yr birthday, i was just shedding tears but i kept wondering why. Now this? How can i be crying upandan because my son had a haircut and so he is growing too fast. What does this even mean? Everybody is just looking at me as if i'm crazy and I'm beginning to be worried. To be honest, i prepare for these things, but when its time, i start acting funny.
Please is this a problem? Maybe a psychological one?? If so, pls how can i get help? Or is this normal?

Please for 12 months immunization, is it 4 or 5 jabs out of the 6 vaccines listed? I know vitamin A is oral. Or is there any other oral one?

We did the lazy parent approach and had only a photo shoot at home.

For the photo shoot I will say wait till another day. Even on a normal day, babies are unpredictable with photos. Not to talk of a day that they have punctured every where with needles.
Check your phone for a good clear photo the printer can use, maybe one that you took him recently may be going to church or another party.

For the party packs - you can add a story book, packs of sweets and biscuits., small toys. Crayons or colour pencils and colouring books.

For an alternative to the colouring books you can go online and print out some colouring sheets. Download a few as a jpg format and print it out on A4 - back and front and staple together.

For games it depends on the age. If they are under 3, e go tough oh. you can have a little story time and song time with actions.
Games like musical chairs and musical statues are also good for older kids.
A fashion parade is also an option.

You could also do pass the parcel, where you wrap a gift inside like 10 different wrapping papers and you sing a song whilst passing the parcel from one person to the other. when the song ends the person with the parcel, opens a wraper. And on and on until the last person opens the last weaker and wins the gift.

If you have a crawling babies you could do a baby crawling contents where the babies "race" from a starting line to a finish line, one of their parents will usually be at the finish line to encourage the baby,

That's all I can think of for now.

Mamas o, please help say a word of prayer for my little sunshine and to thank God for his faithfulness.

God has been 100% faithful to us in every area. From preggy days till delivery, till now, he has kept us in the hollow of his hands.

Childbirth had been my biggest fear in life, in fact i never thought i could have a vagina birth because i'm as weak as they come. My threshold of pain is alarmingly low, so low that people around me keep asking "you go fit born so" even as a single girl. Even DH considered elective CS for me. But the strength of Jesus is made perfect in our weaknesses.
God gave me the smoothest delivery ever, in my travail, Jehovah Ebenezer was there to help me. At 8cm, i became overwhelmed and started crying for a CS, but my baby was already making his way out and we hurriedly ran to the delivery room. One push had my son out crying out his lungs and i couldn't believe i had overcome my biggest fear. The Lord God came through for me.

From delivery up until now, we've not had any reason to go to the hospital. Jehovah rapha went a step further from giving us divine healing in times of sickness to keeping us in divine health.

Today i look back and can't help but shed a few tears. No man could have done these things. We are so grateful to you Lord.

Chiziterem, you have indeed brought immense Joy to our lives and i cant help but bless God for your life. On this day i decree as your mother, that your days on earth will be long and thoroughly satisfying, you will grow in wisdom and in the knowledge of Christ your savior and redeemer. You will be a terror to the kingdom of darkness and a delight to the kingdom of heaven. You will never derail in your walk with God. No good thing will the Lord withhold from you. Just as you have added color to our lives, may your life always be colorful. You will be outstanding in anything you venture into. A pathfinder, a trailblazer and a force to reckon with will you be upon the face of the earth. Oh dear son, i have so much to say, but time and space. But my heart desires for you are all known by your creator and he will grant them all.

musical chair they turn chair facing different directions and the kids dance around till the music stops. You can google parlor party ideas for kids for more inspiration

hmmm. musical chairs will work well indoors. same with face painting.

you can also come up with current affairs questions or simple maths questions (quiz) and have the kids answer within a given timeframe.

you can also play character games. eg. pretend to a kangaroo and jump around like one and have them guess what animal you are.

for all the games/competitions, you will have to hand out a prize (no matter how small) to each winner.

its best to get the jabs after the birthday party. last thing you want is a cranky baby added to the stress of planning a party.

Activities:
*you can get a bouncy castle (not sure if they come cheap in PH but there is no harm asking/shopping around/negotiating). bouncy castle is usually well loved by kids at parties and it keeps them very occupied.
*face painting for kids (and maybe agbaya adults ) is another favourite for kids. again, i do not know how much this will cost but shop around, check instagram and negotiate as well
*you also have to keep the parents entertained, so it is a good idea to get a DJ (or buy DJ mixtape CDs) to play music non-stop.
*musical chairs competition for both kids and adults is also very exciting.
*sack race competition for both kids and adults is another good idea.
*splitting the kids into two teams and have each child take penalty kicks (an adult that act as the goalkeeper). the team that scores the most goals wins. this activity can also be done by the adults.

party packs:
plastic whistle, pencil, eraser, small notebook, assorted lollies, small plastic rulers, key holder, colourful hair bands/ribbons, fashion hand bands, plastic combs, sharpener, crayons, small colouring book. .. .

your baby's reaction at 9months immunization would give an hint. The shot isn't as bad as previous ones. Just to cry at the point and that's all so I think the photoshoot can still be done. The picture shows the things I included in the party pack

Studio 24 is fine but I suggest you go with a few props or confirm what props they have.
Do the immunization after the party
small drinks (like ribena), biscuit, small plate/feeding bowl (see this thing is a charm, I have not bought 1 single plate for my baby, all our feeding bowls came from various party packs), pencil, colouring book.
Fun games depends on age range. Musical chairs is always a hit, dancing competition, if you can afford a bouncy castle go for it

i'll advice from my own experience;

Take the immunisation shot after the birthday, a week later isn't too late...the 12 months immunisation na 4 shots o (1 on each hand and on each thigh). Altho my Zara just cried small after the shots, ate food and slept the pain away

for my party pack, I packed - biscuits, sweets (lollipop), juice, coloring book, customized cartoon stationery set (ruler, pencil sharpener and eraser). We gave the school a cake, which they also shared for the kids.

3rd question - we had our party at school, so I didn't bother

Please o mamas, help your girl. Our birthday is tomorrow but the party will be on Sunday, i'm trying hard to put a plan together but a few hitches here and there. Pardon me if some sound ridiculous like the first nw. We plan to go for our photoshoot tomorrow(shebi any good studio like studio 24 can do it, i'm in ph) as he will be exactly one tomorrow but tomorrow is also his 12 months immunization and we have to go in the morning. The question now is will he be in a good mood ans and smile well seeing that the 12months immunization plenty no be small? Or do i schedule it another way? Because we need to drop the pics with the printer to start work on the customized exercise books same tomorrow.
Second question : Please any ideas for things we can add to the gift pack apart from the exercise books, very very affordable things please.
Third question : Ideas on fun games they can play that day. Its a small party, with just few kids but i really want them to have a good time.

Please mamas don't jump and pass (especially if you've been down this road) as i'm planning this alone.
Tips on ways to save cost will be appreciated too pls.

Jehovah Rapha heal any infirmity in her body and make her a joyful mother of children, let her quiver be so full that years from now she will come back here seeking family planning methods. And from her time of conception till delivery, her babies will be preserved and she will never cast them because the spirit of molec has been defeat by the finished work on the cross of calvary.
She must testify and soonest too oh Lord because you said "concerning the work of my hands, command ye me".
This her step of faith must produce.
