Not judging them, but it's shallow My sister thank you for your kind words, I am indeed humbled. chiefololade: Maximum respect to you sir, but I don't think they will be going as steam 2 again, as I don't see them going anytime before July. Reason being that Ramadan will start in 2 weeks time and camping cannot go on by then, so it's definitely after Ramadan. Don't forget same thing happened with stream 1 as it was postponed because of the Christian fasting before easter, don't know if you observed that. Once again, it's my personal opinion.
Ire oo I hail you bro Nothing is stopping them from going as stream 2 and in fact it is sacrosanct they will be going as streams 2. I am not aware of your assertion above, all I know is that the postponements witnessed from the onset were as a result of no fund and waiting for the budget to be passed. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › 10 Reasons Mourinho Is The Wrong Man For Man Utd! by amodu(op): 5:17pm On May 23, 2016 |
Jose Mourinho is expected to replace Louis van Gaal as Manchester United boss this week, but here are 10 reasons why the Old Trafford outfit might want to reconsider...
1. TACTICALLY OUTDATED | Ever since taking over Real Madrid in 2010, Mourinho has not evolved in a strategic sense. While his favoured 4-2-3-1 system is still popular in the Premier League, none of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus or Atletico Madrid use it. Mourinho’s philosophy of a rigid formation protected by a flat back four and double midfield pivot has become predictable and overly pragmatic.
2. ANTI-FOOTBALL, NOT ATTACKING FOOTBALL | One of the principle reasons for sacking Van Gaal is his sterile brand of possession football. It is farcical, then, that in a bid to bring the buzz back to Old Trafford, United have now turned to a coach renowned for a defence-orientated, counterattacking game. Against top opposition, Mourinho's teams nearly always set out to destroy rather than create. Hardly 'the Manchester United way'.
3. HOMEGROWN HATER | Jose Mourinho's record of bringing young players through the ranks – or lack of one – is infamous. Would the likes of Jesse Lingard, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Marcus Rashford or Timothy Fosu-Mensah have broken into the first team under Mourinho? No chance.
4. COMPLETE STYLE CHANGE | Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola are coaches who have been hired to develop the existing styles and tactics already deployed at Chelsea and Manchester City. Mourinho's tactics are nothing like what Louis van Gaal has been playing at Man Utd, so the team will have to start again from scratch.
5. NO CLASS, NO DIPLOMACY | Whatever one's views on Manchester United's supposed moral high ground, it is easy to understand why club legend Bobby Charlton was against appointing Mourinho as Alex Ferguson's successor. He's eye-gouged a fellow coach, played a direct role in the retirement of a referee and, most recently, made a female team doctor's position completely untenable. Charlton said that while Ferguson respected Mourinho, "he doesn't like him too much". Few do.
6. RELATIONSHIP WITH JORGE MENDES | The most powerful agent in the world, Mendes is so close to Mourinho that he reportedly had his own office at Real Madrid during his friend’s reign. This has led to many of Mendes’ players moving to Mourinho clubs, but will this be healthy for Man Utd? The laughable loan signing of Mendes client Radamel Falcao for Chelsea last summer illustrates the risks of such a relationship.
7. SHORT-TERM BLINKERS | Instant success is everything Mourinho stands for and why he's being hired, but that's not what Fergie saw as the Manchester United way. Any talk of the club developing a dynasty will be torpedoed and all that will matter is the next result, the next win, the next trophy.
8. MAN UTD BOARDROOM BATTLE | Transfer chief Ed Woodward is believed to be the architect of Mourinho's impending arrival at Old Trafford but few others at boardroom level are convinced the Portuguese should be hired, including Ferguson. If Mourinho flops, the pressure to turn form around will mount rapidly.
9. POOR PEP RECORD | One of the biggest challenges for Man Utd next season will be competing with Manchester City and Guardiola. Although he's had the occasional success, the 2010 Champions League most memorably, his record vs Pep's Barcelona while at Real Madrid was noticeably inferior.
10. MIXED TRANSFER RECORD | Over £300 million has been thrown away on transfers like Marouane Fellaini, Memphis Depay and Angel Di Maria since Ferguson retired in 2013. Meanwhile, Mourinho's transfer record is littered with expensive flops like Ricardo Quaresma, Amantino Mancini and Nuri Sahin, as well as terrible sales like Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Arjen Robben. |

Residents to police chief: come to our rescue
by Fatimah Abdul, May 23, 2016 at 12:00 am in City Beats
Some Lagos residents yesterday complained of what they called high armed robbery and cult killings rate.
On a phone-in radio programme monitored by our reporter, callers from Ikotun, Maryland and Ikorodu claimed that they were at the mercy of the hoodlums.
They lamented the police inability to arrest the situation despite Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s huge investment in security.
They called on Police Commissioner Fatai Owoseni to ask his men to wake up. According to them, the 10-minute emergency response crime is not complied with by the officers.
Some residents of Ikotun alleged that the armed robbers have taken over their streets. A caller, Segun Adesola, said the local vigilantes on the streets were nowhere to be found whenever the robbers struck.
“We beg Governor Ambode to come to our aid by providing effective security for us in Ikotun. This is getting too much,” he said. Another caller said last Thursday around 9:30pm, armed robbers in a black Nissan Pathfinder Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) began robbing from Costain to Ikorodu Road, during a traffic standstill. Two persons were shot and many motorists robbed, he claimed.
Corroborating the story, Taofeek Olohuniyo said passengers inside a BRT bus almost flew out of the vehicle for the fear of being attacked.
Olohuniyo said: “I was in a BRT bus which I joined from Onipanu. As we were approaching Maryland underground tunnel, we met a standstill of vehicles while some individuals left their cars and started running for their lives.
“Our driver had to stop immediately. We saw a black SUV few distance away with its lights on. On realising that it is a robbery, passengers started panicking and the atmosphere turned rowdy. Some beckoned on the driver to open the doors while some objected to it. Some were of the opinion that he should reverse but that is somehow difficult as the bus was filled to the brim.
“The armed robbers fired and our driver was utterly confused on what to do after opening the doors and closing them back, he left his cubicle to join us as we waited amidst fear. After like 10 minutes, the SUV sped off, people rushed back to their cars while some went to sympathise with the robbery victims before our driver drove off.” Abdulogy is her monicker, she is a young and vibrant reporter with penchant and passion for journalism. I enjoin us all to wish our own well in her endeavour. Cc: Lalasticlala |

The every morning parade and the likes, boring lectures and unproductive SAED are highlights of the stressful activities while the social activities ranging from welcome party, carnival, dancing & drama competition which I also participated, Mr Macho and Miss NYSC, and Man'O War drill the best thing I enjoyed most in camp are the highlights of the fun-filled activities. All in all, it is a wonderdul experience. |
