The Despicable State of Roads in Sango Ota and its Environs
Sango Ota has become a dreadful location to come around particularly because of the state of the road. Wherever you are coming from, you will have to pause to think first, then ask yourself if you are going through Sango Ota. If you are coming from Abeokuta heading for Sango or Lagos, then you start praying about Iyana-Ilogbo junction where you are compelled to reduce your speed, slowly drive through the unavoidable potholes and if you are not careful, you may loose one of your bumpers to the road. If you are going from Lagos to Ifo or Abeokuta, then you have to maintain your gentleman speed the moment you get to Sango garage. God help you if it didn’t rain but if it happens to be one of the days that God decides to open the Heavens, then you will have to drive your car as submarine through the side of the bridge. Lucky you, if you are able to make it to Joju bus-stop on time. You may just say a partial Thanksgiving prayer because the hurdles continue through the junction where we have ConOil Petrol Station where Tankers fall like no man business due to the humpy-bumpy state of the road there. Ijako U-turn will give you a slight handshake as it releases you to go face your waiting ditches (though temporarily sand-filled but waiting for the next downpour) in Owode. A little while ago, some of my friends went for a colleague’s naming ceremony at Ifo, the two cars that went landed at the Panel beater’s workshop the following day.
Closer to the heart is the condition of Sango underbridge to Owode-Idiroko road. Sunday is always a terrible day to ply this route. A very deep and deadly ditch has found a place for itself just a little after TKB Shopping Complex directly adjacent the Iju/Atan/Owode/Idiroko park. No small vehicle goes through that route again, as if that is not enough, another terrible ditch has found its way to dwell at the front of Chitra Company opposite Lombardi Plastic. This is so worse that no vehicle goes through that route again rather, they go through one-way taking the divert opened within the culvert. Some regular commuters resident in Sango most times have to go through Toll-gate to negotiate Oju-Ore if they don’t want to pay homage at the Panel beater’s workshop the following day. Can you even avoid this totally? Coming back especially from Iju/Atan/Winners is a “daymare” that no prayer point has been able to save. The anguish begins from Iyana-iyesi where you carefully dodge every pothole and ditch provided it has not rained. You don’t spend less than 20-30mins there, then you proceed to Estate/Honda where you have several unavoidable ditches, for every time your car hits the ground, it’s like your head has just hit the floor. Few minutes after heaving a sigh of relieve, you proceed to face Obasanjo junction massive go-slow….just following slow and steady and without struggling, you can spend 30minutes there. You can’t negotiate your way again from facing the traffic at Fowobi U-turn in order to join the final struggle which is the Oju-ore unavoidable traffic. Your best bet at this point is to wind down, grab a bottle of cold drink and replay your lesson on patience. It may move and it may not but you will just have to act as the occasion demands. By the time you check the time difference, you might not have spent less than 2 precious hours between Iyan-iyesi and Oju-Ore. I am a victim of this every Sunday and this is caused by nothing else than the state of the road. How long are we going to continue in this? Either it is a Federal or State or ECOWAS road, I believe, good road is one of the few things we should enjoy. We need help from whoever can offer it, be it government, Individual or Corporate bodies, let someone help us out. Winners’ Chapel has been of tremendous help because we can’t even count how many times they have filled the ditches just to create some palliative solution but is this what we will continue to live on? I can’t even talk about the uncompleted or abandoned one on Ijoko road. Let’s not even mention Lusada and Agbara road. Please let anyone who is sent, bring Sango Ota and its environs out of this despicable condition.

Congratulations girl, great FPI my Alma Mata, same department..... Never rest on your oars.... Nigeria has not overcome BSc/HND discrimination and highly cerebral people like you can be frustrated if you don't break the degree barrier..... Age and time is still on your side. Take advantage of the offer you have been given but proceed to get a BSc (Funaab or Crescent) can be helpful, I have been there. All the best.

Don't relent in searching for better offers and opportunities but in the mean time endure everything that comes your way until you have it full. The moment you have it full, you will be forced to get out. Once you are out, you sure will get something that will value you and appreciate your delivery capacity.

PoliticsRe: Buhari First Blunder Why I Oppose Relocation Of Military Command-ifeduba by amolegs: 9:53am On May 30, 2015
ifedubatoochukw:
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Abuja directed the central command of the military to relocate to Maiduguri, Borno, to intensify the fight against Boko Haram insurgency.

Buhari, who gave the directive in his address after his inauguration, said it was impossible to achieve victory against the insurgents if the command continued to operate from Abuja.

He said that the command center would relocate and remain in Maiduguri until the insurgents were subdued.

No where in the History of world military History will the military central command be located right in the combat zone it is the height of unprofessional-ism which is about to force me to revisit the issue of Buhari certificate scandal. let us use the United state of America model as a case study .

Military Central command are non combatants they are not infantry units but expertise from various field of course

Structure

Central Command headquarters staff directorates include personnel, intelligence, operations, logistics, plans & policy, information systems, training & exercises, and resources, and other functions. The intelligence section is known as Joint Intelligence Center, Central Command, or JICCENT, which serves as a Joint Intelligence Center for the co-ordination of intelligence. Under the intelligence directorate, there are several divisions

In the United State the Central Military Command directs four "service component commands" and one subordinate unified command and no fighting units directly subordinate to it:

The United States Army Central (USARCENT), and the United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT), both headquartered at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, the U.S. Marine Forces Central Command (USMARCENT), headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida and the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (USNAVCENT), headquartered at Naval Support Activity Bahrain in the Kingdom of Bahrain. MacDill Air Force Base also hosts a Sub-unified command called the Special Operations Command Central (USSOCCENT).

In 1983, U.S. Military Central Command was established to succeed the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force, formed at MacDill AFB, Florida on 1 March 1980, to handle US national security interests in Southwest Asia, Central Asia and the Persian G

The USA Central Military Command main headquarters is located at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, Florida. A forward headquarters was established in 2002 at Camp As Sayliyah in Doha, Qatar, which in 2009 transitioned to a forward headquarters at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar to serve American strategic interests interest in the following countries as the Area of Responsibilty.

Area of Responsibility Countries for USA Central Military Command Located in Mac Dill Air force Base in Tampa Florida..

Afghanistan
Bahrain
Egypt
Iraq
Jordan
Kazakhstan
Kuwait
Kyrgyzstan
Lebanon
Oman
Pakistan
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Tajikistan
Turkmenistan
U.A.E.
Uzbekistan
Yemen

Tactically its a great Blunder for Mr Buhari to relocated the Military Central command right into sambisa forest when he knew quite well that these people are non combatants they are not infantry soldiers and their area of responsibilty covers a wider area than just boko haram. they monitor , deploy and protect both Nigeria air land and water from both internal and external aggression.

Relocating Nigeria military Central Command to frontline war zone is the most senseless decision any president have ever taken and such action is capable of endangering Nigeria external security an outside force may invade the nation of Nigeria in time like these..

This wrong decision calls for us to revisit Buhari certificate scandal and how he come about his title of Major General when he is incapable of simple kindergarten Military Decision

Ifeduba ThankGod T ( political Analyst writes in from Anambra state)
don't you think you are finding fault? Out of that inaugural speech, the first thing you could see was a blunder............... I am not sure it is a good way to start.

Habaaa What about those who steal trillions? Unjust justice...
.... Could ds be justice? Wen the Common man steals, we remember there is a section of the constitution that has been violated and EFCC will remember their job description by then but when the "powers that be" steal, we all look away or ask for make it look like "it is not too bad". Let's all remember that "unjust weight is an abomination to the Lord".

RomanceRe: 7 Places Sex Starved Dudes Stylishly Romance Ladies by amolegs: 12:43am On Apr 12, 2015
wristwatch:
Some guys can't control their sexual urge which somehow they use stylish ways to romance ladies in order to get satisfied.

Therefore, the places they stylishly romance ladies are;

1. In a commercial bus

This is peculiar to BRT, danfo and journey buses. However, due to the bad nature of Nigerian roads which serves as a catalytic process for dudes to express their "konji", they seize the moment of galloping to stylishly hit ladies bosom. Also for BRT(standing position), such dudes stylish hit their joystick against a lady's backyard to satisfy their urge.

2. At shopping mall

Though less common @ this place but it happens atimes when there is long queue to the cashier place. Somehow some dudes spot en downed ladies to stylishly have body contact with them.

3. Banking hall

Some banks are synonymous with long queues and as a result some guys book space in front of heavily gifted lady to enjoy her pillow.

4. On okada (Bike)

I remember one day I took a bike and d bike man stopped to carry a wickedly gifted bosom lady. Mehn! That day my joystick sang halleluyah still I get to my destination. Lol no be my fault "I be human being nah"

5. Polling unit

Some polling units have crowd and as a result of pushing and other things to vote early, some dudes seize the opportunity to having free access to her oranges.

6. Aptitude test centres

Due to struggle for job taking the last immigration exercise as a good example, some dudes enjoyed d moment while it last on some ladies without them knowing someone is enjoying free Internet browsing.

7. At bus terminus

During rush hour everybody struggle to get bus @ bus terminus especially in Lagos and as a result of severe rushing, some guys stylishly grab ladies orange and tap current hitting his machine gun against the lady's butt.

Feel free to add yours cool
please how do I post on Nairaland?
