it's shameful to call what m seeing here, a state capital, despite huge industrial clusters, proximity to Lagos, huge IGR
Well, ask those that claim Ogun State is heaven of IGR...that is their capital Abeokuta ...i fokt want to talk about those clusters like Sagamu, Ijebu Ode, Sango Ota etc...then you would sater asking critical questions why the towns look that way

Even Lagos....60% of Lagos is slum. Trust me on this !

This was your question and you have been given the answer.

If you like shift goal post, na your palaba bi dat.

1. Because Dangote is a public quoted firm, it is not owned by Dangote? See the owners of Honeywell. Honeywell flour mill is located in Shagamu.

2. Is Innoson an international firm? See the founder of Proforce below. The factory is located in Ode - Remo.

3. Who doesn't know Rite foods factory is located in Ososa - Ogun state?

4. Who doesn't know Deebee wines factory is located in Ijebu Ode?

Did you see the number 5? Petrolex petrochemical industrial estate located in Ogun state? Bhuhahahaha!
Oga when a firm is publicly quoted one person isn't owner ...you can say one person has majority shares but the ownership of that firm is public

Rite foods is right...and proforce is international

Have a good day

Got better things to do for the week ! Talk to you later in the day or by weekend.

this can't be a state capital
Toy wouldn't believe me ...that is Abeokuta the capital city or town or whatever if Ogun state...it's not far from Lagos...from Iyana Ipaja you can enter a bus to twin ogun towns of Sango Ota and Abeokuta...They all look alike but Abeokuta is pooorer especially the Abeokuta North, it looks like a time travel to 12th Century BC...

Abeokuta is the capital of Ogun ana where that Olumo rock is situated.....and trust me! That place doesn't look like a capital at all...and doesn't even look like a modern city.

I wish not lie against anyone .. this is picture from Olumo Rock ...please look at the capital city of the almighty Ogun ! Then imagine as other towns and places would look like !

Pictures don't lie

oga close ur mouth.Igbo's na waka waka. so your hoods are not hidden. we have seen it all. I did ma Nysc in Ogun state. I have been to ur Abeokuta, ifo, ijebu ode, sagamu, remo, ikenne, ewekoro and they all tell the same story. so much poverty n underdevelopment in the land. the first day I travelled to see my guys in Abeokuta from ifo,my mouth was wide agape. the kind of ancient old dirty buildings that dots Abeokuta once u have left that ilaro junction and proceeded to the state capital was aweful. intact Abeokuta north is poverty infested. Abeokuta south is a bit OK. there is a semblance of modernity in that side. ijebu ode is just an old town dotted with dirty old buildings and rusted brown roof.
so stop listing your region as if they are places we haven't been to. and if u doubt me,I will post a picture of where awolowo was buried. our endurance trek ended at his residence

How on earth will you compare Yoruba people with those cave dwellers whose ancestors were dwelling with monkeys and other wild animals as at the time the great sons and daughters of Yoruba were setting the pace in this country ?

Till eternity, Igbo as a people will never measure up to the great Yoruba people in all spheres of human endeavors. Yorubas are the pride of the black race, the beautiful Nubia !

Our civilisation is ageless. it is not by accident that Yoruba took all the first positions in every record breaking achievement in this country.
Let the fools check out the records - education, Law,Medicine,Engineering, Entertainment etc. Only a fool will even attempt to compare Ibadan with a goddamn Onitsha or whatever. As at the time those famous structures ( brown roof) were being erected, Igbo progenitors were still sharing tree tops with wild monkeys.

Meanwhile, thunder faya their moda according to that fulani boy.

This is international and I dog want to even talk local...have you asked yourself why Anambra And Igbo have the highest cut off...it's our intelligence. Have you asked yourself why superior thinking is called Igbo sense. Even the USA recognised Igbo as the most intelligent race in Africa...the only regret is that we share the same country with people that uses broom to cook ewedu soup ...a s their fathers are so afriad to stand on their own that they fought Igbo to be together and their children are begging and fighting Igbo to stay with them....can't you see that Yoruba mental laziness is genetic and congenital

University education is the ultimate and Yoruba always leads.
Thus, the state, which is the largest subnational economy in the country, accounts for 51.92 per cent of the domestic debt owed by the six states in the South-West.

Osun State with N147.7bn accounts for 14.2 per cent of the indebtedness of the South-West region while Ekiti State with N118.01bn accounts for 11.35 per cent of the domestic debt owed by the South-West geopolitical zone.

Ogun State accounts for 9.34 per cent of the domestic indebtedness of the region with a total of N97.09bn while Oyo with N94.14bn accounts for 9.03 per cent of the domestic debt of the region.

Lagos has the lowest Poverty Rate in Nigeria and by far best GDP in part of west and central Africa, with a low rate of 8.5% , Lagos economy is good that even bike riders, pure water sellers, prostitutes , akara seller, mai suya , agbo sellers , okirika sellers , galla hawkers and conductors make a good living and even have assets back in the village, yet some are born to be criminals
