There is this slight discomfort I have with these countries and their likes (Russia China North Korea etc). They are communist countries and they suppress Human Rights unlike the UK and the US.
Low-key, the freedom we are enjoying today was paid at a very high price by the involvement of the US in the WW2.
Judging fairly, had US lost the battle at the midway and D-day, we wouldn't be enjoying the freedom we have today.
Also, US intervention when Vietnam was growing into a powerful communist nation, and the US involvement in the North and South Korean War which the results we see today, shows the price that was paid to earn the freedom we have today.
