How is everyone going? Who has questions; I can assist as much as I am sure of. If you are feeling stressed on the process; Verbalise it someone might have the information. If you need a sample of SOP; I can help with that as well. Ask questions, do not rely totally on your agents. They only care about commissions from affiliated schools. I wish all expectants VISA GRANT!!! |

Before choosing your courses consider if it listed in the skilled occupation list. If you cant find anyone related to your previous study or you don't have a chance with it, you can change course on arrival. However, it is always better to do the right thing as changing will cost you extra money and time. Again, consider your age, If you are about a certain older age, do not go for diploma or college and don't even think of a certificate 111. Provide as much documents as you can. The trick is this; for every point you've raised in your SOP; especially regarding employment, studies or even volunteering, try as much as you van to provide a documentary proof for that. These things are easy. Notarize all your documents!!! Make your SOP very convincing!!! above all PRAY 4 Likes |

The statement of account which you intend to use (your sponsor's or yours), how much is the closing balance in it? Thats what you should convert to AUD. So long as you've printed the statement of account and notarize it, the balance in that statement of account that you should be uploading is what the question is about. IamNegan: |

you dont need all that, but if you can get that it will be a plus. I didnt include birth certificates. I got an affidavit of sponsorship sworn before the commissioner for oath. That document is very important. Let him sign SOP and go to court, tell the court clerks you want to get affidavit of sponsorship magastefan: |

just state that he is your uncle in your SOP. And let him do the same. Please also do an affidavit of sponsorship in your uncle's name. Make your documents as legitimate as possible.. magastefan: |

kessel:Medical background? Then you don't have a problem getting a job. Just package your resume and apply to as much as dissability or aged care agency as you can. One must click, once you get your first job, don't worry others go come. Make sure you use aussie resume. When asked about experience say yes. When asked about availability say you are available morning, afternoon, evening and sleepovers. Don't look at your sch timetable. Once the job comes then you can inform the roostering of your availability. Gd luck 1 Like |

Have anyone gotten dependent visa recently? Seems they have not been issuing much in recent time |
Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Amy3090: 10:32am On Jul 10, 2018 |
kessel: they all depend. disability jobs have more shifts and pays well as much as forklift jobs. You get good pay in both. Ideally, you should be concerned at getting any job first and then when you integrate into the system, you will be able to choose what you want. I am sending information out because so many people don't knw how difficult it is here. The benefits are there but you have to be strong. I almost came home initially because the stress was just unbearable, but a lot of people are really strong. If I could survive it, then anyone else can. come with both first and 2nd semester sch fees. Collect receipt for every accommodation fees, make sure you sign an agreement and keep your copy as so many people would want to prey on your ignorance by kicking you outta the house at will and may even call the police on you saying you are trespassing on their property, the police are gonna request for a rental agreement if you claim you are a genuine tenant. First aid and CPR tests are not expensive, virtually every job would request for it. If you are a nurse or a doctor or those sort of professions with laboratory etc, then it wont be difficult for you to get a job in hospitals. Say you have experience when applying for a job. Just ask for aussie resume, let people here send you a copy of theirs. overall, be very careful what to say and who you say it to. So many snitches and people are gonna misinterpret you and you are already on watchlist. If you can, DO NOT DATE ANYONE ON YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS HERE. focus on your studies and try as much as you can to get a job. you know come to look woman or man. NA study and hustle, when everything is balanced, you will know and carefully start a relationship; if you wish to. Remember to save money for a car and even if you are unable to buy one and an employer asks if you have a car, just say YES! 1 Like |

The Australian government no longer allows students visa 500 to undertake those course from certain providers. You could be lucky to get this job with just first aid and CPR. Just make sure you apply for jobs here with an aussie resume and not Nigerian resume. Overall, this is not to discourage anyone but please, come prepared. It is not a bed of roses like your agent must have told you. Be very genuine and do not commit any crime at all. Avoiding dating any girl here for the first 5 months on arrival. Be very cautious and vigilant. Do not engage in any activity that will jeopardize your visa. When you enter, don't go about buying stuffs. Carry enough cloths as they will tell you that clothes are cheap, my dear consider the exchange rate and save as much cents as you can. Just buy pot, plates and spoons. Most importantly, yoir studies is priority, once you fail any course, immi will be notified. Try not to fail fail, I trust niaja on this shaaa. 1 Like 1 Share |

Do not rely on anyone, I repeat, do not rely on anyone here in aussie unless is your immediate family. Infact, no one is willing to take extra stress. Unless you are contacting people for directions or general questions, no body has time or money to give you. Come for your studies prepared and pray for a job. Be careful with accomodation, certain people are just snitches and they smile to disguise. Trust God only. Pray pray and pray!!! Congrats to everyone. I was only lucky to get a job without the cert 111 and it took 2 months so you will need to be patient. When coming, bring money to registrr for individual support course(disability, age care, etc). It will assist you in getting a job. Do your first aid and CPR immediately, if you can drive a truck or forklift; great advantage. If you are still waiting for your grant, pray and trust Hod but in the meantime go and learn how to drive a forklift so when you come here yoy can apply for the test and license, then you start working immediately. Goodluck everyone. |

Only TAFE is allowed to offer aged care/disability training for international students here. And it costs about 7000 aud. They said bc other agencies doesn’t have ciroc. It’s disheartening and most aged care here wants u to have a certificate 111. Please if you know where I can do that training cheaper let me know. Anyone got a job too for me I will appreciate. Not easy again ooo. |
