I dont know how long the process for nmc currently takes, but you can try to get an inside person who may be able to facilitate the process for you. I have a contact that I am willing to share, but I haven't used him in a while and so am not sure how much he actually speeds up the process these days. You can send me an email for his contact.

Thank you so much at Vicky, would send you an email

Please are you planning to use any agency? Because I contacted Envertiz but they said they no longer recruit from developing countries
Try other agencies, they still do recruit

What it counts as is whatever the evaluator (iqas, ices, wes) says it is equivalent to. In the past, some people have been successful in isolating each degree and getting a report saying 2 or more certificates.
Provincial nomination means that the province (states) find you as a good fit to relocate and establish in their province. You mustn't have a relative there to nominate you (that only applies in some provinces such as Saskatchewan and manitoba). Each province have their criteria, so read about their criteria to know which you qualify for.
thank you Vicky for your timely response

Please friends @ vickyehi and others who are more informed I need answers to these questions. As a graduate nurse with RN, and RM and Bnsc,In comprehensive ranking system for Canada,do they count these qualification as just one with a degree,or one with a degree and diploma certificates? Also when the same provincial nomination,Are they talking about be nominated by a relative in Canada?

@sumbzie78, @babyyo8, @cyrilade01, @Yugotee
I sent you CBT materials as requested.

About the licence verification as an intern Nurse, I spoke to NMC uk about this issue recently and they said you can start your UK registration as soon as you pass your Nursing council exam. However, I have come to understand that NMCN might not want to send your license verification immediately you finish school but I'm not entirely sure if NMCN will refuse to give NMC UK your records when they request for it so it is worth a try, you can also try to get a letter from your school to claim that you have passed the Nursing council exam if NMCN refuse to send your verification and see if that makes a difference. If that doesnt work then my advice would be to start studying for and Writing the IELTS exam in the meantime.

If you want to be a midwife in the UK, you need to register for CBT midwifery, midwifery jobs are hard to get but not impossible, there are also few study materials Available for CBT midwifery. Unfortunately I dont have any. If anyone has materials for CBT midwifery please send them to me too. Thanks in advance.

If you did the 18 months Nursing program and you want to be an Adult Nurse in the UK, you only need to verify your 18 months Nursing qualification. You also need to inform NMCN and your school to send a letter to NMC UK saying your 18 months nursing program qualifies you to be a Registered Nurse.

@chuksozy if you have the funds then in my opinion relocating with your family at the same time is a good idea. Apart from the fact that you get everything done together as a family e.g visa, flights, gp registration etc, your wife will be more stable mentally to deal with the pressures of a new workplace and a new lifestyle. Living in a new country can be very stressful, intimidating and lonely. Avoid it if you can.

@MrsAnn thank you for defending @Bluebeard, you couldn't have said it better. We are all here to learn and mistakes are inevitable, I'm also learning from you guys here and most of the comments I read are enough to see me smiling through the day. I expecially laughed loud and long when bluebeard called vickyehi an auxiliary. I was like "what? You did not just say that!" Anyway, Thank you vicky for your diplomatic and intelligent answers and thank you @Auschris for clearing that misconception about Avant. It is nice to see you back on the thread.

Happy Nurses week to all the friends I haven't met yet, that includes you too! Please Stay safe during this pandemic.
Thank you so much Barbie for all you do for us here,i do follow you on youtube.thanks for all the information. Pls can you help me with the materials for CBT exam including those materials recently added.thank you in advance as I wait for your response

I really don't have first hand info about this but from the people I have seen so far, they go first then their spouse joins them later..... I think after their OSCE and they get their pin
The reason I asked this question is that I know of someone who travelled through avant healthcare to UK and after 3months,they sent for the husband and their son. So my question now is for me that doesn't want to go through any agency but want to go through the process of verification, writing my CBT exam and ielts and by God's grace successfully gets to UK,would they send for my husband after 3months or when?

You would be like everyother Canadian trained nurse. You would not need to write ielts or do anyother extra thing.
Good day Vicky, please I want to understand this information,Does it mean that after doing an Msc in nursing at Canada, that one is qualified to work as a trained registered nurse?please can you explain more.thank you for your responses so far and to all who has contributed.

[Thank you so much @vickyehi for your response.one more question in regards to the credential ranking service. What of writing nclex before the whole process comes through, can the nclex be written outside of canada give score or a gives a better chance at scoring that person?or can one write nclex before moving to Canada?.quote author=vickyehi post=88572648]
Check what your CRS score is at the link below, the higher your score, the better your chances. You should aim to score 470s above and that is dependent on your age at this point. After 30yrs, you loose 5 points on each birthday and loose all points for age at 35. You can also check the Express entry thread on nairaland for more info.

Goodday everyone, please what positive impact does having an Msc in public health have on a BSN graduate nurse who wants to live and work in Canada as a registered nurse.I learnt that that having an MSC gives you a better chance to entering Canada, please how true is this.
I also want to ask if I can start UK work process
as an intern nurse because I'm doing my internship,I want to know if I can start the registration now and also write the CBT exam.thank you as I await your response.
