gamechanger1: I just read your other post about your sister in law as regards the civil defence/nnpc job. All I want to say is be careful, these money for job deals almost never end up well. Dont throw your money away, you may consider getting a new skill to start a business.
Anyway if your connect is rock solid then you may give it a try but only if it is airtight Yeah I know that. Thanks |

shiki: Are you sure? Cos I went through your thread on 7th Jan. And you sound like one who's desperate for job and can discuss with anyone around ....my advice to you is that, since your hubby was the one to pay the money, you should have let him pay Discussing with people with info on what i seek does not make me desperate . |

If only people know what it means for top brands to pay millions monthly just for 30 secs to 1 min ads slots. It means your show is hot and you have millions of viewership. Why do you think multichoice had to rush quickly and re-engage their moneymakers, securing them with huge sums for the second season. The show is here to stay. My faves have blown. |

Too much adverts kills a show.Ratings from where is the money for the ads paid to them or to the channel showing it?Are they paid in $ Sisi na naira dem dey pay them and whatever revenue they get is not entirely paid to them.Nah your post is wishful thinking nothing more. You wish its wishful thinking. My people are swimming in money. |

I laugh in I'll be bigger than the big brother show. Yet they had to crawl and beg on their knees and also send emissaries to the show organisers so they can be put on the reunion show.
They needed the reunion show so they could resurrect their ailing career and drum up little publicity to sell 5 powerbanks. How shameful.
Talk about a dog going back to it's own puke. How disgusting. |

My fave from her show alone gets N200,000,000 every 6 months thats aside the millions she gets from other business ventures and endorsements. My fave will be the first ever bbn housemate to reach billionaire status. Your fave sells out 5 powerbank and you start disturbing the vicinity. Hahahaha. How pathetic. |

Kimbrielle: The Kardashians get paid 30 millions dollars per year.It is not the show that necessarily made them rich but it made them famous. And much of their money comes from theur businesses and endorsements. The reality show is just a little of it.If you think I am lying ask google. You cannot compare reality show in America to that of Nigeria do you get me?The adverts done in their show gets paid to the station showing the programme.
And nah I don't watch the show and will never watch it.Renew contract ko don't get ahead of yourself. Even the hyping self is dwindling you can't base a show of fake love no content for too long. First off, Mercy and Ike show isnt a show for Nigeria. Its a show for the entire continent of Africa. They've sold out the advert slots and they have have very high ratings. That my dear sis is what translates to the plenty $$$ that they're being paid. Let's leave out the exposure and growth to their individual brands. My faves are simply nobody's mates. I |

Kimbrielle: Stay pressed babe. After the reality show what next? You think it is easy to make such money in a reality show.I laugh ooo.Have you bought the house or car?Stay pained ooo Hahaha you're the one who sounds seriously pained. Keeping up with the kardashians have been on for over 10 years. You saw how the family became immersely rich and famous from that show? that's Mercy, Ike and their families in the next few years. You hearrd they're shooting the second season right? Thats how you'll hear that they've renewed their contract for 3,4,5, 6+ seasons. The Mercy and Ike show is here to stay Even After they het married. Do you also know the show broke the DSTV ratings record? The only entertainment people that are higher than Mercy and Ike is probably a few top musicians. But my faves have topped all nollywood actresses and most musicians. That's how they'll keep going higher and higher... And their brands growing bigger and bigger. I just couldn't be more prouder of my faves. P. S Dont forget to tune in to the Mercy and Ike show on your DSTV every sunday. |

Mercy and ike have their own reality show on the biggest TV platform in Africa. They are being paid hundreds of millions of naira for their effort.
I can't for the life of me compare my global celebrities to mere powerbank sellers (audio sellers for that matter that sold 5 powerbank and claim 500).
Mercy and her beau Ike are up there with the Alist African celebs and will kerp going higher and higher. They dont see trash up there in their kingdom, why should i? |

Flywheel212: As a woman you need wisdom to run your home especially when dealing with the inlaws. Sometimes you have to keep your knowledge aside. You should have gone with the first offer which was lesser amount then smartly chip in your doubt to your husband. If it crumbles your husband will trust your judgement next time, that will also put a stop to any further scam by her and you never would have been in a situation with your mother in law. But if for any reason it works you have nothing to lose ( besides what makes you think she can't pull it all the way from Lagos?, I only hope that offer wasn't genuine and your pride got the best of you). You messed up big time, apologise to them and agree on the offer. Did you read this thread from start to finish? Apologise to them for what? Aunty says she has a job offer for me and i told her i have another and i should apologise? Seems you're a scammer. You are not wise at all and your entire comment is complete bullocks. In every offer, there should be either an an acceptance or rejection. If I'm made an offer, i can accept or reject and not be made to feel guilty about that. I hope youre not a doormat to your inlaws all in the name of kissing ass. Inukwa apologise. |

udomma1005: You're not to be blamed but ur narrative points to the fact u re not enjoying strong comic relate with hubby. You would have just told him, "Baby, ur sis be like she gats major connects ooooo, imagine I nor want Civil Defense play, sharp-sharp she Don source NNPC Director connect,if na anoda person I for feel say na scam but I know say Aunty nor go fit dupe us,abi honey will u take the risk to pay her the money? idrezee: If your husband actually thinks an NNPC job can be sold for 500k then he is a Dundee United player. See even 2million you can't see an NNPC job.
May God save you from such inlaws but your husband is the cause of it all. He isn't based in Nigeria full time so he doesn't know how things are run here. |

NoToPile: You see the bolded is the reason why I am thinking those stating she doesn't have a good relationship with are husband are not being realistic.
Lots of male nairalanders have posted that they choose their family members over their wife, they have not yet drawn that line and I won't be surprised if its the same category that are saying she doesn't have a good relationship with her husband. For some men their family can do no wrong and that's the fact, we don't know the dynamics of their family so shutting the whole thing down seems the best.
Even if they have the best relationship, telling your husband you suspect that it might be a scam whether directly or indirectly is dicey.
Even if the SIL is not aware its a scam and she thinks she's trying to help from her contacts the best was to reject the offer politely.
You can almost never win when issues involves in-laws.
Its better they accuse her of being proud than hubbys 500k to get wasted in this economy.
Besides NNPC slot can never be 500k everybody knows this. You are wise! |

Ladycewhy: If it ended there ,why are you asking us if you did wrong? Ok let me answer your question, you didn't do anything wrong, your sister in-law is a scammer and your mother inlaw is evil, I hope thats ok by you? This is what you should have said since instead of talking out of point. Btw my MIL isnt evil and isnt part of the scam. Infact, she was scamned too as she was the one that actually paid for my co-wife. Her daughter is the scammer though. |

adisabarber: You don't know how government employment works in Nigeria. You expect a director to openly collect money from you? Yesso. The transfer trail is even what implicates them, so they prefer cash. |
