It's not Mike's fault that he was not born in Nigeria and it's not the fault of Mike's mom that she went to search for greener pasture thereby giving birth to Mike outside Nigeria. And for the records Mike is not a Jamaican as some people state here. His mom already gave birth to Mike before marrying his Jamaican step father. All Mike has ever done is try to identify with his Nigerian people. Majority of us here also have relatives and friends living outside the country to better their lifes, does that make them less Nigerians? Are we now Racists that we accuse the Whites of? It will be so unfair if Mike is judged based on where he was born. Mike is not perfect but he tries his best to be of good behavior. As for taking the money outside the country, The aim of bbnaija is touch individual lives.

He only said his mother was Nigerian though. If both his parents were Nigerians, he'll have just said my parents are Nigerian and not "my mother Is Nigerian"

He doesn't even claim Nigeria. Nothing about him says Nigeria except for links with IAAF only because his career as a British athlete was almost dead. The last time he was allowed to jump for the British in competition of note was 2009 (10 years ago when he was only 19). At 29, his career as an athlete is almost over because there are newer and younger breed coming out everyday. He doesn't stand a chance anywhere else except Africa.

So he remembered his Mum's home country and decided to try his hands on sports and other things. Nigeria was his last hope. Good gamble though. As he'll clearly be worshipped here after the show.

In week 2, Mercy beat Tacha to first spot by slight margin. Remember Ike was not up in week 2.
Tacha is one woman-army no love story around her.. Tacha will easily win when all are up cos Ike's fans will vote for Ike and not combine for Mercy

I'm an Ike fan but will vote Mercy in the finals since she's has more chances of winning. I'm sure some others share same sentiment as me.

She had a good chance truly. I was rooting for her when the show started...even had a fanpage opened for her on IG. But she ruined it the moment she said she was better than everyone else. I quietly withdrew. If only her Jaruma, her other celebrity friends and fans contribute all these voting money, they could easily gather like a 100M and gift her to start business. But they keep enriching show creators. She'll come 2nd or 3rd but that price money won't go to her.
