(1). What is the maiden name of your spouse?
(2). She asked about were I will be staying in the UK nd I explained the address I used was the address of my school
(3). Were will you quarantine when you get to the UK ? I answered by saying "in the hotel"....next I heard was whao.... although I think Nigeria students are not expected to quarantine...
Then she said if I have further questions I will send you an email (politely)....after the conversation when I looked back everybody was attentive infact driver don reduce the car stereo....I was in transit on that day...lol!!�

Lol. I can imagine the scenario. Everybody in the bus don hear say you dey go UK but I bet nobody will have the courage to ask you.

My biometric appointment is still days ahead. Does anyone know if submitting the document on my biometric appointment day be possible or I should just cancel the application and re-apply?

Just take it along. Pay for assisted service. They will upload it for you. No need to cancel application biko.

You need to show maintenance funds of 9207. Add this to 7500 or 6000 depending on whether you got a discount of 1500 or not.

Times this by 567, 580, 600 or 650 depending on the oanda rate you want. You will know.

Add the visa fees, ihs fees, and TB test.
Also priority /walk in fees if you want.

Don't be quiet biko.

You have a chance of getting the visa if you explain and they investigate and see that no big deal, it is what you said than for them to find out. You will be denied and barred.

Answer truthfully and explain why. There is a space for additional information, if it is not enough write a letter, explain what happened and upload it. And pray.

It's not compulsory to buy return ticket. You are good with single.
You pay for priority on the tls site after you have paid visa and ihs at the ukgov site.

You pay for priority in pounds. So you need a foreign currency denominated card as your naira card will not go.

That is a question you will have to weigh carefully and answer yourself.
It depends on how much is involved and what you stand to gain.

There are more than two people from this thread in recent times who have received it and still gotten their visa. There are many others from longer times.

Do not panic please. Its just saying it may take longer than the stipulated working days.
Prepare for interview just in case.

Yes. You have to go very very early or to be safe, write your name down the day before.

Hello all, please what is TLS, IOM and how do i go about it. Im still waiting for my 28days so i can show my proof of funds to teesside.

TLS is where you book appointment for biometrics, pay for assisted service, priority or any other Value added service you want. You only get access after you submit your application and pay for visa fees and ihs.


IOM is the clinic where you do your tuberculosis test. You need an appointment or you go there physically to write your name down. You must upload the TB certificate with your documents.

Just write a letter and hold it along.
Also hold the fee for assisted service. They will help you scan and upload the letter.

Alternatively you can also print the page of the question you forgot, add Dubai if there is space. Sign and date. They should be able to upload it for you.

No. You can only pay when you go back the day after.

That was the date assigned for them by TLS. Unfortunately we were not aware of walk in service.

Interesting. Meaning 28 days doesn't necessarily have to lapse on the day of submission and payment of visa fees.

When you say “submission” do you mean the day the visa and IHS fee was paid and submitted? Or the day the documents we’re uploaded on TLS site?

The day visa and ihs fees are paid.
One can pay for these and upload documents later if one isn't ready. Same with biometrics.

You have to upgrade to a normal savings account. The GT student account has limits.
Just go to the bank with your utility bill and an ID it’ll be upgraded for you

I plan to print another one on Monday to upload. I was worried about the transactions on my account. I submitted and paid for visa on July 3 and I very much still have the money in my account.

Although, the required funds did not drop at any point. But I read online that you can’t receive inflow above 100k and withdrawals shouldn’t be much too.

But with all these transactions, the required funds for tuition balance and maintenance fee was not affected.

Me that I had to pay for tuition deposit, source for black market dollars nko from my account.
All were debited.
There's no way my withdrawals didn't run into millions. Same with credit.

The important thing is that the minimum balance doesn't reduce to less than what is required.

It's not advisable to use a bank statement with closing balance as at June 9 for a submission/biometrics of July 12.
That is over 31 days.

Don't forget the school too told you you had a certain time in which to use the statement which is July 10.

However, if you have submitted the application? What was the date of submission and visa fees payment?
The submission date can fly if it is earlier than July 12 and before 31 days because the date of submission is what is used.

Why not just print another statement to avoid drama since the money is still intact.

Good evening house,our house number is 15 and that is what I used for admission but when I wanted to open bank,I saw 11 on our nepa bill.since then,we have been using 11.when my cas came out it came out with 15 and our TB test has 11 on it.i hope this will not cause problem for me during visa application .

It depends on the visa centre and the iom whether Lagos or Abuja. If it is Lagos IOM where you will first go and struggle at the gate, you don't know if you will enter early or if your certificate will be ready that day. Then I don't advise it.

Someone like me who had 10.30 appointment and was attended to at 5pm, imagine if I planned biometrics for that day.
Also what if God forbid, further tests are required or the results of your test is unclear. You will have to wait.

Get the Tb test result first. Upload it then try to get the visa appointment for the next day.
Do walk in if no date. That's what I did.

University of Northumbria admission portal is still open calling for applications but I'm unsure of the credibility hence this inquiry.

It's not like you are paying application fee. You can still try. However, so many other factors have to be considered.

Does the school offer admission on time? Do they give Cas on time? Do they have conditions for issuing Cas? Have you been refused visa before and what is the position of the school on prior visa refusals? Is your pof ready? Tb test?

If you consider all of these and if its doable, funds are ready or can start counting, you are prepared to pay priority and do walk in, the ball is in your Court.
