We shouldn't choose leaders to spite our perceived enemies, we should choose leaders to better our lot.

I had no problem when Yakowa was governor. No one tried to stop me from being a muslim, or conducting my legitimate business.

We should not fall into the bottomless trap of cutting our noses to spite our face.

If the christians of southern Kaduna chose to play the politics of sentiments, it doesn't mean we have to go that route. The PDP contestant is a muslim, but he was demonized and dehumanized as the candidate of CAN. And truth be told, just as pastors were commanding their followers to vote PDP as a religious duty, imams were admonishing muslims to vote APC as a sort of micro jihad.

The idea is to discard elections of religious sentiments -- a tall order, I know -- for the good of all.

It doesnt help if as a muslim I'm afraid of driving past Kachia and Kajuru, and a christian is afraid of going to Rigasa to board a train.

Who wins in that scenario?

It is true but southern Kaduna people hate of muslims is very annoying. I commend u for the ur comment.

stop the blaming game. we are above party politics now, we vote for indiviaduals. same Bauchi and Kano voted for APC in presidential election. it means they want Buhari but dont like their governors. most APC governors Bleep off to be sincere. even in Niger state they dont like governor Abu Lolo but because they (Nupe and Gbagy) dont want to bring another Hausa from Kontagora region opted for Abu Lolo to finish his 8 years than to bring Nasko who is also hausa to start fresh 8 years.

We as Kaduna Indigen we know it was CAN that caused all this. because they were opposing Elrufai openly, thats why even pdp supporters who are muslims opted to voted Elrufai. and it is now official Election can be won without the support of southern Kaduna. what people dont knw is APC deputy governor Malama Hadiza Balarabe is nt Hausa but one tribe from sanga local government of southern Kaduna.

I have told people El-rufai did the mock of this election during the Chairmanship and councilorship election in Kaduna state. He left the election to went free and fair so that he can calculate what is going to happen now. That time he left pdp to won many local governments and councilorship. El-rufai is one of the smartest politician in Nigeria.

I will advice the leadership of APC to reach out to Kwankwaso after the election with the aim of bringing him back to the party irrespective of the outcome of Kano’s election. He’s arguably the most popular politician in the north after Buhari.

From my understanding of his grievances, he’s not really against APC but Ganduje. After the election, a common ground can be found. A southerner/Kwankwaso ticket will be unbeatable in 2023.

But kwankwaso I knw will not accept vice president slot. in 2023 We Northerners are voting Kwankwaso. Because He loves Common man more than Buhari
