Travel / Re: Allen Onyema: Harry & Meghan Welcomed To Nigeria By Wanted Man - Daily Mail by Anatolia: 12:10pm On May 18
emkz:
The British media is insanely racist. They have been falling over themselves to move from insulting Harry and Meghan to comparing Nigeria human right records to Nazi Germany. Another one who said women's rights do not exist in Nigeria is Kevin O'Sullivan.

The charges against Allen Onyeama were quashed, but the British commentator would still insist because it drives their narrative.

There have been others who think Nigerians are uneducated. The British are criminals who stole from around the world to build their empire. They still believe we are in that era of criminality.

To tell you how ignorant they are, they say the visit was a royal visit. How can it be a royal visit when they are not working royals? One of them, Michael Cole, who claimed to have covered the British royal family, said no royal would visit Nigeria. The man does not know their former queen, duke of Edinburgh, princess of Wales and even their current king as prince of Wales visited Nigeria several times.

Dear nairalanders, even if Nigeria is the worst country in the world, only us can insult our own country and ourselves.

The moment some racists do it, we must not accept it. We must unite and run them out of town.

I do not agree with you. We have to examine their accusations and if they are true, we should work on them. If they are not true, then we should discard them.

I am Nigerian but SA is far better than Nigeria when it comes to politics. While South Africans may be involved in extreme violence, they have not shown to be as stupid as Nigerians when it comes to the massive corruption during elections. We elect the most stupid leaders in the world including the so called intellectual tribe.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Malawians Who Abandoned Israeli Farms Deported by Anatolia: 8:33am On May 09
ruffhandu:

Come on. Did you not read the article? Israel signed an agreement with the Malawian government to hire Malawians to go work in labour farms in Israel and be paid less than minimum wage. And now some Malawians left the jobs for factory jobs because they didn't even keep to the minimum wage agreement, and they were deported. The Israelie govt fumes about how they left the job, even though they were paid less than promised. But the Malawian govt's response is "don't worry, we have many more you can take as slaves. We gave you 1500 before, now we will give you 10,000 slaves" to reduce unemployment. Tufiakwa!. Those 10,00 will face inhumane treatments there and not one of them will be able to cough.

They were being paid $4.8 to work in farms for God's sake.
Those slaves will be made to work for about 24days in a month, and 10 hrs each day, hard labour, and at the end be paid $116. $116 in a month! can they rent a house? No. They will be living in refugee camps and living like slaves. So Malawian government cannot help these people set up farms, even if they earn $200, or even $00 as poor people, at least they are in their own farms in their own country, don't you see how dignifying that would be? And you say this is not slavery. Which developed country can you feed well with $100? I am pained.

Cheei!!

Your calculation is wrong.

One thing you cannot take away from this government is that while they are clueless about governance, they are talented in singing their own praise and in mocking others who are questioning them about their woeful performance. The government is irredeemable!

Romance / Re: My Payback To The Girl Who Broke My Heart. by Anatolia: 12:55pm On May 06
Rizzputin:
You are both wrong and right at the same time. Let me tell you why.

You are right for allowing things to end. But you are soo wrong for a host of other reasons.

First, this kind of girl is what I call Drama Divas. These kind of girls will be the sweetest and worst kind in a relationship

I was going to write a thread on them and the best ways to handle them. But I couldn't due to time. Maybe if I did, and you read it... would have saved you from making costly mistakes

Let me guess...

At the start, this girl was so sweet to you. She was loving, respectful, submissive. She confessed her feelings to you. Told you how much she loved you. Showed you care and affection.

She said you were the best thing that ever happened to her. She complimented you a lot on your good qualities. She'd call to check up on you and wanted to spend time with you.

Then all of a sudden she changed...

Her love bombing dropped out of nowhere. She promised to change but never really did.

And because this was your first time with this kind of girls.. you were caught off guard. Then, you made the biggest mistake of all: You begged

You see, these Drama Divas are in a special category of 3 kinds of girls. The other two are: Daddy issue girls and girls with a history of toxic bfs or relationships

The worst thing you can do with these girls is to make them feel they "have" you or beg them to stay with you

Why?

Because all their lives they're the ones begging. Begging for their dad to come back. Begging not to be abandoned.

So when as a man you do the Begging She starts doubting her love for you. Because that's not what she's really used to.

The thing is this girl isn't a wicked person or a nonsense girl. She's damaged. Life doesn't come with a manual on how to handle relationships

She's only reacting based on how life and people she cared about treating her.

She isn't consciously trying affect your mental health. It's her subconscious taking over based on what she's experienced

If you dig through her past... you'll notice a history of abandonment. This has made her the way she is.

You should have just let her go. And advise her to seek therapy (do NOT save her yourself)

You're not the only guy neither is that guy. There are others. So it's pointless chatting up other guys

Keep an eye out for my thread on this. Because these group of girls are very common among these gen z girls

I've personally encountered more than 10 of them.

They will make you feel so special. Hype up your ego... then along the line they start throwing drama, tests and challenges to drain you.

You'll be great if she never feels you're completely hers. And if you can control your emotions and not overreact

The general goal tho, is to never date them. Rather, keep them as friends with benefits or fùck buddies till they move on to marriage

Your analysis is on point. I almost married a girl like that but I had to cancel the marriage plan after the introduction. She was beautiful, showed me a lot of love and then suddenly started to terrorize me.

I love Nigerians from all tribes. However, I don’t know why people from the south west boast too much when they have little or nothing. The Lagos they always claim was built with oil money from the Niger-Delta. If they are really successful as they claim on this forum why is that they cannot point to any other state in their region that is working.

Omo na express road u dey enter oooo, south south has how many ports ? One in Delta, two in Port Harcourt, one in Calabar and all south south stated have boundary with the Atlantic do you know what that means?

I'm addition, south south has abundance of oil assets. Imagine the crude oil money shared by everyone to only belong to the south south region? Just imagine. I can tell you for sure south south has nothing against it for it to stand toe to toe with any striving nation of the world, it is located strategically along a major sea route which will position it for global trade.

What does the south west have that the south south doesn't have? Don't forget the southwest you are bragging about is just Lagos state which has had plethora of wealth lifted from the Niger Delta region into its building by virtue of it been the capital of the Federation. What else are you bragging about? Lagos was built by the resources from my region and other regions and including the south west region resources but my region is solely built by our the little peanut given to us from the large chunk we produce.

Make bold to mention your state and let's do comparison with mine. Be claiming Lagos when you are from ado ekiti, ungrateful lot that want to fight the fingers that fed them.

There is no need dignifying ignoramous with a reply. They will pretend they have viable economy when we know that without the subventions from the oil of the Niger Delta all the states in the South West would not survive.

If not for absolute stupidity on the part of Tinubu and African leaders. Why on earth should we be going begging for investment. If the business climate is right, investors will come because they see opportunities to make more money. Why will investors be attracted to a country whose currency is constantly being devalued. Inflation and devaluation will wipe out any profit they make.

You guys always find a negative way to bring tribalism into a discussion that doesn’t concern it. One day I might be tempted to sue the owners of this good platform for allowing tribalism to continue on this platform unabated. It is eithe tribalism is allowed full blown or stopped totally.

Going by your logic, if "2 min men" is a description of an action according to you, then "Evening Newspaper" is a description of a biological fact

Continue bro! evening newspaper is not a human word so in essence you are dehumanizing the person. 2 min men , at least they still refer to such men as men. 2 mins does not really matter as long as you can impregnate your wife. For your knowledge, I am man with two kids and am not a woman wrapper.
