Education › Re: JAMB’s Once-A-Year Exam Is No Longer Fashionable, It’s Time For Change by Anatolia: 5:46pm On May 08, 2025 |
Op made a good submission. Jamb should be organized at least every 4 months because 1 year makes students to think the time is long but then exam comes. If it is 4 months, students can build on the momentum from the previous exam to pass the second one. Also JAMB scores should be valid for three years. Out system is plain stupid! |

stasius: No! Don't blame Trump. Blame our African leaders who have continued to keep us in the messy situation we have been in. If not for our various black leaders we would have far outshined the whites in all areas of life. We have the human and mineral resources. The black race and by extension Africa is richly endowed but as long as we keep having bad people up there we will continue to be treated as trash. No white will save or liberate the blacks. The blacks should liberate themselves. They have all it takes to compete with and outshine the rest of the world! Blacks should have an introspection and stop crying foul every minute. The world is not waiting for you. You can sulk and cry bully forever but you will keep getting that same treatment as long as you don't chart a course for yourself.
God bless president Traore if he is really going to maintain a right course and not deviate like previous African Embezzlers and kleptomaniacs!!! You guys never take responsibility for circumstances we found ourselves. We always look for who to blame. |

The Alafin is superior to the ooni of ife in terms of historic relevance. The ooni is the direct descendant of oduduwa so he has spiritual superiority somehow. If not for British rule, the most prominent Yoruba obas are the Alafin of Oyo and the Olubadan of Ibadan. |

We don’t have a leadership problem but a cultural problem. The people choose their leaders whether they are deceived or not. Passing the bulk to the leadership is just scratching the surface. We can keep on blaming the leaders while things will get worse because we keep on electing bad leadership. |

amaridigital: What you wish him will surely come upon you p, your father, mother, siblings because Tinubu also have a family and children. I'm not a politician infact the first and election I've ever participated in Nigeria was June 12 and I voted for Tofa. I don't belong to any party but despite the fact that most people here even myself used to "yab" each other, it's pure evil for you to wish someone else sudden death. The man you wish sudden death is matured in age anyway but you don't need it. As much as you are complaining of bad economy are you telling me people are not buying or building houses and buying expensive cars? When cement was #10 was it every Nigerian that own an house? When okada was sold for #60k, how many bikes did you see on the road compared with now when it's expensive yet flooded the whole street of Nigeria. Better go and work hard or work smarter. Blaming Tinubu for your miserable life will only make you more miserable. Look at the citizens of other nations even where there are tyrants and war torn countries, you will hardly find them using "gutter" language against their leaders. Are you the first ethnic group to loose election and how do you expect support with such wickedness? Shame! Do you know how many people have died due to Tinubu’s policies. I think Tinubu deserves curses not prayers. |

komekn: Once a legislators defects and changes allegiance to another party that or those legislators loose their seats.
The speaker then declares those seats vacants, and the matter is settled essentially.
However, we know from experience in Nigeria we can use the courts to turn the law upside down 👎🏿.
The court has become the first resort to undermine the Rule of Law and democracy.
This is Nigeria, where we can turn black 🖤 to white 🤍 what do you expect ⁉️ The court is the final arbiter of the law regardless of their decision. Disobeying court orders is a recipe for anarchy. You cannot choose which court order to obey. |
Politics › Re: State Of Emergency In Rivers: Ex-NBA President Daudu Backs Tinubu by Anatolia: 10:11am On Mar 25, 2025 |
I believe that Tinubu is a total failure because of the untold hardship he has inflicted on Nigerians. However, the state of emergency is fully in order . The era of executive lawlessness should be curtailed. The governor had no right to demolish the state house of assembly or refuse to present the budget because the legislators recapped. After all, the courts had not declared their seat vacant. Also, the legislators refusing to meet with the governor was totally stupid and unconstitutional. |

Its seems a lot of us here on this platform are on Akpabio’s payroll because I can’t understand how you guys will be defending the indefensible. The right thing that should have been done was for Akpabio to have step aside while investigation was going on. In this case, Akpabio became the judge in own case. Six months suspension for refusing to change her seat is abominable. They are taking advantage of the fact that more than 90% of our senators are men and we are a patriarchal society that suppresses women voice. I think Natasha erred in not changing her seat but the greater blame is on Akpabio who we know like most politicians is a philanderer. |
