Politics / Re: Elder Statesman, Aminu Dantata Backs Transition To Parliamentary System by Anatolia: 1:50pm On Feb 15
222Martins:
When the suffering of Nigerians started under the leadership of Buhari, why was this parliamentary rubbish not raised then? Now the South is in power, still trying to wriggle out of the economic mess started by Buhari, they came up with this. I laugh grin grin grin grin grin

The south in power doesn’t mean anything except to you. Tinubu is representing himself there not the south. The south is in power and people are suffering. Any suggestion that will take this country forward, I support it. Because once we go parliamentary, we cannot reverse it even when the north comes back to power.

Tinubu is the new pharaoh and tax collector. He will not rest until he sucks Nigeria dry.
Food / Re: Hardship: FG Moves To Regulate Food Prices by Anatolia: 6:21pm On Feb 14
Foolish government! How can you control the price of food when the currency is constantly losing value and people cannot farm without fear of Fulani herders and kidnappers attacking them?

Our political rulers know that if they can bribe people during elections, they will win regardless of their performance so they can engage in blame game without consequences. In a more serious country, these kind of politicians who engage in blaming previous leaders cannot lead the country.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Facing Worsening Economic Crisis, Says IMF by Anatolia: 1:38pm On Feb 12
Nvestor02:
IMF don't know what they are saying, they want Tinubu to keep borrowing money from world bank for them to keep their relevancy.

Little did they know that Tinubu is a genius And can generate the unbelievable amount of money internally that would met up to our infrastructure demands.

IMF should watch on how our GDP will grow in the next year.... Some organizations has already ranked it as one of the fastest growing in Africa for this months.

It's now for the citizens to meet up to the new reality, govt has stopped paying for some certain things for them.

And also, I commended Tinubu for fighting insecurity, because there has been many reportage of how Soldiers, Amotekun and police are arresting the bandits these days.

Tinubu should further declare more war against Insecurity.

I surely know that new minimum wage would be implemented before March because the negotiation for it is already going on.

You are living in a fools paradise .

Ivory Coast schooled us. The midfield was totally absent and the defense was struggling to clear the balls. It’s a pity. At least , we reach final.

Blame those people from SW, they have vowed that Nigeria will never move forward for as long as their tribesman is there, they're very Ok with it

It’s a general thing but more prominent in some areas.

G00dharddick:
Imagine David alaba, saka and other Nigerian stars decides to play for super eagles, damn! We'll be unstoppable!

Nigeria is fast becoming the gaint of Africa. If not for our bad and evil leaders, Nigeria would have been number one in Africa by now in terms of infrastructure and development

Stop blaming bad leaders. These people did not get there by accident. Nigerians can be easily bought over hence these leaders keep getting elected.

Tinubu is not president because he was voted in, No! He was rigged in by the establishment through INEC and ratified by the judiciary.
It wasn't because of what Nigerians did, heck, even the Supreme Court violated the constitution because of him

Do you want to tell me people didn’t vote massively for him in the South West and Core north?
Politics / Re: Citizens Groan As Rice Hits N77,000 Per Bag by Anatolia: 2:11pm On Feb 11
With all this suffering, watch if election come again, they will still vote Tinubu. Irredeemable foolish people. Nigerians deserve what they are getting. We cannot continue to make bad decisions and expect good results.

This is what you get for voting charlatans into power. Instead of doing their job, they will be complaining that the work is to hard but will not want to leave the position because of the fame and money associated with the position. The responsibility part of the position they avoid.

Greetings my peeps. This is how you know dogs and swine as bible take describe them for bible. If any of you remember the abiola and kingibe jingle when them dey contest(i small that time o mind you) na small I remember; it goes like this I tire for this life or na so so wahala, no house, no road, hospital no water
I tire for this world o I tire for life o!
Then the sdp hopeful now comes in with the answer;
My brother wetin you dey think,
My sister helep e don come,
Sdp, m.k.o, kingibe, power.
Sdp, m.k.o, kingibe progress.
Abiola na the man, sdp na the party to solve our problems and better our lives.

Shey una no see say na the same slogan or promises na im all the government don dey use till this very moment and yet things don worse! Hope you guys get my drift. Until we see these guys for who they truly are and get our lives back through referendum and true federalism and justice and total overhaul of the constitution na roundabout we just dey do.
Imagine people generalising something that has plagued us for decades with those of other climes as some sort of yardstick. Ciao.

Mind you Tinubu did not promise any good thing during election campaign. He only promised to remove subsidies and devalue the naira. Now, you don’t need to campaign with promises.
Politics / Re: Things Are Tough Everywhere - Felix Morka Defends Tinubu Over Cost Of Living by Anatolia: 2:09pm On Feb 09
YesDaddyTill203:
Ok
Apart from the drastic currency devaluations in Nigeria, the price increases in cost of living is universal.

I'm currently visiting Ethiopia, my taxi driver was complaining to me how prices have gone up in Addis Ababa and Ethiopia in general.
I asked for specific examples. He told me that he bought his apartment for 3 Million Birr 4 years ago. The same apartheid are now being sold for 20 Million Birr.
He told me that prices of bread, fuel and everything else has gone up 4 to 6 times from What they where just recently..

Cost of living has gone everywhere in the world from the first economies of the US to third world economy of Ethiopia.
I'm yet to visit any country where people are not complaining about sudden increases in the cost of living.
There's no magic solution, anyone that promises such isnjusy lying.

You no see country, na Ethiopia who are always one step away from famine.

Business / Re: AFCON: Osondu Nwoye Dies Of Heart Attack In Ivory Coast by Anatolia: 3:01am On Feb 09
ManOfSon:
This is sad. And it's not the only one. I used to be like this - shaking with cold even in warm weather - once it's Nigeria in the AFCON or Arsenal against any other team. I will not forget AFCON 1984 which Cote d'Ivoire also hosted. Nigeria scored first in the final against Cameroon, then wilted under an onslaught spearheaded by Theofile Abega and Roger Milla. I couldn't eat that night. However, the older I became, the wiser I became too. I know exactly when to distract my heart under pressure to save it from itself. I also have a Samsung S10 which I no longer use for phone. I've kept it because I can use it to monitor my cardiovascular health. It checks the stress level, including your heartbeat per minute (BPM) range. It's been very helpful. Heart health is the most important type of health. Don't ever joke with it.

You na ancestor.
