The Judiciary can inflict maximum sentence on an average Nigerian but will release politicians that steal money with plea bargain in only a few years.

Well, news flash, Institutions & government ONLY WORK BECAUSE they people allow them to WORK...What's the population of the entire security forces of Kenya & the politicians sef?...They would all eventually back off if the people refused to stand down!!

True talk, power belongs to the people but in the case of Nigeria, the people have allowed the power to be taken from them. The people are the husband while the wife is the government.

The best thing that can happen is when we dissolve the entity called Nigeria. Nigeria is a failed experiment that was poorly done. There is no unity in any way because of huge differences in political and religious perspectives.

The heart of Tinubu is hardened and his defenders will flatter him even though he is a failure.

We have abused religion in Nigeria. Instead of encouraging people to take actions on a regular basis, our pastors encourage them to pray. Actions create prosperity not prayers while prayers helps to build a strong relationship with your father. I think religion is used as a decoy to be lazy or deceptive hence no results.

Most of us are too entitled to handle the wealth of the nation. The superiority complex or entitlement , lack of empathy, selfishness , of people seeking power in Nigeria is the reason for our failure as a country.

Whether things are going well for you or not is not a proof of God’s existence. If you no hustle, nothing go work for you. However, our existence points to the existence of God.

I think the Nigerian guy was foolish to have stayed in the same neighborhood after being threatened twice. White Americans when they attack blacks, it is mostly to kill. They don’t want any injuries on their body so they fight to kill. The white guy knew he wouldn’t stand a physical fight with the Nigerian born boxer so he decided to kill him.

The problem of Nigeria is multilevel and multilayered corruption which causes money for developmental projects to be diverted with little remaining for the actual project. The status quo will remain unchanged as long as the people who are supposed to oversee the proper implementation of projects are benefiting.

Nigeria is an overrated country. We have some individually brilliant people but we cannot work together to achieve a common goal. Too much energy is expended fighting each other instead of deploying it to bring about innovation.

I will never criticize my dad even though he is a criminal as long as he taking care of me and his my father. I don’t care what he is doing to most people. This is the attitude of those defending Tinubu. I am sure one day God will release his judgement on Tinubu and his supporters for hardening their heart against the people of Nigeria.

The greatest threat is the mindless stealing of African resources by their corrupt leaders in various spheres of life.

Africans through their docility have allowed evil rulers to lead them. The children of Africa are wailing because of the great tribulation that has befallen them. Nobody can come to their rescue. We still have people who are drumming support for those whose economic policies have pushed poor Africans into such dangerous conditions.

Truer words have never been spoken. This scenario has played out several times in my own nuclear family. My wife can come up with several ideas but they all have to pass through me. I would only approve of an idea after thorough vetting. Only ideas that pass the logic and reasonableness tests are the ones I approve. The others are dismissed. Some ideas are even outrightly dismissed as they appear highly irrational. As you rightly side, a man who doesn't lead his home is bound to encounter shame and problem like the one the pastor is going through. As a man you've got to be firm and uncompromising, else your wife would mess you up with their mostly irrational and emotional requests. Most men don't understand what being the head of the family means. If simply means leadership. If you fail to lead, nature abhors vacuum, your wife will take the lead then and we all know how that is going to end. Being the family head doesn't mean having to rub it on your wife's face, it's mostly done through actions. A lion doesn't need to announce its arrival.

Here's an example that just came to mind:
I remember visiting a restaurant with my family. My wife was in charge of placing orders. When the order arrived, I noticed she ordered nothing for the house help or she ordered something light like snacks for her. Can't remember exactly what happened. But I scolded her in a subtle manner and immediately demanded that she places a better order for the house help similar to our own order. If we're taking a cocktail or mocktail, the house help has to take one as well. At least ask her what she would like to take. Since then, there's no family outing we embark on that my wife would not ask our house help what she would like to take and adds her request to our order. She has since taken that lesson and assimilated it.

Give him one more year to destroy the country. Judges and legislooters are enjoying the country but the poor are asked to wait. They will wait because they are docile . In three years time, election would come and they will collect bribe to vote the government and wait another four years.
