The time has come to know that performance and objectivity are no longer a requirement for governance. If you can bribe and manipulate your way to become a leader, you can keep shifting the blame of your poor performance on the previous government.

I remember during my NYSC about 16 years ago, my Southwestern guys could go on starvation to save money. If you go to Ogun state they had terrible governors and they still keep on voting the same leaders. In Lagos, drivers will drop you half way and collect the full money and nobody will complain. They have brought this attitude of enduring unbearable hardship to the national level .

The ultimate blame goes to Tinubu. Cardozo just want to earn the title CBN governor that is why he is still there. I believe the incompetent Tinubu did not consult Cardozo before he implemented the twin evil policies.

The only prayer that I have is that God should uproot them from that seat because they are wicked.

It is unfortunate that no matter the hardship, Nigerians do not learn any lessons from the hardship experience. They will make the same decision again.

The floating of the naira was a disaster in the waiting for anyone with common sense. The decision to float the naira set up a competition between BDCs and the official exchange to see who will devalue the naira faster. There is no way the official exchange can catch up with the bdc rates because the bdcs wants to make profit. Any catch up by the official exchange rate is only temporary as the bdcs make their gain through the difference between the official and parallel rate.

Election is about three years from now. Let’s wait to see if they have learnt their lessons. It seems the politicians in APC have bewitched Nigerians that no matter how much suffering they heap on Nigerians they will still vote for them.
