NkemOkpara: Okay oooo. I 've been here for 6 years. And am suppose to know how to speak broken English cos I was born and raised as a Nigerian and I went to school in Nigeria. So my dear, I no dey form oyibo. I still be Naija. Unfortunately, I did not grow up at Ajejunle. And sorry for the misunderstanding smiley
When you said you live in Calgary, I couldn't help but feel you were lying, most especially after referring to where you currently are as ''there'' instead of ''here'', among other errors, which I know anyone that had lived and schooled in Canada won't make.. But upon reading this specific post from you that I am quoting, especially the bolded part. it kind of explained a lot. So sorry for being a bit sarcastic with my earlier reply.

You are welcome to NL. I hope you enjoy your time here.

NkemOkpara: My dear,

My name is not Monica. My name is Nkem Okpara from Calgary Alberta. So please don't accuse me of something I know nothing about. I just spoke my mind.

Thanks,
You are from Canada?

abikyshow: did you remember that he nominated oneal on the monday of the week he issued delish power of no task and gave biggie reason that oneal is too bossy. you claimed someone is too bossy and u gave the same nigga chance to be HOH and deprived your closest friend a chance. Elikem wouldn't have done such a thing. listen to the reason elikem gave to bim exclusion from HOH task today. Boldly said not like some cowards
Jeez. it's funny how people can just completely make up something and try to pass it around as the truth, to back up their point.

Melvin never nominated Oneal because he felt he was bossy. He said himself and Oneal do not converse much, that Oneal was the least person he's close to in the house. SMH

abikyshow: Elikem knows to code those girls. He already promised delish a role in a movie outside BBA. Am sure delish would nominate Melvin before elikem.
I heard he also promised to buy her a golf 7 cool if he wins. That could explain the recent closeness. sharp girl grin

THE AMAKA: NIGERIA!!!!! Where did it all go wrong cry
Horrible Government of course.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by AndrERush(m): 8:38am On Aug 09, 2013
THE AMAKA: Bad governance has really had a negative domino effect in every aspect of society. I don't see much difference between what they do and what boko haram claims to stand for.
I don't know if its the "crab in a bucket" mentality or what. SMH.
Most Nigerians has lost sensitivity for things like that, they don't give a fork if you're dead or alive, they go in hard on you without holding back. Like you noted, bad governance has a role to play in all this, it's had a negative effect on the society, twisted the mentality of the people. It'll take generations to change it.

THE AMAKA: People actually still bash her now? I'm sure its just a few, but i truly weep for humanity. SMH.
Most definitely, they still do. I have witness people bashing her, not only on socialmedia but also in real life. Nigerians can be very mean, dem no get joy at all.

sexytabhi: My dear, this is the spirit, selly did almost the same thing bev did but she nevr lost the support from her people and they dint go about calling her names on social networks but nigeria cannot support her own. Some people even claimed that if beverly is up against dellish, they would vote dillish and nigeria vote will go to dillish like wtf. The most annoying part was when some people started wishing melvin and dillish get intimate and ow lovely it would be on live tv then I asked if you can wish that on dillish then why condemn beverly?. Hypocrites too full naija sincerely. To me beverly is still the best chaser and I won't be surpised if she wins that money.
Not everyboby will like and support you just because you are from the same country. even Melvin, I have seen some Nigerians say they will never vote for him, that they will rather vote someone alse. But mark my word, if Bev comes up against Dillish, Bev will get Nigeria's vote ahead of Dillish. I can bet my car on that.

THE AMAKA: Sorry, i thought you were part of the extremist group.

To answer your question...
Well in no particular order:
Bassey
Maria
Denzel (although his stay was short, he definitely had winner qualities)
Selly (even though she messed up she did play a really good game)

Anyway, that is just my personal list ooo!
Sweetie, this is a forum for everybody. Yes I like Melvin but I don't belong to no extremist group. Hell, I doubt there's a group like that here. all I see are passionate Melvin fans that are ready to stand up for him.

Regarding your list.... I would say Bassey was the only person I connected with and would've had no problem with him winning. I liked Maria.. But Selly and Denzel, I did not like very much. especially Denzel, like @safarigirl said, he was more irritating to me than entertaining. his mouth opening totally threw me off..
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by AndrERush(m): 5:04pm On Aug 08, 2013
THE AMAKA: First of all, just because most people here think Melvin is "the least of all evils" (for lack of a better term) doesn't mean i won't call it like i see it.

And to answer your question, they've all been evicted.
Nobody said you shouldn't speak your mind, it's a free world. Everybody have a right to their opinoin. It was just an innocent question.

Who might that evicted housemate be. Just curious
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by AndrERush(m): 4:56pm On Aug 08, 2013
THE AMAKA: Well all i know is that , IN MY OPINION, housemates need a bit of everything to be winning material. Sometimes certain qualities are needed more than others. Why else do you think people were so against Wendall winning during BBA6, because he did play a clean game but was nothing short of a Delawood furniture. He also refused to open up or entertain any ladies in the house.
As for me, the real reason why i focused on Melvin more than other housemates is because he's Nigerian. Obviously due to patriotism.
If una like, you can quote me from now until tomorrow on how the two situations are completely different, but to me, there are more similarities than there are differences.
SHALOM.
Whom amongst the housemates ''IN YOUR OPINION'' has a bit of everything this season and absolutely deserves to win?

spade: A sentence for each person, but when it got to Melvin, I wrote an encyclopedia.
Why? Because I'm Nigerian.
I GENUINELY like Melvin for his intentions, but if you're to be honest, he's been a total non-event since this show began.
I stanned for him during his Gulder Ultimate Search days, and was deeply sad when he didn't win. I hope his "2nd Place" jinx ends this year with a BBA victory, but at the same time, I can't help but point out how a lot of Nigerians phucked up everything by voting the wrong Namibian who's only turned out to be a complete waste of space. Melvin would've improved greatly with Maria, but alas, we're now left with CRAP stories like "Elikem snatches Dillish from Melvin?" - "Are You Team Mellish or Team JJ?" and other sttuppid shhiit like that.

Biko, if he makes it to the finals, I'll strategize and vote for him onto "he's a good guy" levels, but that doesn't mean he's done anything for me.
If indeed you genuinely like him and hope he wins like you claim. Then how exactly does writing an essay highlighting a ton of reasons why he doesn't deserve to win, aid his cause?. If anything, it would seem your intentions was to derail his chances of winning. I'm not saying that was your intention. but it sure does appear that way from your essay.

He might have been a non-event for you. but in my eyes he has done enough to deserve the money just like the other housemates. I guess each individual to their own taste, so I can't fault you for not liking what he's done so far. But like I wrote, from your essay, it would seem like you were trying your hardest to convince people of why he shouldn't win.

spade: Damn! Sweet Jesus Lord, THE HOUSE IS BORING! angry

O gini?!

Let us just tell ourselves the truth that none of those iddiiots in that house is deserving of that cash price except, to an extent, Cleo and Elikem... Then maybe Beverly (shocker!) for the controversy she's stirred, no matter how sttupid she may be.

Bimp, with his one Africa, one singlet, one sweater, one pant, one Bimp, has done NOTHING for me.

Tarzan and the trees he's carrying on his head nko? The less said about that dude the better.

Melvin, isi aki. Just to open mouth, collect food, laugh, and shine teeth, na im be entertaining? Dude added NOTHING this season, let's tell ourselves the truth.
You may say he's kind, genuine, etc. And I agree with you, but is that what this show is all about?
The nigga said he didn't want to have a relationship in the house, that there's more to him than that; but over 72 days later, I'm still scratching my head and waiting to see what it is he has going for him in the house.
Dude is neither articulate, adventurous nor sharp. He's a notorious fence-sitter who does his best to run away from in-house controversy.
Ngwanu, if to say im dey run from that kind controversy cuz he has a better brand of entertainment to offer, e for better. But so far, the ONLY remotely interesting acivity I've seen him do is table tennis! shocked
He REFUSES to clarify things with the viewers and bores me senseless when he goes on yet another long-winding trip of MUMU-ism when asked to state who he truly has interest in. If only this guy knew how close his reputation was to getting completely shattered when viewers thought he had the hots for Selly.
"I liked blah blah blah, then I liked blah blah blah, although I like every girl" - Timid man! By 'like', do you mean you have a romantic attraction towards the person, or do you mean you want to be friends? For a 28 year old man, you sure are one timid olodo.
Don't even get me started on this guy's diary sessions, where he contorts his face like person wey dey shhitt peppery shhitt!

And then there's DILLISH! Oh Jesus lord, another phucking bore the Nigerians wasted their votes on cuz they were foolishly waiting for a "Mellish" even when she had a solid relationship back home. Talk about unrealistic AND iddiotic expectations.
If that vote had atleast gone to Maria (Dillish got 4 votes anyway), then maybe Melvin wouldn't be the monumental bore he is today. The mumus only started waking up on Saturday evening when Dillish gave Melvin that "Power of No" grin -- and till today, all they can make do with, are "Heyyy, Melvin and Dillish are playing in the kitchen. Dillish says I will siiilllaaaap you! Awwww! Mellish moments!"
pathetic, pathetic, pathetic!

Now I'm starting so see reason with that report that says the average national IQ is 67 shocked

Lord have mercy!

*End of Rant*
A sentence each for the other people that according to you does not deserve the money. But when it got to Melvin you wrote a whole book on him. hmmmm, I can see you are on a mission here. What exactly the mission is all about?, well I think I have an idea grin

Lobeez: Now let me explain how weed in moderation makes you smart: I know that cannabis is a depressant and it relaxes the muscles and slows down time reaction and sometimes alters judgment; but sometimes it takes you on a mind trip that makes you use your memory in an unbelivable way.

Haven't you experienced trips that took you way back into time and you begin to remember things you forgot a long time ago? dude I've been on a trip back to when I was little as 5 yrs old and could remember every single thing.

Havent you had some high moments when you could do complex maths calculations like adding and multiplying complex numbers?

Have you tried listening to music on cannabis high? dude you can analyse every single key, note and instrument

Botton line is sometimes weed makes your brain do superhuman feats and then when you're sober, other people just look like lesser humans to you cos you know they've never had such out-of-body-experience
You bassically just said it takes you to another world. If that's what you mean by being smarter, then I agree.

fork adict: Yep. Barka da sallah to our muslim readers and analysts. May we celebrate many more sallahs in good health Insha Allah.

Please around what time should I look out for the diary sessions? Nigerian time please. Don't wanna miss it for anything particularly that of Pastor Melvin
No particular time. You might need to stick around your tv from about 12 or so through 3pm.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by AndrERush(m): 7:55am On Aug 08, 2013
Lobeez: Hmmm! weed talk, strength of weed varies from place to place depending on so many factors; you just have to have the right source.

But you gotta be careful cos some guys will add stuffs to their weed just to increase the concentration of cannabinoids in it; in the end the natural kush effect is replaced.

wasnt surprised t hear that Bev takes the kush... no wonder that girl is smart grin some deep thinking thingz
You are right about some people adding stuff to their weed. I personally knows someone that does that, it can be harmful at times.

Regarding the strength of weed. One thing I can say for sure is that Nigerian weed is generally stronger than American weed. I've had both, and the difference is as clear as day.

I'll disagree with you that weed makes a person smarter, it definitely does not. It makes you relax, numbs you a bit, it just takes you to your own world basically.

For the record. I no longer smoke cool
