Hmmm! It's mixed feelings over here. Relieved but not too excited. What could be the cause? Could it be that we were made to wait for so long? Whatever! I just want to use this opportunity to let u, my dear pals to know that I am finally in and to appreciate God for his mercies which endure forever. Thank you God! When the journey got tough and daunting, your grace kept me going. Yea! It was neither by my power nor strength, but your grace. Thank u! My days of studying for JAMB and PUTME are over. You have given me the opportunity to start working diligently for my future and have changed my Jambite status to undergraduate. By your grace, I will live to see it change from undergraduate to graduate, from graduate to employee and from employee to employer. Hallelujah!!! For our good friends here, who are yet to be admitted, keep your hopes alive for your miracle is on the way. Jamb score: 209 Postutme score: 268 Department: Electrical electronics enginnering Admission status: Admitted!!! 1 Like |

Kingsleypower@: Like you rightly mentioned earlier, some schools do that but not all. I can safely say that any school that sells supplementary forms rarely does that, Uniuyo inclusive. As for the rookie and pro part, my bro forget that. We are all learners. A very wonderful morning to y'all. |

Kingsleypower@: Lol! That's why it's supplementary. You don't expect to see highly competitive courses during supplementary, do you? Well, left for me, I would say some courses there are really attractive though chances of getting them depend on one's JAMB combo. Courses like architeture, agric engineering, food engineering etc aren't that bad. Honestly, I don't hope to supplement anything o. Merit is so so on point by the grace of God. |

idonchop: How good is 236 DE score for Elect/Elect Engr? Bro, it depends on the general performance of your competitors. One thing I would assure you is that engineering aspirants don't always score astronomically like their counterparts in Law and Mbbs. So, I think you have a shot at admission with 236. #myopinion# |

gameboi: I am still asking again, If I supplement for Biochemistry, can I still switch to Medicine after I gain admission? Theorithically? Yes! Practically? You are in for a long thing bro. From what I gathered, it involves a lot of logistics and connections and that make it practically impossible. |

Amen to all the prayers said here in my absent. Would I say another bad day at the office? Hmmm! UI just released the departmental cut off marks for 2013/2014 admissions and elect elect engineering, which is my department is 59. Well, my score was 64. Am I not supposed to be rejoicing? Well, not in this case because the cut off marks are just for the first choice aspirants. I just wish I made them my first choice. Well, God knows the best for me. There is still hope for the 2nd choice aspirants. Yea, there is hope! Goodnight pals! |

SEYI_KP: Why are we not having alots of testimonies, abi people were lying about their putme scores b4 ni, i thought we should have more than we had gotten. It's because most of us here are 2nd choice aspirants. For instance, the cut off for elect elect engineering is 59 and I scored 64, but a 2nd choice aspirant. Do u expect people in my shoes to testify? Honestly, I feel sad right now, but all is well. |

@Kingsley, My bro, I perfectly understand where you are coming from. You may wonder, why perfectly? Do u really know how I feel? Yea, I do! How? Because I have same story to tell, just that mine appears worst. Each time I have a flashback of the happenings in my life since I left high school in 2010, uncontrollable tears roll down my cheek from my eyes. I do shed tears not because I feel that I am a loser or a failure, but because I feel that difficulties only make me stronger. Yea, stronger! Well, I don't feel like telling my story in details right now, perhaps I will do that someday. If not for any other thing, I have learnt to take frustration in my stride. Even if I do not get admission this year(though the probability of that happening is zero), I will not give up writing another Jamb next year. I honestly thank God for everything, because I will go into the university more prepared for life after school. |
