Fellycutie: hit d nail on d headMy sis for life,(@Dan, don't break my head o,na sis I said, no be wifey) no offense intended. I was just wondering why you have not said "hi" to us, your fellow freshers on the aspirants' thread. Anyways, congratulations on your admission. |
Emmy9ite: So what are you trying to say? bros park well.My bro for life, na fight we dey fight? How u come carry another person matter for head ni? I expected u, Dan and other big bros in the house to respond my greetings, abi una no see the second paragraph of my post wey concern una? Na this kind welcome una dey give a newbie like me so? Anyways, I'm still loyal to my bosses in the house, you guys set the pace, we(the freshers) follow. Peace! |
That awkward moment when Fellycutie has more than 20 comments to her name on Uniuyo students' thread, but just a mere spectator on Uniuyo aspirants' thread. *coughs* #justsaying# Good evening to my superiors in the house. Just got admitted this year to study Elect/Elect Engineering. Nwanne m nwoke Nnamdi, kedu ka ihe si a da? |
gameboi: What does Biochemistry entails? If nobody here has a satisfactory answer to your question, I would advise you to use google. If you want to hear from those who have been in the field, just type this search keywords "Biochemistry graduates nairaland" in google. I hope you get what you really want. Fruitful research bro! |
fr3edoh: I have a bit of an issue bothering me...my name was on d merit list for econs deptYou need to go to the private university and reject the admission. They will give you a rejection letter which thereafter, u will submit it to Uniuyo's admission unit(i.e the school u want to accept their admission offer). Uniuyo will then submit your rejection letter to JAMB in Abuja for them(JAMB) to provide ur Uniuyo's admission letter. You've got to be fast with the whole process. Goodluck bro! |
Gguy4real: Pls how much is the acceptance fee and how we gonna pay the moneyThe acceptance fee is N15,000 and can only be paid at Uniuyo's Microfinance Bank, Uyo. |
Cathaliya: someone else already corrected me.Bad me! If I had seen it, I wouldn't have bothered correcting u again. |
Kingsleypower@:I also hope that's the case, but I'm afraid that's not what I saw on Uniuyo's site. Perhaps, the person that told you that did so on the premiss that your UTME and PUTME subject combo were the same. Anyways, the person may be right. When I saw the discrepancy between your UTME and PUTME subject combo I was left bereft of any advice to give u, honestly. I was wondering why you weren't consistent with your subject combo. This kind of mistake can be costly sometimes, you know. I have seen a guy(on unilag's thread) that got up to the merit cut off mark, but was denied admission because of wrong UTME subject combination. However, I pray your case won't be the same. Keep praying bro. It's only God that can always right our wrongs. Best wishes and a splendid day ahead! |
Jodekss: Which is the most usual way of ordering the following adjectives?E, A. |
Cathaliya: Mister, does 'a' go before a word like 'ubiquitous'..?In as much as ubiquitous is not the correct answer to the question, ur explanation is totally flawed. Ubiquitous goes with 'a' because it is pronounced as ju:bikwites. I replaced 'ou' with 'e' because my phone does not have the correct vowel sound to represent 'ou', though the 'e' makes sense. There are other examples that follow this pattern. That is why we call a person from Europe 'a European' instead of 'an European'. U understand? |

Gguy4real: Pls what about if I choose phsicology or sociology. What about that pls I need ur help |
Gguy4real: Pls what about if I choose phsicology or sociology. What about that pls I need ur helpIf you are bent on supplementing for either of the two i.e psychology or sociology, I would advise you to go for Psychology. My preference for Psychology over Sociology is because only 37 persons were admitted into the department while 81 persons were admitted into Sociology. Invariably, it means that you stand greater chances of being admitted if you choose Psychology. As for ur aggregate, which is very important to consider while making ur choices, this is my thought. I think even if your aggregate is not enough for the course you chose consequent of stiff competition from those with higher aggregates, they will give you another course which perhaps is less competitive. #mypersonalopinionthough# Note: before you choose any course, make sure your UTME subjects combination is correct with the required UTME subjects combination for the course. Failure to meet this requirement may result in outright loss of admission. God is your strength bro. |
Kingsleypower@:My night was awesome by His grace. In respect to ur question, I don't really have much knowledge about those courses. However, if you still muster the thought of switching over to Law perhaps in 200l, I would advise you to go for Philosophy. With hardwork and God's grace, you may be able to successfully switch to Law. #myopinion# God is your strength. |
Good morning pals. To those that have been admitted be informed that the payment of acceptance fee will commence on Monday, 11th November 2013. The amount is N15,000 (fifteen thousand naira). For more information, visit uniuyo.edu.ng. @Kingsley, your aggregate is good enough to get u any of the courses. I would advise u to make more researches about them before making ur final decision. God is ur strength bro. |
Okamadiri: GOD IS FAITHFUL AND JUST! I have been admitted into UNIUYO to study LAW(My dream-course). I was the guy who scored 352 in his post-utme,and 201 in jamb.JAMB thought they could limit or prevent me,but GOD VINDICATED ME! THANK YOU JESUS!!!Hehehehe, that part about Jamb really got me laughing. Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I would've considered changing course considering how competitive Law was, but you didn't. Kudos for your doggedness and a big congrats. |
gameboi: Hello Y'all.Well, I cannot categorically give direct answer to ur question because I don't have much knowledge about MBBS and Biochem. However, I can only give u a piece or two pieces of brotherly advice. If I were in ur shoes, I would consider two factors before making my final decisions. The factors are: a) Passion: I would ask myself if I really have genuine passion for MBBS. What actually is my motivation for this one of the most coveted courses by aspirants? Is it all about money or respect that comes with it? Can I develop this kind of passion for Biochem? Is there anything about Biochem that can motivate me this much? This last question would prompt me to carryout a thorough research about Biochem(google and those that have been there before can always be of help). If my findings are positive, I would consider the second factor. b)Satisfaction: It would be unfortunate for someone who already spent 4 to 5yrs in the university to start wishing he or she had studied another course. These kinds of empty wishes come up when the person in question isn't satisfied with what he/she studied. For instance, a good friend of mine who is studying Microbiology currently called me the other day. When we got talking, he told me that he was going to get his second degree in MBBS after completing his studies in Microbiology. Prior to his admittion to studying Microbiologly, he had wanted to study MBBS but was denied because he couldn't meet the cut off mark then. How do we explain his reason to take second degree in MBBS if it doesn' t boil down to lack of satisfaction? Again, age is very pertinent in some cases. If I'm right, the study of MBBS takes nothing less than six years to be completed. So, waiting for another year simply means you will be getting older. The ball is now in your court. You alone know precisely what you want, so go for it. I pray God to help you as you make your final decisions. Goodluck bro! |
Ochhie: Guys pls help me check mine. OCHONMA VICTORIA OMENIYE, LAW. But in direct entry list, thanksOut of the 22 persons admitted, I couldn't see ur name there. |
sir wealth: oluwa thank youMy bro, I'm happy for you. Congrats! |
Kingsleypower@:Honestly, the above post made me shed tears. You might be wondering, does it mean God didn't hear all my prayers? Why always me? I thought He could solve all problems, so why didn't he solve mine? Hmmm! No matter anything, God does not change. I have been in your shoes in umpteen occasions. So, I know exactly how you feel. Oh yea! I know. After taking WAEC with my mates in 2010, they got their complete results that same year and proceeded to various tertiary institutions with them but I had to wait till 2012 before mine was completely released through God's intervention. #talkingofwhatGodcando#. It didn't stop there. The same thing happened with my Jamb results in 2012 and 2013. So, I know how you feel. Do not give up yet! Like Allen pointed out, I would advise you to buy the supplementary form and go for political science and public administration if ur Utme subjects combination is what that is needed. Your aggregate can easily get u that course. Above all, do not stop praying. Our good and merciful God will see u through. #onelovebro# |
